Sakkran colonists head for Titan! (pic)
Having been accepted into the Triumvirate of Yut, we have been given the go-ahead for establishing a presence there. A small fleet of Heavy Transports have been modified and fitted with colonization pods, and are on their way.

These pods are intended for the purpose of landing at the site for colonization, and then being dismantled and stripped. It is then that residences, power facilities and hydroponic farms will be built, as well as construction facilities.
Several teams have already made their way to the Titan system, and are scouting about for the most likely areas to start development.
It has been decided that the government that will be formed will be a parliamentary democracy led by House Leader Stheet. It will have sub-branches into Transportation, Trade, Defense and Commerce to name a few, but will ultimately be a centralized government. The colonists will be able to elect public officials, and elections for House Leader will occur every 15 years.

Scout crafts have reported back that the moons Europa or Ganymede would serve our purposes well. They are currently broadcasting on wide-band radio to the moons to see if there is already a civilization present.

OOC: This is where any nations present on either moon in the TofY let me know if they're already there or not.
It appears that there is a civilization or two already upon the moons Ganymede and Europa, but there is an unclaimed stretch of land on Titan proper. THis has been relayed to the scouting craft, and sent to the colony ships.
The transports bearing the colony pod drones will establish orbit around Titan. The drone pods will then detach, and land in the unclaimed areas. It appears to already be terraformed, and ready for colonization. After the drones land, remote robots in each drone will begin dismantling the pods for use in colony structures. The Fusion Engine banks will be used to power the colony, the metals and plastics will go towards structure building, and electronic components will be used for communications and the like.

(OOC: Ummm...Sakkra, you're looking at the wrong system if you're asking about the moons of Saturn. Ganymede and Europa are both Jovian satellites.)
OOC: Oops. Indeed I am. Got confused since the Jovian Satellites were listed right beneath Titan.

Ex-claimed, actually. The Dominion of LaRhiannon disappeared some time back. Some structures still remain, and our archaeologists are trying to piece together what happened... and learn more about reality-breakage.
We'll be waiting on-site for the first colonists with a few casks of our finest wine and other varied refreshments to greet our new friends to Titan. The region is quite verdant, and actually a decent tourist location. From what I've heard of Sakkra, you should enjoy it.

The clonoization pod drones have been dismantled, and the material is ready to be used for construction. 6 sites have been designated as our prime population centers, with one of them being our Capitol. The names were drawn from our legendary figures of ancient tales.
Ssreea, who was our first Artisan of recorded history. She showed us how to work metals and forge alloys for desired traits.
Thaash, who was our greatest naval vessel pilot. Managed to initiate contact with early hu-man civilizations.
Llhaabra, who was the first to organize the Ancient Tales into a book form, and keep our written language intact. As such, he is known as the Great Scholar.
Shauu, who was the earliest known to teach us how to domesticate the Resin Beetle, whom we have a nearly symbiotic relationship with now.
Rooazaa, the Cleric. This mysterious figure has formed the order of Rhagg, our religious sect. Very little is known of this historical entity, aside from fantastic tales spun by Zealots. But their vows of blindness have given them insight of other means.
Our capitol will be named Pakaa, who was the first to lead us out of the Caverns, and showed us what it would take to rejoin the civilized world in trade and commerce. It is here our spaceport will be located.
Monitor class shuttles will be ferrying the colonists from the transport fleet to the surface of Titan for some time.
