It would likely take time to get things established (and this issue buggers your enviroment for minimal economic values)

On recieveing the issue your government is just receiving info that there is a deposit but with minimal details.
following government approval a full geological survey of the deposit is required, this will likely take 1-5years (we'll take 2 as an example)
once the survey is completed and the requirements for exploitation are defined you will then need to cosntruct the infrastructure to support the mining say another year or 2 (depending on where the deposit is and what terrain you need to put roads and rails through etc) with major processing facilities taking upto 5 years.
Then mining will liekly take about 6months to a year to reach a decent level of output so over all before you can even condier producing any uranium you have to let 8 years pass (about 8 days RL)

As to prices raw uranium is about $11-12 per pound or $20-24 per kg on the RL market.
