looking for russian carrier battle group?
I am looking for a nation to sell me with the core elements of a russian carrier battle group-this will be a huge contract and will provide trade for years to come. It would no doubt hugely benefit any nations GDP.

Nope - no need. The USSR already occupied 1/6 of the entire surface of the planet lol.
But there were many projects for Carriers.
Tragically, with the fall of the USSR, Russia doesnt have enough money to produce the carriers...
And its a pity, the Ulyanovsk Class is more than promising... :cry:

what about the KIEVs, they had about 4-5 didn't they.
With VTOL aircraft too, designed for sub defence.

I used Ulyanovsks for a while... now I have 110 plane careriers called Yekaterinburgs.
One of those for $4 bil, a Korsar [Nestrashimy with 12 Yakhonts basically] for $210 mil, Oscar 3 attacl sub for $1 bil (24 Yakhont's carried, and it uses SHkval II, other than that its like Oscar II).
KIEVs are large, shoulda said Nimitz size carriers.
A kiev is like a flattopped cruiser or a wasp.
Its like a Wasp in terms of aircraft but it also have some SS-N-12 missiles.
