I don't understand people selling people other things on these forums. Do the people actually have to pay them in the national currency and do they actually have some note that your country then has those weapons? I do not understand that at all. If you didn't notice, I am new lol.

Really, It's all based on (subway term)UPSIZING your army. You buy machinery, weapons, armor, and all sorts of neat crap that can help your population and your army. Check out some sticky threads (especially mine :D ) for more info about your army. Read other people's posts! You'll learn quick enough. It's all about having fun. It's a game. Most people forget that. Have fun!

I recommend that you go to the NationStates forum and read the stickies at the top of the first page there. This will answer a lot of your questions.
The short answer is that the buying and selling of things on the forums is all imaginary- as in roleplaying. We would all appreciate it if you managed to restrain yourself to sticking with a realistic budget for your country (new countries are extremely unlikely to have hundreds of millions of dollars available for much of anything).
