Transmission to all space-based nations:

As you may know, we are a group of humans who somehow ended up on a planet and its moons on Alpha Centauri A. We have been preparing for years to build a spacefleet. The vessels have been built in spacedocks in paralell constructions to speed things up. The following vessels are ready to launch:

In the shipyards orbiting the planet, the ships were completed. The comissioning would occur tomorrow, and some decorations were moved into space and aboard the small space station that was overseeing the construction. A huge buffet filled with many dishes was moved into the operation lounge. Everyone eagerly awaited the hoped-for arrival of foreign dignataries. The Federation needed allies, and they would probaly consider whoever came an ally.

OOC: That's right, we'll probaly be your allies if you come. We'll bring this, plus some more ships planned eventually, to your side!

What is it you require or request? Indra Prime has massive holdings in space.

We are inviting leaders of all other space faring nations to the comissioning ceremony of the ships.

Very well, we will send a small delegation to your commisioning ceremony and a gift will be in order for you. Just call it a suprise. Congrats on your ships.

OOC: you might want to try and join any of the space RP so you can get well known among us.

If you are let us know. However be forewarned. Most of our ships are large and most are expensive. So keep that in mind.

Not all of our ships are that expensive. Our most expensive is our Texas Class Command Battle Carrier at 10,000,000,000 Credits. We have some fighters that we can sell you that are a good deal less expensive than that.

The A model is the basic one, designed for shuttle operations and to act as a fighter. The B model is fitted with long-term accomadations facilities for interstellar trips.

Perhaps we could have a simulated wargame type dogfight? My ships and my pilots against your ships and your pilots?

Possibly, but you should know that our fighters are larger and much more heavily defended than these are. Our Fighters can be compared to some small cruisers.

The delegation from Indra Prime flew in, and they boarded a Type Alpha shuttle, which took them on a tour.

"If you look to the right, you will see the spacedocks with the ships." said the pilot. A few seconds later, he said "We should be coming up on our capital city." they flew over a large complex with glistening white buildings. "Now, we are coming up on the first moon. This was also the first to be colonized. Together, the independant states of the planet and the moons for the Federation of Scientific and Exploration." The moon was clearly Class-M, with lush forests. "The second moon." The second moon was also Class-M, but had been terraformed. "The third moon." It was bare, but there were pressure domes on the surface with a beautiful rainforest environment. There were terraforming facilities on the surface, and it would soon be like the other two. "Next, we will be coming up on the orbital defense grid. It has been completed for some time. Thousands of AI equipped drones, each a cylinder about two meters long, with a single pulser cannon and ion jet thrusters. These defend the planet and its moons from outside attack. Pulsers are energy weapons, working by running an electrical current through a wire that runs through a special crystal found on our world, although artificial crystals, which are better, have been created recently. If it is denser on the outside than inside, it creates a stun bolt which interferes with all electrical transmissions temporaily, including those in the human body. If it is denser on the inside than outside, it creates a disentigration ray. Most pulsers included an automatic swap-out mechnism. Out further, you see an asteroid belt. This provides a natural wall against asteroids and other natural dangers. Anything is caught by the gravity field of the large number of asteroids."

The shuttle turned around, and the pilot said "We should be getting to the construction overseeing station."

IC: A small flicker is space, and a 300 meter long transport emerges. From this transport, a small mecha emerges, engaging its boosters, and shooting towards the construction yards, requesting permission to land.

Unit 0002: "This is Blademasters BIUC delegate, Unit 0002, please permit my avatar to land, and view these proceedings, it is capable of fitting anywhere a human can."

Anyway, I'll delay the launch some for the interest of RPing.

"Excellent. Please teleport to, if you have the technology, or dock with, the construction overseeing station."

Aboard the station, Fleet Admiral Maria Robinson, commander of the military overall, commenced the proceedings.

"We welcome the delegates from Blademasters and Indra Prime. We apoligize to the delegate from Blademasters for not giving a proper tour, but we promise one after the launch of the ships. This is a proud moment for us. It will finally allow us to carry out one of the key mandates of the Federation of Science and Exploration- Exploring the galaxy. Space, as put by a science fiction series from the Sol star system, truly is the final frontier. I now turn the floor over to the captain-to-be of our flagship, the Aristotle, Captain Jack Welners.

A tall man with brown hair in his mid-thirties walked up on the stage. "Greetings. I am here to say a few words, and breif you on the technical capabilities of my ship." he said. "The Aristotle has a top sublight of lightspeed, imposed by the computer for relativity concerns, although it can be overridden by my voice command codes if ever needed. It's top FTL speed is 102times the speed of light, also known as Warp 4. This means we will be able to travel to Earth in a mere 18 days. The ship is propelled at FTL speeds by a spatial distortion drive, which sucks in the fabric of spacetime, and forms a bubble of space-time around the ship, protecting it from relativity, while smaller bubbles of space-time exit the back of the ship, propelling it through space. It has three teleportation pads, and six Type Alpha shuttles are carried. It has ten science labs, the most in the fleet. It is 136 meters in length, has ten decks, and a crew of 100. It is armed with two pulser cannons, one forward antimatter torpedo launcher, and one rear antimatter torpedo launcher. It has self-modulating gravitomic shields. I now hand the floor over to Captain Susan Lopez, of the Einstein.

A slim, willowy woman in her late twenties walked up onto the stage. "Hello, I am Captain Lopez of the Einstein, the class ship of the Einstein class. Our ship has the same sublight speeds as the Aristotle, although we do have better acceleration, but it's FTL speed is 98 times the speed of light, slightly slower than the Aristotle. Our ship is armed with two energy pulser cannons, and one forward antimatter torpedo launcher. It has a crew of 80, two teleportation pads, and four science labs. It is also propelled by a spatial distortion drive. It carries five Type Alpha shuttles, is 145 meters in length, and has seven decks, making it smaller in overall volume, but longer than, the Aristotle. It will be comissioned today, along with the second ship of the class, the Hawking. I now hand the floor over to Captain John Illych."

A short man in his late thirties walked up onto the stage.
"Welcome all delegates, I am the captain of the Bohr, and scientific research ship that is basically a mobile labratory. It has a top speed of 108 times the speed of light, making it the fastest ship in the fleet. It is armed, reflecting its peaceful nature, with one bow-mounted energy pulser cannon. It has a Spacefleet crew of 14, 8 of which are researchers, with room for 6 more researchers to come aboard. It has one teleporter, two shuttles, and is 110 meters in length, with five decks. It has six science labs. I give the floor to Captain Smith."

A woman in her mid-twenties, with blond hair, walked up onto the stage.

"Greetings, I am Captain Elizabeth Smith, of the Hercules, a freighter. It can carry 50,000 Metric Tonnes of cargo, has a crew of twenty, and, when fully loaded with cargo, can hold thirty-five passengers- Imagine how many it could hold without any cargo carried! It has one teleporter, two shuttles, and one pulser, mounted at the bow. The Hercules, and two other freighters, will be delivered today! I now give the floor back to the Admiral."

Admiral Robinson walked back up onto the stage.

"I'll just tell you a little bit more information. Pulsers, our energy weapons, are created by running electricity through a type of crystals naturally found only on our planet, although we synthetically manufacture them now. If the density is more on the inside of the crysal, it disentigrates the target. If it is more on the outside, it stops all electrical activity in the affected area temporarily, so we can stun people or take out individual ship systems once the shields are down. All of our military pulsers have a mechnism that automatically swaps out the disentigration and stun crystals. Just so you know. Now, I will take questions."

Unit 0002: "Interesting FTL drive, but why use weapons that constantly use crystals? we find it highly effective to use gauss cannons, and fusion cannons."

"Because, pulsers can completely disentigrate matter in their impact area, and this settings is also used to bring the shields down, or temporairily stop electrical current in their impact area. They also have highly adaptable settings as far as width of beam, power of beam, frequency of beam, and they virtually cannot run out of ammunition. The crystals are estimated to last through 1,252,521.52235 hours of total firing, on standard settings, and the power to run through them is supplied from the ship."

A few minutes later, the ships moved out, slowly, from the spacedocks. The science ship went off to study a nebula, the Exploratory Destroyers went off in seperate directions to explore, the freighters started filling up with goods to sell on the galactic market, and the flagship went off to head a Galactic Alliance fleet in exploring new areas.

"Such a glorious day for our nation" said the Admiral. "Now, if you will follow me to the shuttle, and down to the planet for a ceremonial banquet."

The Indra Prime ship Dark Star decloaks off the starboard bow of the S & E ships lead vessel.

"This is the IPS Dark Star. We are here to participate in this activity. we have been ordered to offer you a newly constructed fighter that we call the Fledgling. We think you will be pleased with its abilities. We await information for us to complete our mission. Dark Star out."

As the voice said this a small fighter decloaked off the port stern of the Dark Star.

" This is the Fledgling. We are to offer this ship to you as a gift from the Senior Directorate of Indra Prime."

Aboard the operations center of the orbiting space station...

A young ensign watched the sensor grid, not seeing anything unusual, when...

"Sir, a ship has decloaked. We're all gonna die! We're all gonna..." The commander slaps him. "Thank you sir." Over the comm, a voice said:

"This is the IPS Dark Star. We are here to participate in this activity. we have been ordered to offer you a newly constructed fighter that we call the Fledgling. We think you will be pleased with its abilities. We await information for us to complete our mission. Dark Star out."

"Let me patch you through to the Admiral." said hte commander

"Yes, thank you for the gift. Do you have specifications on this fighter?" said the admiral.

"I am Colonel Jack Bogdovnia if the Indra Prime Ship Fledgling. We have been ordered by our commander of the Indra Prime Space Fleet to give you all information you request about your new gift. The data on your new fighter will be transmitted right now."

Note: Temporal Hyperspace is an invention solely controlled by Indra Prime and her colonies. TH is a form of hyperspace that allows a ship to jump great distances without having to reenter normal space to recalculate the next jump within 100 ly.

We will give you this engine, but we will not be giving you the plans for the engine to build them yourself. And we will have a small crew of engineers stationed at an Embassy that we wish to establish on your homeworld so the ship will remain in perfect working order.

"Thank you. This will make an excellent special operations craft for us. We would be pleased to have an embassy set up on the planet. Please, teleport or shuttle down the personnel. Since we work on direct democracy via computer, we have no "president" as such, but we do elect a Diplomacy Director and a Council to handle the day to day things. The Diplomacy Director and the leader of the council will be there to meet them." said the admiral.

In a facility far, far underground, engineers worked updating the craft with some new tech, and installing the standard operating system. They were going to try to reverse-engineer the tech later. The new specs were:

Actually it would be in you best interest to NOT try to backwards engineer the ship we have given you. If you do, the Temporal Impellor will literally fuse together and become useless and so will the other classified technology from Indra Prime including the defense shield and the cloak.

OOC: Ok... we wern't planning to reverse engineer anything but the cloak, because it is more fun to roleplay with the limitations our FTL drive has, and we already have technologies that serve the same purpose as everything else.

IC: Thank you for the warning, Indra Prime. We are glad you told us of this beforehand.

We may be able to liscense the use of our cloaking technology. However, the Cloak we use on out Texas Class Battle Command Carrier and the Katrar Class warship are much more advanced and as such highly classified.

To what end?

Excellent. A command battlecarrier against two Edison Class Exploratory Gunboats/Corvettes, back at home for R&R and resupply.

And, its fighters against our Type Beta shuttles.

Ths ishould make for an interesting combat experience. All our ships are using their own weaponry except sset on a very low power level as to not do damage to your fleet. They will be no more then heat rays and impacts will be easily determined.

As you sure thats what you want to throw against a Command Battle Carrier? Those ships of our are twice as long as a Battlecruiser and sports more than 3 times the weaponry.

Those, plus 12000 defense drones, one space station, two harbinger turrets, with four harbingers each (You know, Klonor's ultra-powerful torpedos), four ground-to-orbit plasma cannons (the only plasma weaponry we use), 750 Type Beta shuttle, and 1500 Type Alpha Shuttles, which can have a modular pulser rack fitted onto the top.

On our side, damage will be simulated as well.

How can two corvettes hold THAT many subsidiary ships? Our Command Carrier doesn't hold that much and they are almost 3.5 kilometers long. Are you sayin that you are using your two corvettes AND your additional fleet of shuttles.
