Fleet Tracker

(This is just a thread to help me, Walmington on Sea, Der Kriegsmarine, Hainan, and others keep our fleets straight. No statistics on the individual ships, just construction details. EDIT: Also, though I feel silly for enumerating that which was inherently implied, some folks apparently need it. This thread is NOT for any Jack, Joe, or Jill to post their uber-super-death fleets of future killness, or anything else for that matter. If you're not the member of our RP, please keep yourself to comments only. This is first and foremost a reference thread for us. If you wish to join, TG one of the members, or post in another thread. Thank you.)

(for my forces, I'm basing it on England with a few changes, look at Here (http://members.aol.com/forcountry/ww2/pnav.htm) for beginning of war naval strengths. I have no CVs and only 3 BBs vs Britains 6CVs and 15BBs and of those, missing ships, the constructuion time/cost went into Crs at 3 LCrs or 2 HCrs per missing Brit. thats giving me 18 extra LCrs and 30 extra HCrs over britains strength, and only 4 subs, the excess construction from them (55 subs less) going into Corvettes at 2 corvettes per Subs so 110 more corvettes than Britan had.
This means about the same in total tons floating but in different areas of the navy.

No... And I truely do apoligize for posting it. I have mainly been trying to find out if having such things is generaly accpeted by other Nations. I posted a question about it in the "God-Mod" thread, but have thus for recived no replys.
Obviously it would seem in this arena such things are NOT accepted, in either case I poligize for the random post, Thank you.
Wow. I've got to be the biggest dick in the world.
That was totally out of line of me, Crossroads. I'm sorry. I thought you were gonna be all "Ah, look what I have. Now I SMASH you!". I'm sorry that came out sounding like it did. Hope this doesn't sour you to the forum.
PS- This is really Der Kriegsmarine; I'm just logged in as someone else.
You've got more cruisers than I have total capital ships in my whole navy! Holy crips!
OOC: That's becuase they're my only capital ships aside from the carriers, they fill the role of everything from destryers to my main gun platforms. Besides, for the price and material needed for one battleship, I can build three or four of these crusiers.
Yes, but how do those cruisers stack up against a battleship? What kind of guns/armor do they mount? While they might be inexpensive, that really limits your options in a world where there are no cruise missles and a ship's offensive power is determined more by the guns it carries.

OOC: I posted the stats on the other thread.
Here, I dragged the stats over.
Franklin class light cruiser- Relatively small, it is fast, and heavily armed for its size. The Franklin class light cruiser is designed primarily for AA duty, but is well suited for everything from escort duty to sub hunting to shore bombardment. It is also more than capable of taking on larger and more heavily armed warships if the situation should require it.
Weapons-
1) Sixteen 5 in. dual-purpose guns mounted in eight twin turrets (Each gun is capable of over twenty rounds a minute for a total of over three-hundred-twenty rounds a minute).
2) Twenty-five quad 20mm anti-aircraft cannon, 10 double 20mm anti-aircraft cannon.
3. Fifteen Dual 40mm anti-aircraft cannon, Twelve single mount 40mm cannon
4) Four 21 in torpedo tubes.
5) Two depth charge racks and four depth charge throwers.
Equipment-
1. Active/Passive sonar .
2. Air and surface radar systems (Including advanced gunnery radar).
