In a shocking announcement today by the head of the National Defense Council, Senior General Field Marshal Tennison, the call-up of all members of the Tilsitsinian Guard-Reserve forces were announced through military channels. It is estimated that the total number of troops activated to exceed 800,000, although some analysts note that this may be a conservative estimate.

This comes in response to the continued deterioration of relations with Pantera over the issue of the drug trade and specifically the involvement of the nation of Dumb and Dumber in efforts to concentrate it's trade at Tilsitsin. With rhetoric continuing to fly (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=68635&start=100) between Pantera and Tilsitsin, the recent open declaration of war on Pantera by Tilsitsin did not come as a surprise to some.

"With the language of both sides becoming increasingly hostile and Pantera now directing drugs squarely at us", notes an unnamed Tilsitsinian Foreign Office spokesman, "it was only a matter of time until war was declared." The spokesman then finished with an ominous prediction: "Now the military will speak for us, and I fear that this will get very bloody and be the costliest experience that our country goes through".

When reached for comment concerning Tilsitsan and thier mobilisation, Lord Reaver Bastien the Bronze said,"Ah, the cowards have decided to stop moaning and come to face their doom. Good, good..."

Toke, Pantera: In the capitol, millions of Reavers celebrate, and it is a night of drunkeness and merriment. The city is alive with the sound of laughter and cheering, and occasionally a gunshot.

The streets and homes of Pantera rejoice, enjoying a moment of happiness before the war to come. The scene is far different in the skies, where hundreds of Panteran fighters scream overhead, patrolling Panteran Airspace as HomeLand defense is brought to full strength.

When notified of the situation , Emperor Roland Meridius has made a statement to the world announcing Elaras position.

It is a pity that Tilsitsin has decided to declare war on an ally of the Empire. I have now called 2 Mwto'ar Class Frigates , 1 Elarian Battleship , 1 Elarian Cruiser , 1 Elarian Carrier and 1 Elarian Destroyer to position themselves above Earth. The Empires lands on Earth are not far from our allies of Pantera and so it will be easy to aid in their defense. By declaring war on Pantera , Tilsitsin has unknowingly declared war on the Empire itself. Our Naval Fleet stands at the ready and our military forces are preparing themselves as we speak. Imperial Troops are seen marching through the streets and people cheer them on as they march to the ports and docks , it seems the Empire goes to war again , nothing out of the ordinary for a Warrior race.

I would highly recommend that you extract yourself from these events, as this is between Tilsitsin and Pantera. Tilsitsin wishes to see if Pantera can back up it's words on it's own.

Also, there were no "objects" left anywhere in Tilsitsin, so your claims have no basis. We do thank you for trying though..

The White House
The President sat peacefully in his leather chair, reviewing a reports from around the globe, and deliberating the next international move New Genoa was to make. The President's aide broke the silence abruptly, rushing into the Oval Office, holding an urgent "hot-off-the-press" document, which contained the address of the International Press Release from Tilsitsin's National Defense Council. The President snatched the paper rapidly and read it swiftly. He turned, and picked up the phone, "I need to address Congress pronto. We have a tight situation and I need authorization to mobilize New Genoese Marines to defend our ally and friend, Bastien the Bronze." He hung up and whipped out countless orders to his aide, with the conclusion being "get me on a direct transmission to the Lord Reaver, NOW."

The aide nodded, "Yes, sir." He scurried off and hurriededly attempted to complete every direct order and command the President had given.

Forty-five minutes later, a direct, encrypted transmission from President Alex Carter was sent to Lord Reaver Bastien the Bronze.

We have discovered of the recent and foolish acts of war declared by Tilsitsin, and once I have the approval of Congress, expect New Genoese Marines to arrive in southern Pantera within the next week. I assure you Congress will grant the use of force to aid in the defense of our noble and honored ally. Be aware though, that New Genoese naval vessels will be within the proximity and the Panteran coast, and I advise you to ensure the safety of these vessels, and not to fire upon them, for they will be arriving for the sole purpose of the naval defense of Pantera. Godspeed.

The President was soon to rapidly make a national address to the nation, and an international address to Tilsitsin.

Marines on the island of Blaine have already begun preparations after General Hank Habbas had been contacted by the head of the military that war was soon to come, and his men where to be the first to be deployed.

Anything against Pantera you have against the Allied Powers. Anything you have against the AP, you have against me. 10 Shrike Class Corvettes and 4 Frisia Class frigates have been put into orbit over the USNE. When the first strike comes, they will be ready to respond. Rest assured, once we are done with Markov, we will come with full force onto you.

Should your coalition of Cowards decide that they, too fears Pantera, and decides to stand down, we would be more than happy to order our allies to stand back and cheer as we decimate your legions. For now our orders to our allies are only to assume orbital dominance of the Allied Powers, and to place their own forces on high-alert, should one of you cowards think to take advantage of this to attack them as well.

In a stirring speech this afternoon before the Seastone Council, and the Reaver Lords in attendance, Bastien the Bronze made rousing comments concerning Tilsitsan and the pending 'invasion' of Pantera. Dressed in antique ceremonial plate-mail, his speech has ignited the fires of War in the hearts of millios of Reavers:

"The weak ones have decided to come to Pantera, Reavers. They have finally overcome thier terror of our berserkers and have mobilized thier forces for War... Little do they know that we are bred for this, and this alone. The Waters belong to the Reavers, and to Pantera. These fools think to deprive you of birthright and Honor..."

An angry murmer runs through the assembled Lords and nobility, but Bastien the Bronze speaks over them:

"Well, I say come, craven. Bring your legions to Pantera, and as I once invited before, bring your wives and daughters, for my battle-thirst shall be fierce when I am finished, and I shall quench my thirst with thier Tears."

He casts his gaze acros the massive hall, fires roaring in half a hundred hearths and glinting off the gold and iron coating many of the Lords assembled. His roar is almost beastial as he takes up an ancient broadsword, its bare length inscribed with silver runes and glimmering in the firelight.

"As I unsheath this blade, I vow no cowards shall remain in Pantera. This blade shall remain unsheathed until its rage-fires have been drown by the blood of our enemies, and it burns no more. Written in starlight upon silver, it is our destiny to stride high above lesser men, and we shall answer that destiny now, by defeating this incursion against our lands. Will we cower, Reavers? Or will we arise and Drag the Waters of War?"

The murmer running through the assembled Reaver Lords is growing more audible as the Lord Reaver thrusts the shining blade above his head, crying the ancient challenge,"Are you Ready for the Crows Feast?"

The deafening roar of ten-thousand Reavers answers him, screaming defiance and death, shaking the stones of the ancient palace as they surge to thier feet and cheer thier Warrior-King.

"Then let the Gods drink thier fill."

"Disturbing reports come from Pantera." Vice President Erin "Sneezy" Aireserkeiel mumbles as her shaking hands bring a cup of coffee to her lips. Everyone was on edge and nerves were frayed. Ever since news of the losses in the Space War against the ShaRa were received, everyone in the Republic of Adejaani became shaken and sullen. Indeed, despite the nation's resolve, murmers of anti war dissent were already in the air.

President Harrington rubbed her eyes and leaned back in her chair, looking out at the night sky. "Sneezy, put everyone on alert, don't deploy forces to Pantera. If there's an invasion, we'll just push them out. Increase our alert status."

"But Madam President, we are already at 'ALPHA ONE' due to the war with the ShaRa....."

"Then make sure they know Pantera might be invade. Get on with it!"

Well, then this proves to me that Pantera will hide behind allies rather than fight Tilsitsin's superior forcces head on! A pitty though, we were looking forward to test some new equipment..

You fail to understand these nations are mobilizing to protect APTO space. Pantera is not hiding behind allies, we are rallying behind Pantera. So come. If you want to test new equipment, attack. Or are you too frightened to attack Pantera because of allies? If your nation is as great as you boast it, fight Pantera. Fight us.
Because we aren't leaving, so fight or leave.

This is the regional map of the Allied Powers region. Pantera is the Black on the far right side of the Map.

A bit of geography for you: The northernmost provinces of Pantera are mountains and bogs, swamps and towering frozen peaks. The south is plains, valleys, foresets, and numerous defensible rivers.

The central strip of Pantera is known as the Vale. A long, narrow valley, bordered on both sides by the Rage Range, a string of towering mountian peaks, all but impossible to assault from anywhere but the northern Gates of the Gods or the Southron Pass.

The islands visible inside the crescent of Pantera are not heavily populated, but Military installations are thick here. Numerous other islands that aren't shown here are scattered all about Panteran Waters, and these will offer a strong deterrant to any assault on mainland Pantera.

Building by building in and out he goes , he marks off buildings from a list in his head. Only government buildings and other buildings of importance. What was he doing? His Tilsitsin accent was almost perfect , he had almost an aura of confidence around him , no question was in his mind of the possibility of failure. The world may never know what happened , there would be no-one to know of all his deeds , no glory. But to himself Klaus was a god on earth. Check , another off the list. He continues to walk whistling and smiling as he goes.

OOC: Listen, I won't go back and forth over the issue, but the possibility of your guy going door to door unnoticed all the while dropping trinkets at each location is unthinkable. We have public cameras everywhere, government and especially military installations have cold war SAC style security, and our national motto should give a further clue.. In other worlds, private places in Tilsitsin may be easy targets, but government installations are another matter.
