"The Tilsitsinian Foreign Office wishes to announce, on behalf of the government of Tilsitsin, the law governing forign policy within the country.
Due to the latest string of international events leading up to near nuclear war (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=68682&start=0), the Tilsitsinian National Congress near-unanimously passed into constitutional law the following ammendment:
Section XVIII: The Tilsitsinian Armed Forces are to be henceforce known as the Tilsitsinian Defense Forces, and as such all Tilsitsinian defense forces branches are hereby bound by law to only be permitted to act in anger within the confines of Tilsitsinian territory, or in such a situation when the lives of citizens, or the direct home territory of a nation allied directly with Tilsitsin is threatened.
Under no other circumstances may this law be infringed upon, with the only force being exept to this law being foreign troops fighting under the Tilsitsinian flag.
This is a monumental policy change for this country, as previously Tilsitsinian troops were at the front of several high-profile foreign peacekeeping deployments. The Tilsitsinian government is also considering disolving ties with the united nations, but this topic is still under discussion in the congress."
