My name is Emperor Edward Mikhail Romanov, and I am a member of the Lake Erie Tropical Islands, as of late, Sketch has been assuming the role of "Gaurdian" of our region, or basicly supporting two nations in our region, while basicly saying, Listen to these two or else...... I know that you where going to take on sketch before, and anyhelp that you could give us would be greatly appreciated. He is in our region under the false guise of promoting peace, but does nothing when issues arise, except of course when it benifets him or his two allies. If you could help us, the other nations in our region would be forever indebted to you and your allies.

Upon reciving this plea for help, the Federation of Crimson Blades has felt obliged to help. So we now wish for the nation known as Sketch, to come forth and open up Diplomatic talks so our two regions may live forever in peace and prosperity. But note, the U.O.H.N. will not accept any hostile actions from Sketch. and let it be known that if the opposing party should happen to launch an offensive attack or invasion, the U.O.H.N., now over 65 member nations strong, will defend the Lake Erie Tropical Islands using whatever force nessisary.

The only defending LETI needs is from edenstein. Hes committed every first agressor act in ALL wars in LETI history. As for sketch.. he dosent speak till yet another hostile act has been made in the region. So saying he stays out of LETI affairs till things once again are pushed to a state of hostility. Should any proof of these statements be needed look in the forum yourself. You'll note the last act of hostility by edenstein and viert reich... moving in troops to annex land that was owned (and still is) by of the council of the clan. Note no declaration of permanent movement out of the region was made by council of the clans.Sketches presence started in the region as an ally in a war against the council, when NBC's were launched, it was a 7v2 gangbang, and it was an Anti UN war.. COC isnt a UN nation, and the only UN nation involved in the war was land of eric that suffered little to no damage. I suggest that you read up in the LETI international forum, ask Council and sketch about the nature o their alliance and look into sketches actual actions in the thread. You'll soon see that hes doing nothing more then ceasing hostilities in the region, and for some reason Edenstein is so worked up because he cant start a war with council. Hopefully you find this information informative and that it dosent fall on deaf ears.

The Dominion of Sketch has done nothing to deserve this unwarrented smear on our good name. No such hostilities has been comitted, nor will any be necessary, if Edenstein remains out of our allies' territories.

A careful review of our actions in the Lake Erie Tropical region would show that we have comitted forces towards defensive action only. Our assistence was requested during a period of strife and we responded in the name of justice. We were later asked to remain as an assurance against future hostilities. Since them we have withdrawn the majority of our forces from the region, leaving only a small contingent of military personnel. Until such a time has come when our allies are no longer threatened by the imperialistic actions of the rest of the nations in this region, we will continue to maintain a presence.

We are more than willing to discuss the issue on diplomatic terms, given that Edenstein ceases all hostilities towards our allies in the region.

We also do not take kindly to idle threats made by nations who do not fully grasp the situation. However, we are willing to over look that this time, seeing as how we are both part of the Dominion.

The nation of Henceland Omega wishes to bring forth some important points to consider during these talks. Let me begin by saying that we wer involved in the conflict on the side of Edenstein. I admit our side made some hasty and wrong decisions without first thinking of the consequences. When Sketch entered the war to defend CoC, we accepted it for what it was- an ally entering to aid an outnumbered nation. However, at the end of the war, Sketch appeared to be interested more showing of their might and power by occupying all the nations, and refusing to leave the region for quite some time.

Since the original war, there have been some other disputes throughout the region, such as the brief almost-war with VR (which CoC planned and started, although ED and HO being closer made the first moves), the war between DPM and UPS, and the non-aggressive occupation of lands that had been recently vacated by CoC, which had been vowed to stay abandoned. All of these conflicts have been resolved peacefully, without the need for outside interference, and that is what we wish to have in LETI. We have asked Sketch repeatedly to pull out, and he has not given us any indication as to why they remain aside from "protecting LETI."

We do not feel 'protected.' We feel intimidated...

For the record...

The actual troubles in our region started way back in its formation, which you won't be able to find since our actual forum was created quite a while afterwards, Land-O-Eric moved military forces to my border and CoC Committed troops as well.

The first hostile act in the region was by Theocracy of El Poopsmith, who launched an Air Strike against Land-O-Eric. L-O-E launched a counter attack and Then Clans moved a carrier group in to El Poopsmith's waters. This isn't cronciled in the forum because it didn't exist yet. It was done on the in house forum. This was construed as a hostile action so we took action, that is why it was 7v2, But this fact is never mentioned because CoC often forgets about it and DPM wasn't in the region at that point. Afterwards, I wasn't the one that fired the first shot, It was Crippleslavania that attacked first, and other nations followed suit, including my nation. The reason there is a 7 Nation Alliance is becuase in the before mentioned moving of hostilities, about 5 or 6 nations stepped up on the side of Clans and Eric, but eventualy they either withdrew their support or ceased to be.

Sketch came in after a few days of war and said, Paraphrasing "I'm giving Clans a lot of Military equipment and he can do with it what he wants" And keep in mind before The announced treaty between them, I ceased hostilities. Another fact that is lost on these three nations.

The Next Conflict in the region, DPM vs The UPS, This was only a "RP" war but it was one none the less...

The Next Conflict in the region was Viert Reich invadin Freedom Peoples, which I gave them an ultimatum to get out of the country or I would remove them.

The Conflict after that, which was championed by CoC was a 3 way attack on Viert Reich. Clans was worried that VR had instantly become to powerful with some equipment that they purchased and then he garnered support from HO and Edenstein. After one volly of attacks (Which btw caused no damage, and CoC actualy went back into his post and changed "2000 lb Laser Guided munitions to, Laser Guided munitions" to avoid any sticky situations.)

Shortly after this a Treaty was signed with Sketch and DPM for defence, when no hostile actions where ever committed towards DPM. But this message was broadcast in forums.

In the eyes of Us, we belive this to be more of a hostile threat/action towards all the nations of Leti more then the supposed threat Edenstein poses.

After this CoC, various puppet nations of CoC, and Emmissary of Sketch, who was moved to our region so that Sketch could "Direct influence all regional happenings" Where kicked from the region by the UN Delegate. Clans was let back in, and immediatly procedeed to "Cuss out" the entire region, a fact that you will not find on the forums again because it was posted on the in house forum. He then said that he wanted nothing else to do with us. And left on his own accord.

While he was gone, that is when we "Hostilly" Took his lands, but there was not hostilities involved, Clans was gone, Saying that they wanted nothing to do with our region any longer "Which proved to be false when he landed special ops forces and eventualy moved his nation back here"
but Edenstein claimed a small strip of land between it and the coast and moved a few tank divisons and Army Engineer Divisons. We built Roads, bridges and other general improvements on the land. CoC came back in because the region founder removed the password protection, and immediatly, They made threats towards everyone in the region, which again won't be found on the forum because they where made in-house..

Which brings us to where we are now...

After pulling out some of my troops on my own before I was "Asked/told" I did pull out my forces "Which was posted a few days ago when you read the forums" I have not since made a post or any other "Hostile action" Towards Clans. DPM is no longer in our region, and there have been NO threats at all made against him.

A nation from AZN Pride "The Region that Sketch Controls" Which btw, "AZN Pride is located on the moon of Europa and shares it with the region of the Europa Federation." (Taken from the UN Factbook for AZN Pride) Moved into our region, this nation was a 1 Bill + Nation, which is almost 3 times as big as most of the nations in LETI, but before this nation could do anything, the region founder password proteceted the region and also kicked it, We can only believe that this nation was sent to LETI By sketch to try and intimmidate us. Also Keeping in mind where this Region is located, The Moon of Europa, The region of LETI is a Present Tech Region, most of the nations have barely taken their first steps into outer space. Sketch and the nations from this region are what appear to be future tech, Sketch even said that he was committing Generation 5 Abram tanks to the region, when current Abram Tanks are Generation 2.

FOOTCOC has command of these forces:

Sea forces: we deploy 4 carrier battle groups. Each gruop consists of 2 carriers, 6 subs, and 10 destroyers. The helos however are from this thread: http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31132&highlight= , which are also used by the land forces.

Land forces: we deploy 4 corps of Mobile Infrantry (look up Starship Troopers: Roughneck Cronicles for description), which brings the troop amount to 1,658,880 troops. We have 2 corps of tanks, making for a total of 92,160 tanks on land (consider them to be 5th gen Abrams, faster, more powerful, better armored, and all around superiorly equipped) In addition to tanks, we have 2 corps of anti-air batteries to counter air/missile attacks. This makes for a total of 92,160 anti air batteries. In addition to ground based forces, we deploy 10 wings of heavy gunship helos, as seen in the above link refering to helos. This makes for a total of 720 heavy gunship helos.

Air forces: we deploy a total of 10 wings of each aircraft you see here: http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51432&start=0 , for a total of 2160 aircraft.

These forces are here to end all aggressions towards FOOTCOC. And to ensure that proper reparations are made for damages dealt to FOOTCOC. As such, over whelming force shall be applied in all arenas in case of further hostilities. Any further use of WMD shall not be tolerated, and will result in severe retaliations.

My forces are currently on standby, awaiting instructions from FOOTCOC.

[OOC] don't try to call these forces a god mod, don't try to use WMD, do comply with the reparation demands, or you will be crushed be my divine wrath.

He has since scalled this back to about 25% but the point is this is all still future tech weaponry.

For the record.........

When a posted message says "Briefing for Das Sketch", where Das Sketch is my nation's leader, it can be safely assumed that it was a secret IC communication. Meaning, you don't "know" about it. I think it is pretty obvious when a nation of my size and policies comes to the aid a much smaller nation for no apparent reason, that I do in fact have overt plans. I made it "official" by posting a message stating so. Nontheless, you cannot raise an IC fuss about that, because you do not know ICly.

Yes my tech is future tech. Had you had a problem with it, you should have stated such in the beginning. There was no mention about my superior technology when I began to state troop movements. You only complained about amount and the overwhelming force. It is standard policy in RP to play with the tech level agreed upon, I would have changed it if you asked me to. It is not too late, if you so wish me to, I can wave the magical EDIT wand and change all my forces into modern tech. This is an open invitation.

Upon the subject of my intimidating everyone in the region. I have yet to do so. Any form of intimidation was done in the interests of self-protection (not me, but my allies). I challenge anyone to find any shread of evidence (ie a post I made) that indicated any kind of offensive move on any nation residing in this region. I never left the borders of the nation(s) that invited me, or their waters. I never invaded anyone. In accordance to accepted international law, I have every right to be in the region. I was invited in, invited to stay, and never asked to leave by my host.

Thus, in conclusion, you are welcomed to bitch and moan about my being here all you want, but you can't "make" me leave, without engaging in anything short of open, unprovoked hostilities.


Upon receiving the word of several nations complaining about the Sketchen presence in the Lake Erie Tropical Islands region, Sir Roger Smith dismisses the complaints with a wave of the hand. [i]Those puny nations don't concern us the least bit. As long as we can convince our allies (CoC and DPM) that they still need us, we are within the parameters of international law. Smith sends out to each of the complaining nations the diplomatic equivilent of "blowing a rasberry." (for you young 'uns, that means to stick out your tongue and blow, like a grade schooler :lol: )
