At precisely twelve o'clock noon CET (Central Eurovan Time), three Galdanian tanks devisions, numbering in total some 160
Iosep Stalin Battle Tanks, crossed the border, heading south into Northern Al-Hajadin (formerly Al-Mahariti).

They are advancing at a crawl through the foothils and mountains, but so far no Al-Hajadini soldiers have been detected.

Due to the sudden and abrupt incursion into Al-Hajadini territory, the fundementalist Islamic government of the nation likely does not even know that Galdanian tanks are twelve kilometres across the border.

Upon hearing news of the Galdanian expansion, Alvarezistan immediatly withdraws the several hundred special forces troops currently deployed (secretly, of course) in Lonisoma via unmarked transport aircraft. While not necessarily approving of the attempts at conquest, the current government cannot afford to have that many troops steamrolled, nor can it afford a conflict with Galdania at the present time.

When given the news, Ayatollah Mohummed al-Safir gave orders to send out the nation's 16 aeroplanes. They were barely capable of flying, let alone going at any useful speed. But if they managed to take down one of the Galdanian tanks, it would be worth it.

The Galdanians had starved them out of resources for years, and now they were striking once again. Before they had had reasons, but this unprovoked attack...!?

He would send a message to General Gatha in Mahaas to send out the province's 7,000 regular troops. Not that they would be able to stand against huge armoured monsters like the Galdanian tanks...but, then again, enough RPGs can blast through anything. :twisted:

Galdania is looking to take the northern Al-Hajadin province of Mahaas within one week. Mahaas comprises a third of Al-Hajadin's total land area, but half of it's fresh water. With Mahaas taken, the rest of the nation will likely fall within a matter of days.

A celackian destroyer cuts throught the black waters at night. It is silent and shoots out radar pulses every 2 minutes.

There are sixteen submarines in the area, along with two cruisers and one destroyer.

Two Fukayama Battle Copters streaked through the sky, and noticed something moving below them on the water, within Galdanian territory.
James Trump, the pilot of one of the Fukayama's sent a transmission to the Galdanian Naval Headquarters, saying that an inidentified vessel was moving closer towards Galdania's shore.

One of the copters lowered itself so that it was level with the ship, and attempted to contact the ship.

'Your vessel has violated Galdanian Territorial Waters, and is considered a danger to the People. Identify yourselves so that you can be escourted out of Galdanian Territory. Failure to do so will result in ceasure and possible destruction and/or damage to your vessel.'

Anyways about my destroyer.

IC. suddenly 2 AAM2s fly out of the horizon each launching it's full compliment of seeker missles at the enemy helicopters.(8 each) The anti-aircraft chainguns on the deck of the destoryer open fire on the helicopters as soon as the planes arrive.

Meanwhile

The two heliocopters were instantly destroyed as the missiles blew them apart.

Beneath the waves, four subs fired their Skavniachkya-002 Torpedos atr the destroyer, while another submarine, farther away, launched it's anti-air NAV missiles at oncoming planes.

Galdanian Naval Command is on full alert. The beaches are still covered in barbed wire and mines from the old Grunge-France wars. Plaques at old machine gun nests overloooking the dunes are removed, so that men may operate them once again.

I.C. the destroyer was hit with all four torpedoes. The captain told the crew of their fate. one of the chaingunners stood on the deck and started singing

One of tha AAM2s was hit and exploded. the other managed to usehis countermessures but the explosion was to close and it sent it into a dive intot he ocean. The pilot managed to escpae the cockpit and climbed into one of the lifeboats from the destroyer.

Planes are being launched. A state of Emergency is declared by the Queen. Posts of soldiers are doubled (soldiers are posted on every urban street in the country), and anti-air weapons (some of the most numerous in the world) are to be readied for use.

The artillary is from the city. You know, the city is practically ON the shore...that's why the barrage killed so many people.

If it's on the shore and it go so many civilian casualties it would be resonable to assume the artilelry was destriye because that si what we were aiming for as well as the barricades.

Well, the entire city wasn't destroyed, ya' know, only a few hundred people on the honeymoon sea-side area. The artillary is from actually like downtown Nanilovsk.

Well, a few of the coastal fishing blocks and ships, yeah. Oh, and most of the raw caviar refineries in the entire Galdania (seriously, that'll put a dent in the economy).

around 100 men are killed in the unexpected barrage at first the remaining jumping to the jeeps,tanks or the trucks and starts heading towards the city at such a rate that the artillery couldn't hit them arcuratly. They are firing their chaingugns into the crowd of enemy soliders.

the jeeps have 1 chaingun turret while the tanks have 6 foward facing machine guns. The trucks ahve side flaps which 10 people can shoot out of. 3 of the jeep have people with rockets launchers in them.

10 per tank times 3 tanks=30
20 per trucks times 10 trucks = 200
minus 100 dead= 100

3000-390=19610 troops left on the beach firing into the crowd of enemy people.

Over 140 Blue Valkyrie Lancer Dual Zthony Engine planes zipped out of Nanilovsk, heading towards the ships leaving the beach.

Several submarines crawled beneath the waves off the coast. Suddenly, they surfaced for a moment, launching multiple salvos of NAK missiles, aimed at any enemy forces not yet enaged with the Galdanians.

OOC: The subs don't rely too much on torpedoes. They normally surface to use their NAK missiles that fly into the air and come back down to their targets.

IC: 119 Blue Valkyries entered the dogfight, as Galdanian long-range artillary and missiles were fired from within the city at any enemy targets within their reach. 76,000 more men left the city to enter the fray, which was metres away from the first apartement buildings of the city. Many men positioned themselves within the the buildings, firing off aimed shots and mortars at the enemy. 58 heliocopters began patrolling the beaches, attempting to mow down enemy infantry, while attempting to fire missiles at closing enemy vessels.
