Lunar Institute of Astronomy (LIA)
The Colony of Tranquility Shores has founded the Lunar Institute for Astronomy. Lacking any atmospheric interface or distortion, the moon is perfectly astronomy. The observatories and remote operated telescopes will help astronomers to observe deeper in the universe. Initially the institute plans only to establishment of small astronomical observatories and mobile platforms.

The Crater Radio Observatory is currently the largest facility of the LIA, a powerful radio telescope dish constructed in a small crater along with enhanced sensors scanning the stars.

Several types mobile telescopes are part of the LIA inventory, a long with stationary observatories, in order to allow for great flexibility in research and easy of maintain.

Well thats a waste of time seeing ive taken out your moon fool

You took out his moon? What the hell with and if thats earths moon people ain't gonna be very happy myself for one i had cadets up there learning about space combat.

500, 13-17 year olds were there.

To Zaibock (OOC):
May we inquire in to claim of lunar destruction, the reasons and weapon system used. The Earth’s moon is a rather large object, so I’m curious on how this was achieved.

To Saint Anger:
Would you be interested in a joint-defense training program? Tranquility Shores, being new outpost, will need a defense force capable of operating in the harsh environment and low gravity of the moon. See that you have already developed an outpost and training program to achieve this, would we be able to send troops to your facilities. We would be willing to provide reasonable compensation, and are open to other possible terms.

Last we checked, the moon, in an amazing amount of self-motivation for a planetoid, dodged the blast that Zaibock's fleet had fired at it.

Xexo applauds Sierra Pampa for the completion of the base, and we hope to see future achievements like this in the future.

Many in Wazzu also wonder how and when this was accomplished considering that our colony of Wazzu Asgard is still intact in the ISAF Lunar Region, and still orbiting the Earth.

Others in Wazzu are wondering where Zaibock is hiding his great stash so they might get at it.

Meanwhile, we in the government of Wazzu fully support this observationary outpost.

OOC: If you want to build up a colony, the ISAF Lunar Region is a pretty small but also pretty safe place to join. It is quite quiet.

That would be a great step, I have already began deep space exploration on a small scale and i use the moon to teach young cadets and to adjust marines and other personnel to the rigors of space.
Our facilities are very spacious and are quite unlike a millitary training camp more liek a hotel, yet we do have the obvious ranges for testin space weapons a landing pad and strips for space crafts and also many labs and testing facilities.

We would feel honoured if you felt the need to send your personnel to our facility, we are freeing 2, 500 places at the moment due to a new Voyager mission to delve deeper into the unknown.

Yours Sincerely

Miss. Caddabra

To Xeno and Wazzu: thank you for your support.

To Saint Anger: Sierra Pampa will send 2000 troops and Tranquility Shores will send 500. We look forward to seeing our first corps of space borne troops graduate.

Sierra Pampa, I have recieved your troops and training is as follows

Phase 1 -

BSMT

(Basic Space Marine Training)

This will include discipline, weapon firing, spacecraft (not flying but such as the ground troops use field craft), also they will learn how to fly a small craft and gain liscense.

Phase 2 -

ASMT or Trade Training

(Advanced Space Marine Training)

The cadets/soldiers learn how to be an elite fighting force in space, how to survive on barly habitable planets and increase fitness. Also liscense goes on to a heavier class of space vessel. This is a far more advanced version of Phase 1 but Phase 1 must be comp[leted for Phase 2 to start.

Trade Training

Soldiers learn to use radios, intercept frequencies etc (I will dispactch your 2000 men over a variety of trades and the 500 men over the same)
Includes;
IT/Comms, Combat and Specialist.

Once completed the soldier will become a full Space marine with a NCO rank dependant on scores over the Phase testing and also apptitude testing and physcial testing undertaking before, during and after training.

If you would like officers included then I will place the best men forward to take a few longer and harder apptitude/leadership/mental and physicall testing.

They will then carry out an officer course.

TG me for more info

Sierra Pampa and our colony of Tranquility Shores are impressed with your training program, and look for to our trained troops. Please follow through with selecting and training those acceptable for the officer corps, what are good troops for without good leaders.

Your men will be ocmpleeting the basic in a few more days (RL a few hours).
I will update you as we go.
(ooc:do you have any names generaly found in your nations so i can send you a command chain list.

Culturally Sierra Pampa is a mixture of Pacific/Caribbean islanders and Spanish, along with Dutch, Germany and English. A former colony that changed colonial administration over time, a little WEIRD but lots of fun! Nothing like an Oktoberfest with luau serve up some tacos!
