General Montgomery says more will be on the way soon. The major refinement in weaponry is due to a possible offensive against fellow nations, possibly including Vichy France.

Nice equipment, but we prefer different items, except for the colt, which we have plenty of...

Much fretting over the advanced state of Spencertopian weaponry. Critics were assured that any holes in Iansisle's armory could be filled with the addition of weapons purchased from Walmington on Sea, and that the M74B .303 rifle was still just about the best in the world. Certain elements were, however, interested in the state of Spencertopian naval and flying military technology.

Similar thoughts eminate from Walmington. Further more is the basic pondering- are they goodies, or baddies? :)

(And yeah Iansisle, I think we can do at least something to help- the Fox, our first sub machinegun is based on the Austen, which is the Aussie version of the Sten, so it costs less than a fiver, Walmy money, per unit (making it possibly even several times cheaper than a (arguably superior) German SMG) so we can fling them at you by the thousand- and it'd be quite easy for a nation with your industrial base to copy it/make a better (or still cheaper?) version of it if you wanted.
Our main rifle however is certainly inferior to your M74B, and I'm in two minds about an upgrade (I'd get a SMLE rip-off for sure, except that it'll be obsolete too quite quickly post war if I advance, so I might stick with the Camfir).. If Spencertopia is to issue the M9 as its standard infantry weapon, mind, our troops would pick them off from far outside their effective range. Unless they have an unusually high ratio of those LMGs in support, I suppose)

(wow, you know naval weaponry is my favorite? I'm honored :))

Many chins were stroked in the Ministry of War as news about Spencertopia's aeroforces was shown. While it was agreed that Iansisle's MPAF series of fighter craft was for the most part superior to their counterparts, the very heavy loads of Spencertopian bombers caused for the MoW to call for a native Iansislean heavy bomber design capable of delivering at least 15,000 pounds of bombs - more than triple the current BAF-1 "Blinder"'s capacity.

Was it to-day or yesterday that I stated my awareness that certain piston engine fighters could carry larger payloads than WoS's Barrow bomber? Heh, case in point! The Razor beats us.

The Defence Ministry wondered two things: how far could those bombers range, and where was Spencertopia?

I started designing a heavy bomber (just last night) but then I couldn't decide if I should draw my own and look for webspace to host it from (fun..then hassle) or if I should just stick to lifting pictures of real efforts.

[sigh] Poor old Walmington. Outclassed again. [kicks MFMkII Wren, putting his foot through the fighter]

(Aw...I'm sure Tarriff would be happy to address that little problem ;)

Iansisle plans to start large scale production of MPAF-5s and -6s for export and delivery to the European theatre. I'm going to put the MPAF-7 project on the shelf for now, as large numbers of current generation aeroflyers are needed more than small numbers of next-generation ones. Also, rumors that Iansisle will scrap HIMS Diomedes while stepping up MAFD and destroyer production are currently unfounded....in the way that they're not really unfounded at all ;))

EDIT: And I bet I could kick a hole through a Shell-Westerton Armored Car :)
