Dronestia

Science Advisor Grissom looked through his gleaming binoculars at the floating orb in the sky. The Dronestian national flag gleamed on the side of the blimp's hull beautifully.
"I can't believe it's actually FLOATING!" Grissom cheered. Several aides and visiting dignitaries grinned and clapped behind him as he watched. "Is the pilot reporting anything out of the ordinary?" The young, fresh-faced intern beside Grissom paused and checked the radio board.
"No sir...Commander Land is reporting that hydrogen levels are holding. The hull is staying intact. Ballast systems are opearting just as we though they would."
"Excellent...this could mean a great leap forward for Dro-" Grissom's eyes burned as an explosion rocked the small complex around them. He lowered his binoculars and squinted, unable to see anything due to ocular bleaching. What happened? Was Land still alright out there?
"Oh my!" one of the dignitaries behind him screamed in terror, "Derigible One has just...exploded!"
OOC: Obviously, nation's first attempt at harnessing the power of hydrogren to lift them to the sky...yeah, something went wrong.
