Well, everyone else has done one of these, looks like its my turn.
First off, for those of you who have interacted with me for quite a while, you may be sad to hear the Imitora Colonial Marine Corps is no more. Sure, we have colonies, but no need for a colonial military. In its stead are two new braches, The Imitora Defence Force (IDF), and The Imitora Military College. Dont be fooled by the name, the military college is the actual over seas fighting force of the Imitora Military. Both consist of 300,000 active duty combat soldiers. However, while the Imitora Military College is consisted of two 150,000 divisions, the Imitora Defence Force (which can opperate outside of Imitora) is made up of three 100,000 strong divisons.
Furthermore, two Special Operations and Tactics Units exist, the Silver Operations Wing (Usually operate foriegnly) and the Gold Operations Wing (Usually Operate in Imitora). The Gold Operations Wing is 1,500 strong, and is made up of the ARU (Armed Respons Unit, more than SWAT)[500 Strong] and the SAINTs (Special Actions INter Territorial)[500 Strong]. The Remaining 500 are part of the many 'recruiters' in the Imitora Military. The Silver Operations Wing currently consists only of the 69th Assault Regiment (The Fighting 69th), and actuall numebrs are unknown.
The Grunt
The standard unit in which any military is measeured is the foot soldier. The average foot soldier, grunt, troop, whatever you chose, is the backbone of the military. The everyday soldier in the Imitora Military (IMC or IDI) is kitted out with the basic BDUs, Kevlar Vest (with steel insert), Load Bearing Equipment, helmet or hat of some sort, and CAR-21 Rifle [Memebers of the Fighting 69th are equiped with a CAR-22, a newer infantry rifle]. The ARU[/b[
The ARU, or Armed Response Unit can operate as a civilian (SWAT) unit or a military (Akin to Rangers) unit. Each member of this 500 Strong unit is armed with his or her choice of the CAR-21, CAR-25, or when they are realesed, the CAR-22 and CAR-26. Trained to operate best in an Urban setting, they can operate equally in an more isolated (desert or forest) setting with minimal kit changes. Shown is an ARU soldier and a CAR-26 Rifle
