Rushelia Plants for sale--medicinal, over-stocked

08-09-2003, 17:55
While very carefully drilling for oil on the edge of one of our national forrests, making all precautions to disturb as little as possible of the natural environment, an abundance of spidely, red, six-pettled flowers were discovered growing around the bases of some of our hard-wood trees. Six months of careful research and testing shows that these Rushelia Plants (named after the woman who discovered them) contain remarkable medicinal properties.

So far we have found them to be instrumental in increasing neuron activity in brain-damaged patients, targeting and destroying skin cancers when crushed and applied on the outside of the body, speeding the recovery of many psychiatric patients, increasing movement of severly arthritic joints, protection and healing from the damaging effects of the sun (when applied in a deluted form), restoring tooth enamal and fighting off gum-rot, and for lowering blood pressure.

The scientific field anticipates many more discoveries and uses for this product in the future and has currently constructed nearly 200 green-houses for the sole purpose of cultivating this miracle plant so that we will not need to harvest them from our forrests. The difficulty is that now, exposed to more sunlight, the plants which grew to about seven inches in height in their natural environment are now growing to 28 inches. Needless to say, their petels, stalks, leaves, and root systems have nearly quadrupled. Currently we do not need such an excess of plants and we are willing to sell them to the scientific communities in other countries.

Price listing:
one to four plants--150 pallus' each
five to eight plants-- 130 pallus' each
nine to twelve plants--120 pallus' each
ammounts above twelve--110 pallus' each

After travel and transplanting, these plants fall into a state of dormant growth for about two months before growing rapidly again. For the sake of genetic integrity, the scientists of Xairaw are highly recomending purchases of at least nine plants if the purchasers plan to use them en-masse for research an application. Also suggested is that the purchasers retain them in a green-house to retain their pollen and spreading abilities as its affects on soils, plant- and animal- life in other countries is unknown.

All parts of the plant are useable.

We do not know how many Credits equal a pallus', but we are willing to pay +C5,000 for eight plants for our research.

We fancy having many, many of these plants.

How many do you have, and could we breed some to live in our country?

same here.

According to our current rate of exchange, we will require 5,200 Credits for all eight plants. Would this be acceptable?

Freedom Country and United Elias,
We currently have around 17,000 plants available for purchase. If you are interested in purchasing a large number of plants, Xairaw is willing to consider a more bulk-friendly price range.
Breeding them outside of a green-house type environment is inadvisable at this point because we are unaware of how they might affect other eco-systems. They are some-what fragile after travel and transplanting, but once they are settled they tend to be mildly agressive, similar in nature to the dandelion. This is controlable if they grow in shaded areas, but if they have consistent content with direct sunlight they grow in excess of 28 inches, which, outside of a green house, might give environmentalists some headaches.
By the way, thus far they have responded well to hand-pollenation.

Zimo-Sierra Institute for Agronomics would like to order 1,000 Rushelia Plants. Based on the prior exchanges, we are estimating the cost to be around 110,000 pallus, half will be transferred now and the remaining upon delievery.

After much debate we believe that it will be in the best interests of the BItelandic people to purchase 200 Rushelia Plants which should come to 22,000 pallus we will pay 55% know and the rest on successful delivery.

We are currently hand-selecting plants for delivery to Wazzu, but we require part of your 2,200 pallus payment in advance. Thank-you for your interest in purchase. Also, we would be very interested in knowing what you discover about these plants onboard an International Space Station. Xairaw has a limited, indirect access to space-related projects. In return for sharing information, the scientists of Xairaw would be willing to send a full report on their experiments on Rushelia seeds over the next 12 months.

Thank-you for purchasing. 55,000 pallus were received this morning. We are hand-delivering your plants in groups of 50, subdivided into groups of 10, in order to help ensure quality. These plants will arrive in varried numbers over a period of several days. We will expect complete payment for each plant as they arrive in good condition. Thank-you.

Thank-you for your purchase. Your money was late this morning. We will begin selection of your plants before noon tomarrow and will send them to you in groups of 50, subdivided into groups of ten. They will probably arrive in 2-4 shipments. Thank-you.

Remaining funds transferred. Zimo-Sierra would be interested if a field research station could be setup near your national forest. See that the Rushelia plant has gone unnoticed; there could be other plant life that could benefit to mankind.
Sierra Pampa would fund the construction of the field research station, provide 35 scientist and support personal (about half of the station’s staff) and all necessary research equipment; for equal access and exchange of the research data, discoveries and samples.

If we get our hands on this plant, we may have completed the Phoenix Project, and the perfect cure-all will be ours!

We will buy as many of these plants as you are willing to sell. We have near a Quadrillion (yes, that's a real number) Dollars, so money is not an issue.

After considering your offer in this morning's State-Heads meeting, Xairaw has decided that it is very interested in your offer provided that you are willing to be a passive ally, refusing supply to our potential political enemies, though we would not request you to join arms with us at this time if you do not wish. The passive alliance would be for security reasons so that we can be assured that your presence here would not risk the safety of our citizens or government.
We discussed your suggestion with some highly valued scientists who have been researching these plants, and they were quite intrigued and excited about it. It would be a great help to us to have an international scientific team as your perspectives would likely enhance our research three-fold.

Thank-you.

Xairaw is interested in information regarding your Phoenix Project. We are willing to sell up to 6,000 plants to a single buyer, provided that if you do complete this cure-all that you would sell it to us at a significantly reduced rate if we decide to buy. Thank-you for your interest.

A non-aggression treaty with security controls over Rushelia research is acceptable. We hope, of cause, you’ll will keep us informed on any nations that we will be unable to share, trade and/or sale to in a timely fashion.
Sierra Pampa’s scientific staff, while reporting regularly to Zimo-Sierra Institute, will be under you country’s control for the duration of their stay. Hopefully this will alleviate any security concerns.

Xairaw would like to thank you for your understanding about our security concerns and for your willingness to work with us. You will be informed as far in advance as possible about nations which we consider threats. As of this time there is only one country that is causing us concern, but currently we do not consider them dangerous. We will keep you updated about that situation as we are able.
One of my allies, the Queendom of Tirislean, is also highly interested in researching this plant and perhaps making its medicinal properties more available to the under-privalaged. Would it be acceptable to you to work along side this nation as well?

Sorry about my lateness in replying, but we have built great greenhouses capable of housing these plants.

We require 100 to get us going.
