We have incoming hostiles bearing 0039. Reading massive energy readings, this looks like a real attack."

"S***! Okay, all shore leaves are cancelled immedietly! Call Deneb, tell them we need the Colossus back here immedietly! Okay, what do we have on station?"

"Only three Orions, a couple Fenris's, and some Deimos's. Most of the fleet is on patrol since the Jimathon incident.

"S***! then shouldn't they have seen these guys? Tell them to stop sleeping at the board.

Now, get those Orions covering the flank and rear of the station. Send the Deimos's around the edges of the forward beam arc, hopefully they can herd these guys into the kill zone. And keep the Fenris's on fighter detail, our Beams can't handle them. Now get moving!"

"Yes, sir!"

General Salm stood at the window, waiting for the first blows.

OOC: The Oriosn weren't trying to Flank you, they were just covering the human flank.

IC:

As the Fenris's begin to take hits they quickly retreat, hiding behind the bulk of the station. Where they once were is now open space leading straight to the enemy ships, a clear range for the Heavy Beam Cannons built into the station. As the Raem ships advance the the Heavy Beams open up, launching out unmeasurable amounts of energy at the enemy ships.

Okay, I just had the best thing written, but then I closed the window. So, I'm just going to give the essentials.

Two Deimos's are dead and the Orions are attacking the boarding pods, but many have already gotten through.

What I had was so good. Damn me closing the window!

It's all right with me. Raem?

The ten vessels silently and stealthily moved through the space, heavily cloaked and radiosilenced. Their sensors showed them that the elves had started an attack on a pretty well armed spacestation so they were heavily occupied, this might prove valuable. Colonel Thompson, commander of the Purifiers, were satisfied. They had been looking for these damned dandelion eaters for weeks now. This was the first raid that they had reached in time. In time for some serious elfslaughter.. Thompson stroked the necklace made of elffingers that hung around his neck.

"Delta one and three, Try to get close enough to board them, with some luck they wont discover you in time to hinder you from entering, the rest of us will draw fire and return the graces" Thompson smiled, he hadn't tasted elven blood since that portal thing, well it sure was time again...

OOC: Is it a private party or do you mind if I take a bite of The Dark Eldars? It's been a while since I had the opportunity, and they still haven't payed the debt of Raem in full =)

"They're en route, ETA is unknown."

"We just need to last until they make it here. I am initiating Random Fire for this station (it makes the Beams shoot out in random directions at random intervals. While not that good at actually destroying enemy ships it forces them to move and dodge and breaks up formations and stuff).

Bring our last two Deimos's in close, try to seal off the hull breaches and make sure that nothing else gets in.

And let's show these bastards was an Orion broadside can do. I want all three on full bombardment. take the flak guns and laser turrets off-line, send all the juice into the Cannons. Use the Fenris's to keep them clear. let's drive them back."

Executor Edmund Dantes was awoken from his deep slumber, rather rudley by one of his aides. "Sir! We have just recieved word that one of Klonor's Stations is under attck by unknown assailants! Should we assist?"


Edmund rubbed his eyes. "What exactly happened?" "We dont know sir, but we have a Helios returning from Deneb from the Defense Operation in Lands of Ages. It has a full complement of 30,000 of the Armored Marine Division (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=57464&highlight=) They are less than two parsecs and could be there within the hour."


"Well, send them than, and send two Helios's more in case things get hairy, they may need too evacuate."

"Yes, sir!"

The battlecruiser Empress moved through the area, its radar picking up the situation at hand, a technician on the bridge walked over to the ship's intercom to inform the captain.

"Sir, radar's picked up something... a station in trouble, under attack or something. What are your orders, Sir?"

"Move closer so we can figure out exactly what's happening, but we aren't carrying any soldiers so keep your distance. We don't need to get drawn in."

"Aye Sir."

And with that, the large ship changed course to move closer to the distressed station.

OOC: I'm gonna have to yell at him. Oh well, welcome into the fight!

And Raem, are you saying not one ship was hit by that barrage? can I buy a few?

IC:

"Sir, we've got an update! ETA of the fleet is 6 minutes!"

"Excellent, tell them to jump in sunside of the station, we'll trap them in the crossfire and slcie them to pieces."

As he begins to triumphantly do a little dance (I'm serious, he's actually dancing) there's loud explosion behind him

"Sir, we have hostile two corridors down!"

"How'd they get this close to the bridge?"

"They're very fast, and very stealthy. Our Marines can barely see them, let alone shoot 'em"

"Break out the MBC (Mini Beam Cannon, it's an anti-very fast very stealthy weapon), have it placed at the break in the hallway, and tell fire control to get theirs out. I want our control and engineering sectors sealed off"

Captain Haskell pressed the Intercom button for a shipwide transmission.

"All Personnell, All Personell, This is the Captain Speaking. As you all know, we have been ordered to investigate the Gamma Draconis Spacestation assault, we are approching the station now. All Pilots to your fighters (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=63993&highlight=), Shuttle Pilots, prepare to transport the Marines. Marines be ready for anything!"

As the Empress approached the station, it slowed and came to a stop about 1,200 kilometres from the station to allow its scanners to search everything, at the same time, they hailed the station.

"This is the Aequatian Dominion Military Forces Ship Empress, how can we assist you?"

OOC: Oh, it just seemed like your guys had dodged everything. My bad

IC:

"Sir, thir ships are jumping out!"

"Excellent! Now what are we gonna do about the people outside the doors? They're not leaving."

"I don't know sir.....Wait a sec! I have incoming jump-signatures! it's the fleet, they're early!"

"Excellent, call the Colossus. Have their Marines (and it has thousands of them) come in through the bottom phase gate. I want an MBC with every detatchment, every detatchment, and at least three rocket launchers. We're going to sweep them from behind."

The Marines get a second rally, using a sustained burst they manage to drive the attackers into the adjacent hallway, and drop an MBC right in the middle of the doorway. It turns on, lancing out at anything moving and not wearing a Klonor I.D. it moves lightning quick, slicing the ground in front of three approaching Mandrakes and giving the Marines time to break out the heavy weapons.

"Empress, this is Klonor Fleets Command. We are under attack by infantry forces and are in need of reinforcements. if you will dock with any of the Klonor ships you can use the phase gates to come right into the station, avoiding the need for shuttles. But be warned, these attackers are both amazingly strong and very quick, I recommend Heavy weapons and auto-targeting ones."

The First lance of Fighters departed the Helios into the sea of stars. "Sir, This is lance one, we are engaging the unidentified craft!" As the Archangel engaged the small craft he almost laughed as the beam lasers did nearly nothing to his sheilds, however his amusement was cut short as a pegasus, was shot down. "Holy shit! That was one shot!" "Lance Leader to Helios, send out archangels and Orions only! The Peggy's wont stand a chance against these fighters!" Almost on cue, an orion who had been in a Dogfight for several seconds exploded.. Followed by two more Peggy's. Now he and three other archangels, and three orions and one pegasus were all that was left. "Gherring! Get back into the Bay! Your Peggy is useless!" On cue the interceptor rushed back to the ship, followed by six more archangels and four orions...

OOC: Tersanctus, the bad ships have left

"This is seargant Peters, we have lost fire control! They just charged the MBC, I've never seen anything like it. We are down to 17 Marines. All other stations, keep your guns up there with the MBC's, they wont do the job alone. We have barricaded ourselves in a storage compartment and they're having some trouble breaching the walls. We need help soon, or we're not gonna make it"

"Affirmative Klonor Fleet Command, we are sending aboard a platoon of Colonial Infantry, they are armed with a variety of weapons, ranging from pulse rifles to incinerator units to plasma rifles. The docking procedure with your station will be completed in 5 minutes."

5 minutes later...

As the battlecruiser finished its docking, the heavily armed and armoured Colonials stepped off, armed with a variety of lethal weapons, as well, their armour included the state-of-the-art firearm aid system (It's an integrated system, built into the soldier's helmet and weapon, think the Eagle Eye system on the Apache Longbow)

"Situation Captain?" The platoon leader asked the ship's commander.

"Invasion, non-humans, eradicate with extreme prejudice... Empress out."

The platoon of 150 armoured troops moved forward inside the station in search of the invaders, each soldier looking like a cold, robotic killer instead of a human being.

((OOC: The amount of friendly ships makes the whole idea of getting into the fight pointless. If you're not needed in a fight, why should you bother getting into it? There's no honor in fighting a battle that is a sure win, just because of the fact that the friendly fleet is a sh*tload larger than the enemy fleet.

And I was going to bring the *rogue* Kohr-Ah to the fight, the ones that are not friendly at all. The idea is not to get them killed in their first fight.))

"Nothing, that's good news. All of our Marines were inside the emergency bulkheads. We didn't lose anybody, and they had a whole mess of guys just sucked out. They just did us a big favor."

"Remind me to send them a thank you note. Now, about Seargant Peters. I have an idea. rig two MBC's together and attatch it to a cart. I don't know what kind of cart! Use anything! Once it's hooked up move down the corridors. If you attatch an auto-cannon to it it should be able to hold of the attackers long enough for us to reach the trapped men. Once you reach peters, I want you guys to get the hell out of here! Go out through the phase gate,!

"Yes sir! But what about everybody else?"

"They'll be right behind you. I'm signalling the evacuation of the station. Once everyone's off we'll blow this thing to kingdom come and them staright back to hell. Now move!"

The Colonial troops entered a long hallway, the dim light reflecting off of their black armour, the only spot of colour on them is their distinctive red "A" marking on all Aequatian military gear.

The troops marched down the hallway towards the storage compartment, where most of the radio chatter was coming from... all through the march, screams and fighting was heard over the comm-channels. It was then that the captain on the Empress had enough of it, he switched on a pre-recorded message which played loudly throughout the station's intercom system:

"For the Dominion, for our Emperor... crush the enemy, leave no one alive!!!"

The message was repeated over again several times as the troops walked around corners. At one corner, a burst of fire had blown the first three soldiers apart, leaving nothing but their bloody armoured boots on the decking. But fearlessly, a plasmagunner aimed around the corner and fired bursts of super-heated energy down at the firing, as well as a support gunner with his grenade launcher on his rifle.

It had to be done, no question of that, the station had to be cleansed.

"ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION TO ALL PERSONNEL! HOSTILE FORCES HAVE LEFT! REPEAT, ALL HOSTILE FORCES HAVE BEEN CLEANSED! RETURN TO NROMAL OPERATING PROCEDURES IN 48 HOURS"

The Klonor fleet begins to form a sphere around what remained of the Arcadia, transporting off surviviors and preparing in case the ships came back.

OOC: So, are we done, or is more stuff going to happen?

The Colonials walked up to a barricaded door to a control room, a plasma-demolition charged was placed and within seconds the door was clear.

The soldiers inside were both surprised and joyed that reinforcements had come, but it was short lived as they were cut down by relentless gunfire.

The soldiers walked inside, a deep breathing was the only thing heard from the armoured suits' rebreathers. One technician with a red "T" on his shoulder plate sat at a console and began typing as others took up defensive positions in the room and hallway outside.

The Empress by this time had cleared the docking and was now just off the station by a few hundred metres.

IC: "To all allied forces, this is General Salm. The enemy forces have retreated and we are again in control of this station. We recommend that you tend to your wounded, and make any preparations that you need for your voyage home."

((::notes that "a few hundred meters" is practically touching, as far as spaceships go, and anything under a few hundred thousand kilometers is excessively close:: ))

OOC: Have you forgotten my massive fleet outside? Seriosuly, I have over a dozen Orions, the Colossus, thousands of fighters, etc. The station is damaged, my ships are in tip top shape. Your gusy would never get out alive.

IC: "Attention, why have you not evacuated the station yet? Aequatio forces, respond immedietly!"

"This is Colonel Raymes, Colonial Infantry, we are just running a diagnostic of the station's systems... you never know when aliens are able to leave something which can infect the rest of your systems on different ships or stations through communication arrays, we are nearly complete... ETA 15 minutes."

OOC: I completely forgot about the fleet outside, so I'll just end it quickly then.

"Negative. You will discontinue your activites immeditely and leave the station, or you will be detained. By force if necessary."

The MBC suddenly turns on and starts tracking.

"Those idiots," Raymes thought to himself, "You can never be too careful with aliens and their corrupt technology."

The Colonel turned to the technician, "Have you finished?"

"Yes Sir, the diagnostic is complete, this station is clean."

"Alright, call the Empress, time to head back."

After a few more minutes, the Colonials were back aboard the battlecruiser. The ship turned slowly and began to head off to continue on its fixed patrol route.
