Zapado, you are screwed. You attacked some place for no real reason except to spread communism. Your nation is not even communist! How about your lead a revolution in your own country before you try to fix other countries?

Zapado, just withdraw your troops from Afganistan. You are clearly outnumbered, why would you continue to have them there? I see no reason to. If you do that, the other, larger nations, will not be pressing you militarily. Yes, I guess I am acting as the peace keeping country.

Chellian military officials have been dis-appearing to afghanistan with truckloads of weapons; Chellis has made no apparent effort, or noticably strong one, to stop this, as the afghans are paying for them...at price

I must say that in order to spread "communism" you must be a communist yourself. This is, at least have a communist country.

The Empire of Akilliam is fully prepared to endorse and back - with military force - Afghanistan. We will not tolerate this aggressive action - one clearly motivated by blind ignorance. If the invading forces will not back down, force will be used. Extreme force.

Haha, I was agreeing with you! I was saying that he was not a communist. And, behind the computer, this is Soviet Democracy, just a country that I like to screw with. So, I am putting this one into the battle. I am a communist, and I do not support what Zapado is doing.

OOC: A few points:

1: The Soviets invaded Afghanistan, circa late 70s, early 80s. I do believe Zapado is trying to replay the history.

2: Afghanistan is a landlocked nation, nowhere near water. Submarines and gunboats would not even get close.

Bloody hell. I will send what I can, but all I have is a peace time army since most of my money is going towards a nation that I purchased.
09-09-2003, 07:43
ooc: Afghanistan was a beautiful, beautiful conflict. They're up there with the Boers as extremely fanatical fighters. That and we got really cool pictures of the Hind flying around and blowing stuff up, and in turn, being blown up by Stingers.

On a side note, has anyone ever played Battlefield 1942 with the Desert Combat patch? If there's one vehicle I love more than the M1A1 it is the Hind. Such a beautiful, deadly, helicopter. Can't maneuver worth a damn in real life and is seriously underpowered, but eh.

i was actually sending the subs to blockade the attacking nation...(ooc: if they are landlocked  ) I will recall the gunboats though

ooc: Most people don't know - or care - where Afghanistan is, or that it is landlocked. The Soviets were only making a bid for Pakistan and a warm water port - bless them, they've never had one - and they got the murph put on them.

But really, Afghanistan has been a backwater nation forever. Great Britain and Russia fought in the area extensively, but aside from that and recent activities, it's just another lump on a map.

Where the heck did Zapado go to? Whats going on with his invasion force, is he winning or losing...So, is their any way I can infuse new life in the hostilities going on in the middle east? I just love a good war from time to time, even when its so far away from me. I think I should commit some of my forces to wich ever side is losing (just to be fair), then turn on CNN and watch the fun.

Dear leader of Zapado. Derto's interrest in this issue is very little, but we do NOT like futile wars that will not achive(sp?) anything.
So please, pull back your forces and I surely believe that all the other nations that have teamed up on you will back down.
