The Incorporated States of Mushroomius today achieved a watershed event, the first Mushroomiun craft was propelled faster than the substance we know as light. While this event is most insignificant as compared with the technology of other nations, it is most important for those of us struggling to achieve cheap and dependable space fleets.
A simple metaphor would clarify this. Some nations are sailing through space, having several ton galleons with broadside cannons. Nations such as this one, however, are still "rafting" through space.
I implore nations of this technological status to join that which I am about to propose. A new realm awaits us, with thousands of worlds such as ours orbiting stars such as ours. We can expect that it will be a long road to a perfect society, but we can start. I propose and alliance, an alliance of nations.
For trade, so that all member nations can equally prosper in the stars.
For defense, so that all member nations are not threatened by a potential danger.
For exploration, so that all member nations may not lose their human desire to endeavor, and to question.
For science, so that all member nations may help build a more perfect society.
And lastly, for peace, so that all member nations may exist in state of harmony with our stellar neighbors.
Should you be at a technological state of using rockets to blast off from our ruthless gravitational limits, consider joining this alliance. The technology recently tested to send a ship faster-than-light will be available upon joining.
The possibilities are endless, if only we work as a team.
