I greet you from our captial located at the base of Mount Eagle Tennessee, Chattanooga. Our nation covers the extreme north western part of the former state of Georgia, and the lower third of south eastern Tennessee. Our goals are to expand territory around our captial. We plan to take land in the former state of North carolina and South Carolina. If you look on the old maps, you will see that our captial is pratically on the border with The United States Club. We have attempted to purchase land from the USC but they continually hold to the line that they can revive the old United States. Therefore, we have purchased a lot of modern hardware and will occupy the land we need. We will pay the USC for this. It is up to them to accept it or just let the check lay on some desk.

In Washington D.C. President Hollings was pacing the oval office.

"Our re-unification is taking too long, What is the problem General?"
"Er, sir, the Problem is that the United Nations has reconized almost all of the breakaway areas as independent nations. Heh, they even reconize florience road, a supposed nation that streaches along a street in central Tennessee. " Said General Richard Myers.

"What a joke." Said Vice President Chaney.

"Don't they get it.... We will unify this great nation. We will." Said Hollings.

"There are more protest against our keeping troops in Iraq" Said Myers."They feel that since the United States of America no longer exist, that we should bring the few troops left home."

Hollings slammed his fist into the desk.

"We are the United States of America. We will be re-unified again."

Just then, an army officer brought a telegram into the oval office. Attorney General Katherine Harris snatched it up and opened it.

"God...Its a check for 450 million dollars. From the Dominion of Mount Eagle...The note says that we are to consider an area streaching from Swain County North Carolina to the Greater Greenville County South Carolinia and along a line from that county back to the Dominion, Dominion territory. The check is to cover the cost of purchase."

Hollings looked up at the cracked ceiling.

"I told them that The United States does not consider any breakaway nations independent."

"What shall I do with the check?"

Hollings tore the check from Harris's hands and tore it into a dozen pieces.

"That... Now no more of these break away talks, Like Lincoln, I am considering all breakaways as still being part of the United States."

Hollings stormed out of the room and back to the shattered White House.

The small city of Andrews North Carolina had gone through the worst of the break up. There were in this small town, an abandoned Fire Station. With little money coming from Washington, there just wasn't enought money to keep the engines going. The Police Station stood empty as well. No money for the police. Many who stayed behind, now found themselves unemployeed. At least no one was repossessing the homes that had now gone unpaid for several months on end. No one seemed interested in foreclosing on millions of homes. Many people spent their days dreaming about the old United States.

That was what they were doing, when the first Mount Eagle tanks came rolling into town. The citizens scattered and fled. One tank crashed through the abandoned Police station. The United States flag that stood infront of the school came down and the Dominion Flag went up.

One of the tank commanders steped off the tank and claimed the city for the Dominion of Mount Eagle. Then about 1,000 Foot soliders entered the town and established probably the first law enforcement since the break up of the old United States. By evening, the city water which had been down for 2 years was going again and the citizens were thinking that maybe it was not such a bad thing to be under the Flag of the Dominion of Mount Eagle.

Today the Prime Minister of Mount Eagle, Ted Christianson announced that the Dominion has occupied parts of NOrth Carolina and South Carolina. The Dominion stated that they met no resistance and in fact some cities were glad to see them come.

"For the first time, we have water and law and order" Said Cindy Newton of Anderson North Carolina. When Mount Eagle troops arrived in this small town in the back woods of North Carolina, they immediatly established law and order and got the water going again.

"Our goal tommorow will be to begin limited Electrical services, we hope to get the whole regin linked to our Electric grid by the first of next week" General Clayton Smith of the 3rd Dominion Army said.

No word from Washington on this occupiation. One wonders what Washington will do now.....

"What is so interesting about it... Mount Eagle is just expanding the area around their captial. I mean, before the occupiation, one could walk out of the city limits and into the United States Club. " Said President Malcom

"I would not be worried about france, I would be concerned about the Peoples Republic of East Tennessee. They are sending military hardware toward the border of Mount Eagle." Said General popov.

"But East Tennessee is a Communist Nation. I do not know what we will do if they invade Mount Eagle. They have always claimed the area as part of east Tennessee. It will be a mess if East Tennessee invades." Said President Malcom

"Sire what shall our position on the invasion be???" Asked Prime Minister MIRONOV

Malcom walked around his office and looked out the window. Fall was moving in to Memphis, the captial of the Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic. People were moving about their business.

" We have all that surplus military hardware, we have several nuclear weapons, two intercontinental and we have hundreds of aircraft. Right now, we will support the expansion of a defense zone around Chattanooga. If France tries to interfear, mmmmm park a couple of Alpha Class Nuclear Attack subs off its coast. and then fly some of our bombers close to it as well. A show of strength."

The others left the Presidents office.

The Second Grunge-French Republic respect the independence of the nations and their own issues, however, you are not respecting USC´s own independence and soveregnity.

If USC sends a protest, we will start in The Congress of The Republic discussions on what to do about your tiny expansionistic nation.

He looked down on the Newspaper on the table of the Oval Office. Cascadia and The Free Republic of Mormon supported the expansion of the land around Chattanooga. A french newspaper proclaimed that Grunge-France was willing to assist the United States.

"Sir if we let the French help, we will be in serious danger. We will appear weak to the rest of the world... " Said Powell

"I am not ABOUT TO LET ANOTHER BREAKAWAY interfear with our internal affairs. " Said President Hollings.

"Sir, at least we need to do something about the Breakaway problem..." Said General Allison.

The President slumped into the broken chair behind his desk.

"Lincoln had no problems mobilizing hundreds of thousands of men... Why can't we do that now..." Said Hollings.

"Well, Lincoln did not live in our day and age, all nations have suffered breakaways. France, The Neatherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Russia, Japan, Even Singapore has had breakaways. It is far far far more difficult to convence a people that we need to be unified when the previous President almost started a global world war which lead to this mess now..." Said Powell

"I think we may need to bring the boys in Iraq home" Said Chaney.

"Why should you want that, after all,it was you all who put them there in the first place " Shouted Hollings.

The President stood and looked at his dis-illusioned cabinet...

"Harris, send this official statement... We appreciate the assistance of France, but we can handle our internal problems... Er fix that up to where it sounds good." Said the President.

"Yes Mr. President' Said Attorney General Katherine Harris.

"General Allison, mobilize our forces, I Think it is time to begin to kick back. For too long, we have allowed these breakaways to have the run of the camp... Now it is time to show them who the boss is" Said Hollings.

"President Hollings, this may be the biggest mistake since the last administration tried to invade Iran..." Said Powell.

The Congress has decided to act only by the wishes of USC for this time, thereby, we will not interfeer.

However, The Congress of The Republic could start an independent trial against Eagle at any moment if they keep with their expansionism, whether the affected nation asks for it or not.

But, for this time, we will withdraw from the conflict.

"The whole of East Tennessee is ours," Said General Tylor " Why do we continue to tollerate the bayings of Mount Eagle."

"Our Armed forces are mighty. We have Two cruisers ready to do battle" Said Commodore Eastmon.

"We need Mount Eagle, they are like a sore thumb sticking into the heart of our southern territory. There is only 25 miles on either side. On the west, The Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic, on the east.... The East" Said Foriegn Minister Wallace.

" It is unfortunate that the Batavian Soviet choose to support the Mount Eagle That makes our task even more difficult." Said Air Marshall Danville.

The President of the People's Republic of East Tennessee walked in that moment. He was a frail looking man. He was dressed as a Roman Ceaser. He wore sandles and had rich rings upon his fingers...

"Oh I know why the Soviet supports Mount Eagle. They hope their support will prevent us from invading the Dominion... They are correct. For now. We will not invade the Dominion. But for war, we must prepair. I want all citizens to start working 80 hours a week, and 7 days a week. We must increase our war defense plants we must prepair for the battle ahead."

The leader gave a strange kind of laught and walked out of the government chamber...

The House of Representatives seemed hallow and empty. The Rain that fell on Washington poured through several large holes in the roof. There were only a couple of dozen people in the room. One television camera panned over them. The camera constantly failed. Someone had painted CNN on the side of the camera.

"What are we doing here?" asked The Representative from Delaware.
"The President called a joint session of Congress." Said the Senator from Maryland.
"What on earth for, I have work to do" Said the Senator from Virginia.
"What work, oh you mean you are working on the sixth declaration of Virginian independence right???" said the Senator from North Carolina.
"Heard about that trouble with the Breakaway... West Virginia is prepared to offer any help it can"
"Save it, besides you need to keep any help for yourself. "
"Yeal, your right."
"Besides those people in Western North Carolinia are backward, let Mount Eagle have them..."

A woman walked to the front of the building.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, The President of the United States." She said.

President Hollings walked down the wet runway to the front of the House of Representatives. The members of the Joint Session did not clap or cheer. They resigned themselves to whatever fate the President would dish out at them.

The President stood infront of them. The one camera zoomed in on him. The President looked up at the holes in the roof and watched the rain pour in on the empty seats.

"One time, this nation of ours was the most powerful in the world. Pax America was the buzz word. Then we had the incidents which we are all too well aware of. Then the Previous President resigned and his Vice President refused to be nominated. That left me with the Job.

Then the Breakaways began. The First one was Cascadia. Then California broke away. Then the rest. Then the wars when we tried to hold it all together...

This House of Representatives was where I started my career in Government. Back then, we were a proud nation. This House of Representatives was an honored institution. Now it is just a ruin of its'self. Just like the nation.

If the people had wanted, they could had kept the nation from falling apart. But men with influence interfeared. And so America looked the other way... I remember the cries....."As long as I get my paycheck I don't care who is running the nation..." Just tell that to the Citizens who are in Eastern Tennessee now. And don't think running to Canada will help. Most of Cascadia is in Canada.

We cannot depend on others to help us. We must help ourselves.

The United Nations has reconized every breakaway nation in the world. What are they now??? 42,000 nations??? 400,000 so-called nations??? It is the United Nations that has caused this. They could had stopped it. They should had condemned the Breakaway movement. How dare they ruin our planet... How dare they.. the absurd part of this, is that they reconized a Breakaway group centered around Florience Road, outside of Murfreesboro Tennessee... How stupid can the United Nations get???

This nation of ours is hurting. But the time to hurt has ended. I declare to you that these United States, consist of 50 States, From sea to shining Sea, from Canada to mexico, and Hawaii and Alaska too. This nation is one nation. And The United States does not reconize any Breakaways with-in its borders. It is pure Treason.

I realize that some Breakaways are doing quite well. However, your benefit is at the cost of the rest of the Nation. Therefore, I am announcing an Amnisty program. Any Breakaway nation that seises its armed actions against the Federal Government and will sign a pledge of oath to the Constitution and the Government of the United States, and will return to the fold will not be punished. Any region that remains in a state of rebellium will face the concenquences. We will bring full military reprisal upon all breakaways that continue to rebel against the Federal Government.

Our nation has lasted far too long, to die in this mannor. Until the current crisis is over, I am declaring a state of emergency and am suspending the Constitution. All senators and Congressmen will continue to represent the people and meet. But until the Emergency is over, we must take extraordinary measures.

(AP) Harrison Arkansas.

The Federation of North Arkansas, today, lashed out at President Hollings demand that all breakaways return to the fold...

"We have gone beyond the point of no return. We will never join with the United States and they better take a real long hard look at the military the Breakaways possess now. It would be better if Hollings accepted the situation and began working on his own economy."

Tonight, the Federation President visited the President of Batavia. It is unknown what the two talked about.

Also, none of the leaders are commenting about the United States moving large forces south toward North Carolina. Today, F-14 tomcats were seen flying near the newly occupied territories.

Two F-14 Tomcat fighters were flying closer to the new borders of Mount Eagle. The two fighters, armed with several different types of missiles brushed the tops of trees as they flew on their mission.

"This is Hawk 1 and 2 no sign of opposition" Said the pilot of the first F-14
"Roger, cross the border and scout for opposition" Said base
"Roger that, crossing the frontier line into Mount Eagle"

Two F-14s flew across the border and deep into Mount Eagle space.

Suddenly 5 FANTAN Q-5 / A-5 fighters broke through the clouds and opened fire on the F-14's The first was caught by surprise and went down in flames. The second pulled up and fired a phoenix missile which hit one of the Fantan fighters. The Fantan went down in flames. Two other Fantans opened fire with sidewinders. The second F-14 went up in flames. No survivors.

The remaining 4 Fantans patroled the skies of Mount Eagle territory and then returned to base...

(AP) Chattanooga Mount Eagle.

The Military command reported that 5 jet fighters intercepted and destroyed 2 United States fighters over western North Carolina today. One Mount Eagle fighter was downed but both US planes were destroyed.

The Government states that it will defend its borders. Military units have been seen being deployed to the newly annexed territories. In the distance, United States M1 Abrams have been seen on manouvers. One gets the feeling that war could be just around the corner.

The sky was finally clear over Washington D.C. the citizens were finally able to strart drying out their soaked homes. Almost all the homes in DC had holes in their roofs. Some citizens were reading about the incident in Mount Eagle. Others were trying to make a living anyway they could. Electric was off for today, part of the ever continueing energy crisis. But the people in the White House had at least a little Air Conditioning...

The President was sitting behind his soaked desk. He was typing out a memo to be read to the country.

Colin Powell came in at that moment.

"Powell, Glad you are here, With this memo we begin the restoration of the United States" Said President Hollings.

"Mr. President, what do you mean??? The United States is not a super power any more..."

"The United States is still a Super Power. If those yellow sorry @#$@^ would stop rebelling and unite we would be a great nation." Said President Hollings.

"What about our losses of two very expensive F-14 Tomcats?" Asked General Clark.
'We have more, use them" Said Hollings.

"Sir, we have about 40. And thats it." Said Clark.

"Surely we have other kinds of fighters eh Clark???"

"YEs sir, at andrews AFB. We have about 50 F-18's 38 F-16's and 37 F-15. We also have B-52 bombers and some stealth stuff." Said Clark.

"My God, What happened to the thousands of aircraft we use to have???"

"Some are destroyed, some are now in other Governments..." Said Powell.
"Never refer to the Breakaways as nations ever again, Powell, got that???' Said President Hollings.

"Loud and clear sir" Said Powell.

"Now, I have this memo, I want it issued to the nation." Said President Hollings.

Colin Powell looked at it...

Your President today, has called for 700,000 volunteers for our Army. We begin the great battle today to drive the rebels out of the nation.

Colin Powell shook his head. Suddenly the air raid sirens went off.

"What in the earth is going on" Asked Clark.

Hollings ran out of the Oval Office. He leaped onto the Back lawn of the White House and looked into the skies.....

The Black Jacks came in at near supersonic speeds. They were in close formation. At the same time, they opened their bomb bay doors and dozens of bombs fell from the supersonic bombers. PResident Hollings dove under a cement table. Bombs hit the Treasury building and it fell. Bombs blasted a whole side away from the Senate wing of the captial. The east wing of the White House was on fire and black smoke was pouring from it. What was left of the washington monument came crashing down onto the World War 2 memorial. Dozens of tourist were killed. Bombs took out the Jefferson memorial and the FDR memorial. The bombers circled the city.

HOllings got out from under the cement table and observed the scene of devistation. Huge columns of smoke bellowed up from the state department, the Justice Building, the White House and the Captial. The Supreme Court building was gone, so too was the Department of Agriculture. Hollings walked back to the white house and watched as people started leaping from the first story windows. Everyone was in a panic. Attorney General Harris came running out of the west wing. She was followed by Powell and General Clark.

"MY GOD MY GOD MY GOD, Mount Eagle has done it, they've attacked us..." Said HOllings.

"Sir, that was NOT Mount Eagle. Those planes have Florence Road markings on them. I think they came from their newly aquired Air Force Base at Smyrna Tennessee." Said Clark.

"Florence Road, that street???"

"Yes Sir, that street seems to had developed some guts and teeth." Said Powell.

Suddenly the 5 bombers began bombing the shattered Pentagon. Columns of Black Smoke poured from it. Then the 5 bombers spead off at supersonic speeds.

"I want to know what happened.... How could that street be able to slide in here and plaster the captial for christ sake..." Said HOllings.

"IT seems one of the bombers was able to jam our radar. We did not even know they were here until the first bombs fell" Said General Clark.

Some Military men arrived at that point and reported to the President.

"Sir they hit Andrews AFB. Took out a lot of aircraft, killed a lot of good men and women" Said one of the Colonels.

"Where was Florence Road able to get such aircraft???"

"Sir, I think they purchased them from the nation of SOuth Islands." Said Clark.

"Great another breakaway." Said President Hollings.

Hollings walked back into the whitehouse.

In the Blackmon Community, the Captial of Florence Road, community leader Jeb Robertson walked slowly behind a mic. There were a few news reporters present, several camera's and a lot of the citizens of the Country.

The Community leader looked out at the audience.

"I just want to make a short statement. We did what we had to. The United States indicated that it was going to take military action against our successful Community here. We bombed Washington D.C. as an act of self preservation. We hope that President Hollings will now realise that We are a force and not some breakaway. The United Nations reconizes our total and complete independence. I hope President HOllings will get out of his daydream and see that things have changed. I believe our deminstration shows that we can and will defend ourselves."

The Community Leader walked back to the Community House, the home of the leader of Florence Road.

The President calls for 650,000 volunteers to fight to re-unite our proud nation and to defeate the Breakaways. We condemn the attack by Florence Road and announce a Blockade, designed to prevent any nation from supplying weapons and arms to the Breakaways. Any nation outside the United States, found assisting the Breakaways will be punished.

(AP) Eyewitnesses have come forward to state that United States Naval ships are leaving NOrfolk for parts unknown. Many are wondering if this is either an exercise or the real thing, a blockade. The United Nations today already expressed that an Blockade would not be tollerated.

60 miles south east of New Orleans

SS Falcon was carrying a large shipment of items for the Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic. It was around Midnight, September 11-12.

The bridge watch had made ready for port arrival, 3 hours from now. Everyone was talking about their reward that they would get when they delivered their goods.

Radar then picked up a small ship about 2 miles ahead of them...

"Can you tell what she is?" Asked Number One.
"No but I would imagine either an Batavian picket ship or a small freighter" Said the radar operator.
"Bring her about 2 degrees, that will take us 3 miles to the port of her, plenty of room" Said Number One.
The helm spun the wheel and the ship moved.
"Sir, that ship just took up an intercept course with us, now making a b-line for us." said the Radar operator.

"Sir I am getting a radio message..." Said the Radio Shack.
"Lets hear it" Said Number One.

The message was monotone.

"The is the USS Jacksonville, you are to heave too and prepare for boarding." Said the radio.

The bridge crew looked about wondering what was going on.

"This is SS Falcon, Commander Solton in charge, we are in Batavian Soviet Waters.... Your authority is not reconized here"

"This is Jacksonville, you are in waters claimed and protected by the United States of America. A blockade has been enacted around those regions that are in rebellium against the Government of the United States of America. You will hault or we will open fire"

"This is SS Falcon, the United Nations reconizes the independence of The Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic. You are in violiation of United Nations mandates. I suggest you stand down and allow us to pass"

Just then a huge splash churned up the water 100 meters off the port beam.

"They fired on us" said the Navagator.

"Action stations, get the Captain up here" Said Number One.

Alarm bells went off all over the ship. In the distance the Jacksonville's lights could be seen, a bright search light lit up the entire cargo ship.

The Captain came on the bridge.

"The USS Jacksonville eh. You did explain we are in Batavian waters right?"

"Yes Sir,"

"Radio Shack get on the other radio and issue a SOS and explain that we are under attack from United States ship. Helm rev up the engines to 25 knots and execute radical zigzags" Barked the Captain.

"This is USS Jacksonville, hault or we will fire directly on you"
"This is Captain Ford, that would be an act of piracy"
"Cut the nonsense, you are outgunned and you are in United States Territorial Waters. You will be charged with Piracy and attempting to run a blockade..."

Just then two large Jets appeared and buzzed the SS Falcon.

The Captain and Number One ran out on the flying bridge and watched. The Two fighter Jets straifed the Jacksonville. Explosions and shrapnal flew up all around the ship. The US Ship took radical evasive action and sped up to their 40 knots. The Captain ran back onto the bridge.

"Lets try to make a break for it while they are occupied"

The Falcon continued moving away.

The Jacksonville was hit by several machine gun shots. Then the Jacksonville fired several SAMS from their vertical launch tubes. Both Jets fell into the water in flames.

"Sir they shot down both fighters. I think we gained a mile on them." Said Number One.

Suddenly ropes fell from the skies and men in military uniforms landed on the ship and on both sides of the bridge.

"All hands we are being boarded" Said the Captain into the intercom.

Suddenly a bright flash lit up the bridge and men stormed in on both sides.

Two very large men grabbed Captain Ford.

"Ok bring her to a dead stop" Said a man who seemed to be in charge.

The Falcon stopped.

"Now, captain, fun and games are over. My name is Lt. Wilson, United States Navy. You have the right to remain silent, You have the right to an attorney..." And then the Jacksonville blew up.

The U.S. marines ran to the rails and watched as two Alpha Class Subs surfaced on the sea.

Then in the distance dark forms appeared. Very large forms.

"Sir, what in the world are those..." Asked a private.

"It looks like several Soyuz IV type Battleships."

Then they watched as their transportation hit the water in flames. 3 more fighters buzzed the freighter. and then More ropes appeared and Men came sliding down these ropes. A fight broke out with lots of gun fire.

Then The U.S. Marines surrendered after a short fight.

A tall man in a military uniform, wearing a helment in the style of Russia, walked to wilson.

"I am Colonel Popov. You are in the territorial waters of the Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic. You have committed an act of war."

Popov motioned for Wilson to be taken away.

"Captain Ford is your ship still functional?"

"We will escort you into New Orleans. We apologize for not being more quicker in our response" The colonel left the bridge and Captain Ford ordered the ship to follow the Soyuz Battleships.

"Good keep them moving that way, while they are at it, have them seize north and South Carolina. " Said Hollings.

"Sir, The United Nations has condemmed our interception of commercial commerce..." Said Powell.
"Well you tell them, this administration will defend our borders to the Nth degree... We donot reconize the independence of any breakaway."
A navy man entered the room and handed Powell a piece of paper.
"No survivors have been found from the USS Jacksonville. Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic reports holding 78 Marines as Detainees pending status as POW's"
Hollings exploded.
"I want the first army to push into Central Tennessee. Take all the breakaways located there. We will show that this Government will not tollerate this criminal action. Pull all of our Los Angeles Class Attack subs into the blockade and have them sink those Alpha class subs. Finally, I want to launch an air strike against those nations that sold arms to the Breakaways. Do it now. Get it done" Said HOllings.

President Hollings was sitting on the front steps of the white house. He was looking over some military orders he had issued to the special command.

"General Keane, Seems quiet tonight" The President said to the general sitting on the steps next to him.

"Yes sir it does."

"Has the central command come up with a stragity on taking back the breakaways"
"We have. Our first mission I believe will be a stunner. They will not at all expect the attacks."
"Good. Finally some good news."
The President stood and entered the WHite House.

Southern Louisana was very quiet. The people who lived there liked it that way. This evening, many hundreds of shrimp boats were on the waters gathering up shrimp. The new government gave them generous funds and support. The fishermen knew that their government was now at war with the old shell that use to be the United States. But that was on the east coast, far away.

An grandfather and his grandchildren were cruising off the coast of Louisana. They were watching all the shirmp boats. Their mother and father also fished shrimp. Suddenly several helicopters flew over.

"Grandfather, grandfather, did you see the helicopters?" shouted the excited grandchildren.
"Yes yes, just our government flying patrols." Said the old man.

Then the helicopters came back. And then the helicopters began blasting the shrimp boats with their 30 mm cannon. The grandfather died instantly. His grandchildren were screaming but then the boat was hit with a stinger missile and exploded...

On board the assault ship USS Inchon, General Hardy and Admiral Kidd were examining the situation...

"Sir, our gunships blasted several vessles out of the water. Looks like no one survived."
"Good, good, no telling what they were doing. How is the first wave. Is it ready to roll?"

Several other ships were behind the Assault ship. Five cruisers moved in close to shore and began blasting the shoreline with their 5 inch cannon.

On shore, the citizens fled in panic. Numerous houses were hit and fires were everywhere. The Water tower fell, the city hall was a flameing wreck. Soon, no one was alive.

Low Gap, has decided to declare war on the United States of America. Now, the USA thinks we are nothing more than rebellious regions. Take their recent attack on New York City. When the Manhattan militia launched silkworm missiles at the USS John Paul Jones, blowing that ship out of the water, The USA did not condemn the new nation, it verbally attacked the nation that sold the silkworm missiles to Manhattan. Mr. Hollings needs to get out of his imaginary world and realize that we are not going away. We join our allies to force the USA back into its box.

The Low Gap Press....

The second attack on Washington D.C. resulted in the complete destruction of the White House and Captial. Also the Justice department, the Smithsonian and the National Art Gallery were blasted also. We have heard that the United States may had lost hundreds of troops in the Red Tide attack. One wonders what is happening in The United States. Unfortunatly, President Hollings is still alive and well. We believe that one of the 5 gunships from Red Tide might had been hit. But no losses were recorded by Red Tide.

It was raining in Western Carolinia. There was a column of Tanks and other military equiptment moving along a muddy dirt road.

"General, we found them, they are about 25 miles down this road. in about 10 we can begin hitting them with our long range guns." said the Colonel.

"No, we will hold up here. lets lay a trap. Put your tanks on those driveways and in the houses if you have to. "

"Yes Sir."

The army men got out and began directing tanks and heavy guns down various drive ways. The people who use to live there had long since fled.

Two Sabra tanks moved behind some rather nice looking homes and then they smashed into the back of them. Their crews made gun ports for the tanks and then they covered their tracks. Then they waited. Overhead. Some United States gunships prowled the skies but the rain kept their instruments from seeing anything...

The wait was now on for the 1st Mount Eagle Armored division.

"See that?"
"Yeal, those are M-1 battletanks. Looks like they are pretty close to Marion the old state of Virginia."
"Well fellows it looks like the good ole US of A is about to attack us. Go out there and instruct General Thomas to move our T-90 battletanks to Bristol and hold the line. "

Their leader walked in at that moment. He was all decked out in Roman robes and rings. He looked at da map that the military men were studying.

"Ah.... Military planning. So nice so nice. Who is trying to attack us this time?"

"Looks like a line of M-1 battletanks and bradley fighting vechiles with maybe 50,000 troops moving toward Bristol."

The glorious leader leaped to his feet. He had a look of fear in his eyes.

"Why would he attack me??? My goodness gracious... gracious..." Mumbled the fearless leader.

"Sir, we are moving 150,000 of our crack men to bristol. If Hollings wants a brawel, we will give it to him."

"Wonderful General. I make you a Field Marshall. Nice NIce NIce"

The Leader looked at the map. He straitened up his robes. He got a glass of water and drank it. He looked at his sandles.

"I want to bomb him with our bombers. Can you arrange that, our Field marshall?"

"We can take out most of his tanks in a full strike. Sure"

The Leader gave a rather sickening laught and threw his glass across the room. It shattered a window.

"Full speed Marshall Full Speed. Wipe that army from the face of the earth then continue the invasion. I want WASHINGTON. I WANT WASHINGTON. Marshall be there by the middle of next week."

The leader skipped out of the room.

The new Field Marshall removed his hat and could not believe it...

As the marshall steped from the stage, 20 bombers flew over the area, headed for the United States Tank columns now fast approaching Bristol Tennessee...

Several troops from the Federation Army were slowly moving toward the Beachhead of the United States. With them were troops from LowGap and the Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic. Several bass boats with RPG launchers and small motar cannon were speeding toward the United States Lines. There must had been thousands of troops moving in that direction. Suddenly about a dozen military equipted bass boats flew into the air. Several Super Cobra gunships flew overhead spewing machine gun bullets. Several troops fired stingers back at them. 5 or 6 gunships fell into the swamps. Bodies floated everywhere. The forces continued moving on. Then, the Gunships returned. However several Soviet Gunships appeared and a major air duel took place.

4 Soviet Gunships went down, and about 12 Cobras went down. Then several Pipper cub airplanes of North Arkansas appeared and shot it out with a few Cobras. All the Pippers were shot down, but they in turn had shot down 3 more cobras.

The Men continued. Soon they were with-in 20 miles of the beachhead...

On the good roads, several tanks were moving into position. United States aircraft continued harrassing the many moving columns. But our tanks and men fired back.

Several base camps were established by Federation, Low Gap and Soviet forces in the dense jungles just outside New Orleans.

Several sapper teams were sent in to harrass the beachhead. These were flown in from Military bases near Jackson Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic and from Batton Rouge, Federation of North Arkansas.

Forces from Florence were flown down by the Florence Air Force and they took up positions very close to the United States Beachhead.

In all, the allied force had 120,000 troops, 450 Battle Tanks,(Handicapped by the marsh) 60 hydrofoils, 100 Brushboats and 120 bass boats all full of hardware. The Soviet Navy also had 2 ancient Monitors that were constantly shelling the Beachhead. The US continued fireing back in an attempt to destroy the Monitors.

The fire was very heavy at times and both Monitors were hit hard. But they kept on kicking back.

During the night, the allied navies moved in and started blasting the escorting ships and they even managed to shell the beach head.

However the United States was able to get support ships in. and the Allied navies suffered heavy damage when United States night attack fighters hit several ships.

Both sides knew a huge battle was about to be fought. Would this be the So called Second battle of New Orleans?

President Hollings was sitting under a tree near the ruins of the White House. Some men were moving in mobil homes to act as a temparoly HQ until the White House could be re-built.

Colin Powell walked over to the President.

"Who was it again that did this" demanded Hollings.
"A Breakaway group called Red Tide. We think they are somewhere in the south of Georgia and also claim the panhandle of Florida." Said Powell.

"We lost an additional 25 B-52 bombers, 10 F-18 fighters, 29 F-14 Tomcats, and several cargo planes. We also lost 14 M-60 battle tanks, 10 Bradley vehicles and 150 troops" said General Meyer

President Hollings watched the several columns of smoke drift up and over the ruined city of Washington. Several f-22 raptors were flying about on patrol as were several f-18 and in the far distance, one AWAC aircraft could be seen. HOllings wondered how they were able to repair all the radar equiptment but they must have something going on up there.

"What is taking so long down in New Orleans?" Demanded Hollings to General Meyer.
"Well, they have more naval ability than we had thought. Last night they pounded us with 4 Soyuz battleships and they also have at least 200,000 troops in and about the area infront of New Orleans."

"General. Get the job done. I don't care how you do it. Get it done. I want New Orleans by tommorow.,"

Hollings walked over to the trailer homes and went inside.

"So we are sending a large Naval force to Mobil, they are leaving from Norfolk correct?" asked Adamson.

Just then Colin Powell poked his head in and shouted

"AIR RAID get out of there"

They all ran out and into the pouring rain. In fact it was raining so hard that they could not even see the ruins of the whitehouse from the trailers.

They all ran for a small bunker that had been built along the fence.

When they entered, they found that it had so much water that it came up to their knees.

Then the sounds of muffled explosions filled the air. The explosions got closer and closer. They all got as low as they could in the flooded bunker. Then one of the Trailer homes exploded. Colin looked up and for a moment he saw a bat winged type of aircraft.

"That was the white house" Said Hollings.

It was hooked up to an Humvee and could be towed into a newly built underground bunker incase of further attacks. Which came pretty often. Where is President Hollings? After nearly meeting his maker in Virginia, no one has heard anything from the President. Many inquiries were made but none returned. Our correspondants in DC say that the area is now deserted. With the crushing defeat of our forces in New Orleans and our forces pushed out of south west Virginia. Many wonder where is the supposed victories that we were going to gain from going to war. Tonight many wonder if there is a government at all....

PResident Hollings came into the damp room. He looked like he was in a daze. The caves they were hiding in were not healthy. Katherine Harris and Colin Powell had resigned and his government was falling apart.

The President walked deeper into the caverns. He came to a large room that had several tents set up in it. The President entered a tent.

"Hollings, what have you heard about our forces" said Chaney.

"All forces in Louisana surrendered... Forces from East Tennessee maybe about to move again. We are suffering desertions by the score."
"I think you need to admitt that its finished. Sure we may land at mobil bay, but will we succeed??? And There is a huge force of Red Tide troops in South Carolina. Plus the United Nations has several more nations sending forces to the combat areas. "
"We will never give up, Never surrender. We will win and soon I can return to Washington DC." Said Hollings. He got up and went to another Tent and fell asleep.

Corporate Leader Johnson, the chief executive for Florance Road, Passed away in his sleep. He was 89 years old. The Business Executive Committee said the current military plans of the nation will not change. The Defeat of the United States is still the goal. All War Plans are on as usual.

However, the Business Executive Committee has not decided if they will select another Chief Executive Officer or will rule Florence Road themselves.

President Hollings was sitting once again in his tent, deep in some unknown cave somewhere. Almost his whole cabinet had resigned. His Chairman for the Joint CHiefs of Staff had ran off and joined the Federation of North Arkansas Army.
Hollings walked out of the tent and walked over to his general staff.

"I want you to assess the situation for me General" Said HOllings

"Well, We were totally wiped out in the Battle of New Orleans. East Tennessee continues moving troops up to the front line near Ronoake Virginia, Constant shelling is going on there all the time. We got a ton of Red Tide Heavy Tanks of some kind pushing toward our forces gathered along the border with MOunt Eagle. Our main amphibious force continues approaching Mobil Bay."

The President looked at the General Staff. The Oldest general there couldn't had been more than 29 years old.

"Except for the Carolina's and Virginia, are any Enemy forces on our soil?"
"No Sir"
"Do we not still hold Norfolk and are we still operating ships in and out of there?"
"Yes Sir."
"And Are our air bases in Ohio and Eastern Michigan still functioning? And do we still have control of Western Pennsylvania?"

"Yes Sir"

"Then I don't see what the problem is. We are not exactly winning, but we sure are not Loosing this war. THe war of the Rebellium took from 1861 to 1865. Lincoln lost Bull Run, Wilsons Creek and several other battles the first few months of the war. And yet, Lincoln re-united the nation...I order you to pull yourselves together and win this thing. Now go out and win the war" Said Hollings as he went back into his tent.

A young private was right behind him.

Looser, thought President Hollings. He threw the United Nations letter on the ground and read a report about the constant desertions from all fronts in the war...

A Rain storm was coming into Carolinia. Several men were sitting in their M1A2 tanks along the border of Mount Eagle. In the distance, lights were seen moving about. It was assumed that these were Mount Eagle and United Nations forces manouvering for attack.

IC:A tape was sent too the president Hollings.
The tape began by showing the picture of a massive twin barreled tank with a dual gattling gun tucked on its back.
"This tank is the TXL-20 OVERLORD tank. You could call it the ultimate tank."
Rolling footage taken by a spyplane of the battle for the Carolinas shows. The TXL-20s are shown easily pushing back the United States forces.
"The OVERLORD is a completely unigue tank. It was developped secretly in a top secret base by our nation. The OVERLORDs twin 180 mm cannons with thier depleted uranium shells can penetrate any modern day tank(except for another OVERLORD of coures)."

President Hollings was eating an MRE and drinking some awful tasting water. Two Generals came in. Both could not had been older than 24 years old.

"Yes?" asked Hollings.

"Sir, We lost in Carolina... Our forces have left the state."
Hollings threw his MRE across the tent.
"WHO gave the order to pull out of Carolinia? WHO I want to know WHO"
"Sir, it was a general retreat. I don't think anyone is in charge down there any more"
The President stormed out of his tent. He looked up expecting to see stars, but instead he saw the roof of the caverns, which he and the few staff he had left were hiding deep in.
"Sir, Congress has voted to make peace with the waring nations."
"What do they think they are doing? I am in charge. No peace with rebels. We will bring them all under control. If We can get our Blockade up and running and if those stupid nations overseas would stop shipping illegal weapons to them, we would win."

ONe of the generals handed the President a package.

A circling TU-200(a stealth TU-160(I designed it myself)) bombay doors fell open. The deadly bunker buster fell out a screeched towards its target. The bomb slammed into the ground and dug. Finnaly it dropped onto the cave floor. Before anyone had a chance too react the bomb went off.

In the Congress. The Senators and Congressmen receaved word that President Hollings had ordered the Congress dissolved. About that point, the Representative from Eastern Michigan called for the impeachment of President Hollings.

The Motion passed with no problem. The Senate, after hearing testimonies from disgruntled Army staff voted to remove Hollings from office.

Christopher Lang, the Speaker of the HOuse was sworn in, after Dick Chaney informed the congress that he had resigned as Vice President.

President Lang ordered all US forces in the field to stop fighting the breakaways. President Lang officially Surrendered the United States.

Representatives from The United Nations, North Arkansas, Batavian Soviet Socialist Republic, Low Gap, Folrence Road, East Tennessee, Mount Eagle, Red Tide, New England Confederation all signed the surrender document.

The United States of America surrendered today, after the crushing defeates at Roanoak, Carolinia, The Gulf of Mexica and New Orleans. Also, President Hollings was impeached and removed from office. The New president of the United States is Stephen Christopher Lang, the Former speaker of the HOuse.

These are the terms of the peace treaty.

1. The United States Reconizes all breakaways as full independent nations

2. The US Reconizes the independence of Carolinia, Georgia and Florida

3. The United States pays war debt of 2 billion dollars to the allied nations.

4. United Nations peace keeping forces will have a perminant post on the borders of the United States of America

8. IF Hollings is ever found, he is to be turned over to the Hague for war crimes.

Congressional Investigation.

1. It is a fact that Former President Hollings was hiding in deep caves in West VIrginia. He may had been 1 mile below ground

2. Red Tide launched a bunker buster, probably believeing that he was in a bunker just under the ground, instead of under a mile of solid rock

3. US Army forces reached the enterence, no military equiptment was left surviving. it was all wrecked by the explosion of the bunker buster

4. No enterence to the cave was found. Colin Powell and Dick Chaney pointed out where it was but no sign could be seen.

5. For the moment, the UN believes that Hollings, if he survived is probably entombed about 5,000 feet below the surface of West Virginia.

6. None of the survivors that got out before the bunker buster hit said they knew of any other enterence.

7. X-Ray devices say that a possiable tunnel is in place but caved in, it goes at a 45 degree angle about 3,500 feet back into the mountains, then an appearent hollow space is present. Conditions of life under there... Unknown.
