Second Colossus Under Construction!

The Duke Solomon Klonor slowly approaches the podium. Once there he takes a sip of water and clears his throat (he's been a bit phlegmy lately) as he begins to speak.
"This is a message to the citizens of Klonor Empire, and to all members of the Galactic Alliance. For so long we have been protected by the Colossus. It has been our shield, our guardian against the darkness. Yet I wonder, what of the rest of the civilized worlds? Where is their Great Defender? They each have their own fleets, and those fleets are indeed powerful (many are more powerful than our own), yet they lack a flame. They lack a ship to hoist upon their shoulders. So, on this day, the Galactic Alliance shipyards in Ross128 have begun construction on an even more powerful version of the Colossus.

The Duke turns and walks off to the cheers of the Klonor audience.

"Okay, here's the info. With the entire GA working on it, it should only take about 10 years to finish, not the 20 that ours took. it will still use entirely klonor eaponry, but that weaponry will be updated with all the tech that's been donated. It will, like all GA ships, be crewed and stocked by all GA members, so don't feel that the GA is just building a ship for me. We have here an image of what the second Colossus will most likely look like.

What about plans, will your fiercly guarded construction techs and scematics be distrubuted across our alliance, that we may help with construction?
Sorry, but our military commanders are a bit to paranoid. They will be given to the construction companies and crew at the shipyard so that they can build it, but the schematics will not be distributed on a large scale.

But does that not technically mean you are breaching the contract you yourself wrote?

no, the contract allows for ships plans to be held by thier respective nations. But construction techs , medical, weapons, ect. must be didstributed.
My above post was to Jim, not the Mindset.
Mindset, the Article that you are quoting states that technology developed after joining the Alliance is shared. The Article before that one states that any technology developed beforehand is the property of its creators and is shared only at their will.
I agree with Jim, there should be a bar.

Our flag ship or flame is the fully upgraded customised super destroyer or reaper class destroyer the "War God" it houses everytype of weapon that is used by our star ships including the very powerful and sacred destroyer cannon.

The plans dictate a Jimathon Ministar Engine. With such a massive increase in the power of the weaponry anything less wouldn't suffice.

Hmmm...can we get some estimated stats?
Im not sure how long it is, but a Piledriver class is 25 miles I belive.
The Colossus is only 6.5 kilometer long. Ships 25 miles long are pointless. There is no need for them to be that big, and such a massive size causes more problems than solutions.
If you'd like more info, view my ship thread. The Colossus there has all the same stats as this one, just with this one everything is more powerful.

I know 6 km long is huge, it's just that others have ships that are so big they actually defy the laws of physics. A person once had a 50 mile long ship. A ship with that much mass would tear itself in hald under the strain of even the slightest change in direction. The Colossus is huge, but it's tiny compared to some others (although it rivals, if not surpasses them in firepower)
Now, when did you join the GA? I have a dim recollection of it happening, but I don't see you on the member list. Do you remember the page where you applied? If not, you'll have to apply again (sorry)
