We have been working on a research project for superior stellar vessels. Some breakthroughs have prompted us to upgrade our short-range fighters. As such, it will cost funds, and so we are selling our older Anole class fighters to pay for the upgraded units. Here is a pic, and the statistics.
Anole-class Fighter
http://home.earthlink.net/~peterpank/fighter.JPG
The Anole is a short-range fighter which uses a solid chemical propellant.
Width: 3.25 meters
Height: 2.75 meters
Length: 6.5 meters
Weight:5.75 tons
Armament: Dual 10mm aperture pulse Eximer laser cannons. Also has a missile rack launcher, with 6 Spitting Cobra missiles. These are fire-and-forget proximity missiles that explode when coming within 6 inches of target, spreading high-velocity shrapnel for an effective radius of 50 feet.
Hull: Layered light Titanium/osmium alloy and Cermite 13/14, 1' thick each.
Crew: 1
Cockpit: 2.5 meters long by 1.5 meters wide by .95 meters high. Pilot lays on their belly while piloting this craft.
Air recycling duration: 1 day
Max speed: Not designed for atmospheric flight. Acceleration is 350 m's per second.
Engines: 4 Kastaa Power Works chemical mix engines.
Engine Life: 2 full days before needing refueling.
Features: The cockpit of the Anole-class short-range fighter has an inertia-absorbing gelatinous full-body crash compartment reinforced with a 6mm steel wall in case of ejection.
The Anole-class also has an infra-red, telescopic and UV camera, Wide-band and tight-band radio receiver/transmitter and a mini-radar H.U.D. with a range of 2500 kilometers.
Sale price is 25,000,000 each. Comes with a tech manual, maintanence needs and some spare ammunition. There are 2500 units available.
Here is our Anole-II class fighter
http://home.earthlink.net/~peterpank/fighters.JPG
The Anole II is a long-range fighter which uses a miniaturized fusion engine for propulsion.
Width: 4.25 meters at its most extreme points.
Height: 4.25 meters
Weight:15.75 tons
Length: 10.5 meters
Armament: Dual 20mm aperture pulse Eximer laser cannons, turret mounted. Turret swivels 360 degrees, and 90 degrees up. Also has a missile rack launcher, with 6 Spitting Cobra II missiles. These are fire-and-forget proximity missiles that explode when coming within 6 inches of target, spreading high-velocity shrapnel for an effective radius of 75 feet. Missiles accelerate ate 1000 meters per second for 5 minutes.
Hull: Layered Chitinous Resin/osmium alloy and Cermite 13/14, 1.5' thick each.
Crew: 1
Cockpit: 2.8 meters long by 2 meters wide by .1.1 meters high. Pilot lays on their belly while piloting this craft.
Air recycling duration: 12 days
Max speed: Not designed for atmospheric flight. Acceleration is 450 m's per second.
Engines: 4 Kreeg IVb variant Ca engines.
Engine Life: 1 month before needing maintanence.
Features: The cockpit of the Anole II-class long-range fighter has an inertia-absorbing gelatinous full-body crash compartment reinforced with a 1' titanium wall in case of ejection, allowing it to act as an escape pod. Also comes with a refreshment and food dispenser, and fuzzy dice.
The Anole II-class also has an infra-red, telescopic and UV camera, Wide-band and tight-band radio receiver/transmitter, pulse-laser communications array and a microwave radar H.U.D. with a range of 50,000 kilometers.
