Port Yuko, Bonstock (AP)- The Bonstocknian Bureau of the Census recently noted that Bonstock has had a great growth in its Pakistani, Yemenese, Sudanese, and Afghan communities. Recent immigration from Southwest Asia is growing exponentially due to geopolitical factors.
Demographers have suggested that this is a result of devout Muslims fleeing the recent conquests of Abu Dhabi Kristatata, whose government is currently imposing Christianity upon the populations of the Middle East, inciting rage amonfg.
Many Muslim clerics are part of this wave, and are founding mosques by the dozens. Also prominent are former oilmen who have close financial ties with Bonstock. Many have invested in new businesses, and are starting to gain financial clout over Bonstock's mixed Eurasian decended populace.
This is starting to have a vast affect on the religious landscape of Bonstock. In recent years, over 95% of Bonstocknians said they "Dont give a d--n" about religious matters. Now, Bonstock has a 10% Muslim population, more then any other religion has had in Bonstock's history.
Some of the new Muslims are starting to call for ADK to leave all its territory in the Middle East. They say that if ADK does not leave holy land, they will suffer the fates of infidels and burn in hell.
Meanwhile, Bonstock has found its oil sourcees strained. Deprived of the rich connections in Pakistan, Bonstock is forced to look for new sources of oil. Alternitve energy sources, especially new technology from Zecro, are under research in Bonstock. However, until this is reasearched, Bonstock will be forced to rely on oil from the only territory in the Middle East not under the control of ADK or Eye Ran, Bahrain, which has been placed under the control of Omz222.
Bonstock is currently absoarbing this new increase in Arab population. The new arrivals seem to be adapting well to Bonstocknian culture. Like Chinese and British and Swedes before them, they are expected to blend into the melting pot of cultures that is the Republic of Bonstock. Mousques are being set up adjecent to Bonstock's famous coffee houses, for conveinence and to attract new converts to the Islamic faith. They are fast adapating to Bonstock's charicteristic capitalism, especially the former oil tycoons, who have been busy buying up Bonstock's vast Insurance industry, recently seen as the second largest insurance sector in the region. Smaller entreprenuers are buying out many of Bonstock's furniture restortation shops.
There is some concern that the new wave of immigration could cause racial tensions with Bonstocknian Chinese, Swedes, and British who make up the majority of Bonstock's population. However, the above group is so intermingled that they are gennerally regarded as one race, simply "Bonstocknian." It is considered cool in Bonstock to marry outside of one's own race. It is expected that racial lines with the new immigrants will soon become as blurred as the rest of Bonstock, helping to shape the ethinic identity of Bonstock even more.
Some scholars are saying that the immigrants are diehard Muslims trying to incite a new jihad on ADK to take back holy land. It remains to be seen how this will play out in both Bonstock and on the world stage.
