The combats in Liliann are still waging and thousands of soldiers are dying by the days.

You can see here soldiers taking refuge from the increasingl high level of rebel snipers in the city fighting. TGC seems to be well organised since they have been able to knock out 5 imperial tanks. The battle reaches it's height in downtown Liliann where the railway station and the port are located.

At this point, a shell fired from a captured Imperial gun hit the HQ killing everyone inside. When the platoon commander learned that, they immidiately panicked. Fortunately, the many NCOs had been well trained and took command of the fledging army. They ordred a fallback to make the defence of the city easier. They began taking the weapons of the wounded and dead because of the shortage of ammo. The battle was going on it's 10th day. What would happen next?

The first of the Attican reserves have arrived. 5000 Reserve units and 15 Leopard 2C tanks arrived in Liliann and are already fighting. At least 45 Reserves have been killed already.

Whit the help of the Attican soldiers, the Southern pat of the City has been retaken. Though this is clearly a small tactical victory, the worst is yet to come. The 1st FPC army is still trapped in the middle of Liliann and are really short of ammo.

The Empire of FPC has no need for mercenaries as it has it's importan ally, the Attican Empire. The rebels would surely like your help but they do not have much money. THey don't even have enough money to pay for good quality guns!

The second part of the Reserve forces has arrived. It has 5000 Infantry, but carries 10 MiG-29s as well. They have already been deployed on missions to destroy the rebel's supply depots. 15 more Leopard 2cs have arrived.

Casualties currently are unknown.

The 1st Reserve Division has broken thru rebel lines and has penetrated the northern part of the city.

FPC = 4,500 dead and 5,000 wounded
Attican Empire = 1,200 dead and 670 wounded
The Grey Capitalists = 14,500 dead and wounded unknow

Yesterday at 6:54 a massive riot broke out in FPC. Thousands of men have died since that time. Even though we are currently involved in Lindni, we cannot let this go on any longer. Thus I have decided to send the following to Lindni as Peacekeepers.

As the Attican Autobahn goes 40 miles into FPC territory, the Emperor of Attica has decided that 100,000 Reserve Troops will be sent direct into FPC to secure the capitol.

A Leopard Division has already been dispatched to clear enemy camps quickly, and 40 MiG-23s are securing airspace while the 20 MiG-29s pound the rebels.

I see. In that case we will aid your nation in fighting the rebels. We can provide, arms, ammunition, money and troops. Simply ask and we will give you what we can.

We'd basically need more armored vehicles such as APCs and tanks. Some troops would help but they would only be given the task of securing roads and doing some forest extermination. Anyway, send what you wish, it will be very useful.

Unfortunately, due to an invasion of the Attican Empires Osterian colony, the Emperor has ordered that 5000 Kaiserheer men be sent to defend it. Therefore the remaining Kaiserheer here must be recalled (mainly for their tanks). The reserves will keep coming though. They have broken thru what appears to be weak rebel resistance in the capitol... and are heading towards enemy camps.

FPC news update:

Major improvements in the battle for Liliann. The large rebel army as now been blasted to small armed groups that have taken refuge in many houses of the city. They fight in small pockets of resistance and should be easy for the Imperial soldiers to pick off. Although they still can give high casualties because many snipers have been seen. Interesting twist today ladies and gentlemen: some 15 chopper of Dinosaurs and dragons have been mistakenly targeted as Imperial choppers by the rebel forces. They have all been shot down in what appears to have been a friendly fire accident.

The High Chairman today issued a statement commending the Capitalist forces for attempting to liberate their country from their Communist oppressers. He also pledged to support them in their time of need by dispatching two Carrier Groups, as well as two brigades of Armour, and one Brigade of artillery.

THe battle for Liliann is over. I repeat over! The help from so many foreign countries has helped trumendesly the small empire. Rex Raptor: weve lsot call back our troops and launch a mini nuke on the place.

A small group of rebels was ambushed by Vysean forces today. The 386 rebels were headed towards the liberated city of Liliann when the Humvee contingent discovered them and attacked. 294 of the rebels were killed, and the rest were either wounded and captured or surrendered. 2 Humvees were shot up, with three Vyseans dying, and two wounded.

60 Harpy class stealth fighters are scrambled from the decks of the Andvordia and Hysperia to intercept the inbound fighters. Each fires two Sidewinder heatseeking missiles at the MiGs.

Following the liberation of Liliann, some capured rebel soldiers gave intell about the TGC's next movement or target. They are supposed to attack the Eastern part the Empire. Their major target » a small city called FPCgrad. The 2nd FPC army is sent to FPCgrad to boltser it's defences. Also, 350,000 civilians have been given uniforms and weapons to fight the rebels. Even during these troubled times, our beloved government has made votes concerning public opinion.

95% of the population wants to keep the Empire as the way it is while the other 5% would like more civil freedoms but still, no change in the way the governement works. This is a blow to all who think that the Empire of FPC are opressing their people.

The long anticipated attack of FPCgrad never came. However, a bigger shock came when the rebel leader along with well over 150,000 TGC members surrendered at the gated of the mighty imperial city of FPC. That would really help in the moping up of the now guerilla army. Those rebels are nothing more than guerilla figthers for they have lost their generals and many ammo depots.

Today, some Helinn troops came under attack from guerilla figthers. THe rebels managed to knok out 1 JAS-39 and kill 3 Helinn soldier but with a price: 28 rebel soldiers were killed and another 4 were captured.

In response to recent attacks, the Attican Reichsluftwaffe has launched 30 of their new Skyhawk 2 fighters against known rebel bases. All returned home safely.

10 of the remaining MiG-29s in FPC have attacked the two carrier groups, with support from the 40 MiG-23s already in FPC.

The fighters sent by the Attican empire did a wonderfull job. the know bases of rebel soldiers have been completly destroyed leaving few, if any, survivors. Some captured TGC members have said that their numbers has been reduced dramaticaly since the surrendering of their leader. The numbers went from 150,000 guerrilla fighters to 20,000 in a week.

The rebel/guerilla groupd know as The Grey Capitalists (TGC) have merged with other fanatical group to form the NLMC (the National Liberation Movement for Capitalism). The NLMC is rumored to have received help from outside coutries and are now equipped to stand battle. However, they have about 20,000 soldiers wich is not much compared to the 500,000 or so soldiers of FPC and the outside help of otehr countries such as the Attican Empire. Stay tuned for more updates.

Two questions: Firstly, five what? Mig 29s or 23s? Try to be clearer.
Secondly, 115 missiles just missed their targets? Quite frankly I think that is borderline godmoding, especially when the Sidewinders were fired from fairly close range. Try to be a bit more realistic in your damage assesments in future, or you'll be ignored.
Regardless, the MiGs haven't got to their targets yet, as those Harpies still have 3 AMRAAMS each, which are launched at the remaining MiGs(thats 4 on each MiG), and then theres the slight matter of anti aircraft missiles launched from the escort ships, which will be launched when the MiGs get a bit nearer.

the Attican empire is being forced by the Treaty of currently Tralaax to reduce its armed forces. Therefore, the only forces remaining in FPC wil be the Bundeswehr.

Those MiGs can't just dissapear in the middle of a battle. Treaty or no treaty you have to finish off this battle, even if it's just "the MiGs run away and get shot at as they flee"

You're three days old. As such your radar is not very modern. If you were really lucky you might see one of the formations. You certainly wouldn't see all of them, at least not until they start dropping bombs.

We are not using our own Radar tech. We are loaning it from another nation. OOC

Steath aircraft can be detected....the problem is that they appear in the radar with the size of a bird.....but birds don't fly at mach 1/2 (whatever speed your fighters are cruising)

No, as I said, my allies are free to stay in the country ONLY to fight the rebels that are waging a guerille war against my troops.

The E2C providing radar support for the Harpies detects the inbound intercepters, and quickly relays the information to the Harpies, who quickly fire off their Sidewinders at the Attican fighters. The rear Harpy in the formation also drops chaff and flares to distract the enemy fire.

FPC news update:

A military caravan carying medicine for the normal citizens was attacked today by an armed group of rebel soldiers. The medics, 12 of them were all killed during the raid. 3 soldiers who were with them were also killed but managed to pick off 5 rebels before being themselves killed.

The Skyhawks, knowing they are outgunned, quickly drop 4000 meters. During the freefall, one pilot passes out, his craft crashing into the ground. 2 of the Skyhawks are destroyed by Sidewinders.

Live report: A small village in FPC was bruttaly attacked today by Shildonian troops today. The main reason; two attican soldiers at taken refuge in the small village. It wasn't long before imperial soldiers from FPC arrived and returned fire to the Shildonian troops who eventually retreated. The losses were not so high - 4 Shildonian killed, 3 FPC killed and 1 attican killed. The Emperor announced today that this was the final straw. He has openly declared war on Shildonia and will not stop waging the war until every single Shildonian troops is out of the country. The Emperor also stated the wish for his allies to send more men and vehicles.

I don't even know where New Quebec is, let alone have an outpost there. Just so you know, There are currently no Shildonian Troops in FPC.

The Harpies maintain their altitude of 70 feet but the pilots spread out their aircraft and begin dropping chaff and flares. They then fire their AMRAAMS, which will be guided by the E2Cs radar, enabling the Harpies to leave their own radar switched off and continue towards the suspected locations of the radar installations.

With the Skyhawks now in front of them, their hot engines are now much easier to detect for the remaining Sidewinders which are now fired, along with 10 AMRAAMs.

About 5 miles.

With the Missile Lock flashing, the pilots shut the engines off and immediately began evasive dives. One was not so lucky, as he pushed the thrust on his, causing all but 2 of the sidewinders to hit his craft. The other 2 wandered off course, 1 hitting another craft. The 3 remaining fighters continued towards the target.

Most of the Harpies now slow down and back away for fear of colliding with one another, although six of them remain on the tails of the remaining Skyhawks. They fire six AMRAAMs then fire 20 rounds from their cannons before pulling away.
Meanwhile, all aircraft remaining on the two aircraft are being taken below to the Hangar deck to prevent them from being damaged should the carriers be hit.

OOC I am assuming my fighters are within attack range now?

As the remaining three Skyhawks passed over the outer ring of escorts, twelve Sea Sparrow missiles were launched from six different ships to minimise the risk of problems with radar. Also, two of the cruisers launch four Standard Missiles(two each).

As the Skyhawks begin their bombing run, one of the AMRAAMS hits a skyhawk, which attempts to crash towards the escort. The other two skyhawks arm their payloads (2x 4000lbs bombs each) and prepare to drop....

FPC news update:

FPC his most grateful for the actions of Helinn in destroying the rebegl camp. He ask the Helinnian government to do more of these attacks. AS a bonus, he gave maps of the country to Helinn so that they can find rebel camps more easily.

On other news: FPC troops have found a cave which was inhabited by 30 armed rebel soldiers. The soldiers, wich numbered 100, first tried to charge the entrance of the cave but had to fall back due to the firepower of the guerilla fighters. THey then asked for a tank to come, wich was a T-64. The T-64 fired several rounds in the cave until a big explosion was hear. The tank, when it fired, most probably hit a munition dump. Only 3 rebels came out of the cave with their hands in the air. The others, dead. In this short skirmish, 2 FPC soldiers were killed and 7 were badly injured.

Commander, as you may or may not have been aware of the Attican Empire is currently under occupation by several nations. Attica lost a war and is now only semi-autonomous and will be that way for the next twenty years.
The terms of the peace agreement stated that the Attican Military would be cut back to 200,000 personell and all overseas Attican troops would be withdrawn back to Attica. It is because of this that I now 'ask' you to please disengage from the FPC conflict and report your men to FPC ports. From there Talaaxian transport vessels and merchant marine freighters will pick up your men and return them to Attica. From there your men will be given one years pay up front, disarmed and sent home.
If you do not withdraw from FPC as ordered, you will be considered a hostile invading force and we will ask all other nations in FPC to treat you as such and deal with your men. We do not wish for this to happen, but it will if you do not comply. You and your men have one week to report to FPC ports.

For your information, Kommander, the Attican Empire did not lose the war. It signed a peace treaty. Please learn the difference.

The Bundeswehr is not an entirely Attican military force, therefore it is exempt from the conditions of the treaty. Since the Articles of Alliance between Attica and FPC also conclude that military movements may flow freely thru the nations, even if it was the Reichswehr, it would not be illegal under international law.

--- The Skyhawk II drops its bombs as it bursts into flames as well. Both of the burning parts fall towards the enemy fleet.

Two of the bombs were damaged in the explosions and fail to detonate. A third slavishly follows its guidance system to its preprogrammed landing point, not knowing that the carrier had now moved away from that point. The final bomb looks as though it will hit, but falls just behind the stern. The PRSS Hysperia shuddered slightly as the bomb detonated close by.
Damage control parties immediatly began to search for damage. They quickly find that one of the Hysperia's propellers has been damaged, reducing her top speed to less than 20knots. Since this will limit the amount operations the Hysperia will be able to conduct, she will only remain off the coast of FPC until she and her escorts can be relieved by her sister ship the PRSS Xentrallia and her escorts.

In other news, recconnaisance satalites have picked up a large concentration of Attican troops massing along the FPC border. In order to counteract this threat, 20 Vampire class stealth bombers, each carrying 34 CBU-97s (http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/cbu-97.htm) flying at low altitude to minimise the already small risk of detection. A further 10 Vampires will carry each carry 20 Shrike anti radar missiles to attempt to eliminate the Attican air defences, also flying at low altitude.
Finally, 5 Vampires, each carrying 16 2000lb bombs, have been sent to attempt to crater the runways at airfields in FPC. These too shall be flying at low altitude.
