Alert: Terrorist Attack
(Channel 7 News Station)
At 9:30am, in the mountain city of Rivendale, a large car bomb went off in the Cross Creek Mall. Half of the mile wide building has been anhilated.
It is estimated that five thousand people have died and a large, unkown, amount wounded. As of right now no terrorist have yet to claim this evil attack on the Revellian civilians (any rogue nations, or terrorist groups can claim responsibility).

We claim responsibility for this attack. Although we only intended to destroy the gas-guzzling Hummer that the bomb was placed in, along with several other nearby vehicles, apparently we caused some human casualties, too.
Even better.
You capitalist types have to learn that the planet that you are destroying is all that we've got. It is a beautiful place, so if you will just put down your PDAs and your video games and look around for a while, you'll see what you'e been missing. We are attempting to bring that to your attention.
We will plant another bomb within two days. It is a special bomb that will disso;ve all non-living objects within the city that it is planted in, which happens to be your capital. This is all thanks to nanomachines.

Hummers pollute more than Crown Victorias. Also, it's a lot more unsettling to see a Hummer burst into flames than any other kind of car, probably because the military uses them.

So your going to have to have bombed it for a different reason. Maybe because we believe in biological weapons are the ideal weapon of the time or something like that.

All traffic to and from the Balamb Islands has completely (except military traffic) stopped. This is to keep the small terrorist cell from leaving or bringing more terrorist. The entire naval fleet is on red alert and is policing the seas surrounding the balamb islands.

Dontgoneartheres excellent sources have infiltrated numerous terrorist groups. Were currently checking our lists to see if Eco Ter is on it.
In the mean time, I can send 2,000 of our own INS agents to assist you in stopping these attacks. Be warned though, they are very...good at their jobs. You wont get a Holocaust, more of a Spanish Inquesition, but with semi-future tech :roll:

(Also OOC:) Out of respect for 9/11, I will not be RPing as this nation today. It hardly seems right, and I just don't have the heart to pretend that I'm a bunch of terrorists today, the two-year anniversery of such a massive American tragedy. Today, all members of all modernized nations should band together and remember what it means to be world powers, and think of why people can get so mad at us. The best way to cherish the memory of those that we have lost is to make sure that we lose no more people the same way.
