Sterling releases statement concerning Neo Earth

Press Conference: Thursday, September 10, 2003
Newly-instated President Samuel S. Sterling attended the White House morning Press Conference, and when asked questions about efforts in the foriegn community, the State of World Democracy, and Neo Earth's recent warmongering, he had this to say:

"I certainly thing that over the past few years we have seen a troubling and distrurbing shift in Neo Earth's foriegn policy. There have been alot of interventions that we feel that a true anti-aggression alliance member nation would not take. Our staff here is very concerned with the change; in fact, we feel that Neo Earth's actions will soon land the government on a list that we reserve for nations like Dark terror and Belem, countries like that..."

They also train terrorists for other nations, creating a web of terrorism, that if we leave unchecked, will dominate the world thru fear and terror.
Mintar, also, questions how Neo Earth can be in an alliance that purports an anti-terror philosophy and still be allied with the rouge nation of Melkor Unchained.

I have no intentions of attacking you. I would never get involved in an RP with you to save my life. NO! This has nothing to do with you! Go away! I only mentioned your and Belem's nations because you are know for all the stupid acts you commit. It was an example.
Except Neo's my ally and my foreign policy is basically supporting all allies in all wars [unless an ally attacks another ally in which case I help the defender].

In response to Pilot's announcements, Emp. Ryo-Tan Siad this:

"Pilot has asked some very good questions about our aggression agianst Terristan. I wish to remind people that Terristan is a terrorist and that my grandfather created the anti-terrorist alliance called the UAAOT. Also, let me remind you, that my grandfather fought a civil war agianst terrorists, was killed by them, and my father devoted his life to defeating terrorists.
I am not going to allow anyone, big nation, or small, to get away with any terrorism. I don't care if I have to fight the entire world. Neo Earth isn't going to be known as the nation that had a chance to stop a major terrorist while he was small, just because of international pressure.
Terrorism cannot be allowed to continue in any way. I will die fighting for peace. But as long as terrorism exists, peace is not a option.
Another note. When we blockaded Terristan and requested that our diplomats meet his, he refused. I warned him, but we would not even try diplomancy. Therefore, I am going to make a example of this bug. A example of what Neo Earth does to anyone training fighters to attack civilians.
And finally, for the last time, I do NOT support Melkor. Thank you."

"At this point, we have no other options but to deem this response satisfactory for the time being. However, we find it hard for diplomacy to take it's couirse when preliminary military action has already been taken [blockade]"

"I had warned Terristan many times before the blockade. He refused to listen, and for it recieved the blockade. Now tell me, what would you have done agianst this terrorist? Even if you can think of something better, I don't think Terristan would have agreed.
