Arbra Revleals Newest Command/Capital Ship (Pic Warning)
Arbra today announced publicly their attempt to produce a new command/capital ship for the Arbran Military Fleet, the final capital/command ship to be produced for at least ten years. This project, however, is going to be Arbra’s first totally funded project. It is the Delta Class Capital/Command ship. It is approximately 5.3 kilometers in length, and carriers a varied arsenal of some of the most powerful weapons available. It contains 22 Twin Plasma Pulse Heavy Cannons (rotating), 8 Particle Beam Cannons, 48 Pulse Laser Turrets, 3 squadrons of Y-86 Rex fighters, and 3 Major Fusion Missile Bays. It holds two main shield reactors, which give it more shielding than the Albatross Class Capital Ship. It has a crew of 17,984, and holds a total of 6,932infantry/marine troops. The Delta is reckoned to compare with the Klonor Colossus. In order to help any nations atempting to deal with the threat of the Colossus, Arbra is selling the production rights of these craft to any respectable nation for $5,000,000,000. The Delta is said to cost $247,000,000,000, which Arbra has obtained through years of funds recieved by Sniper Country.

At least thats better then the standard most space nations use...cardboard (considered relatively good against the next most commonly used material, paper). Of course, its all called diamond carbon-nanotube super-ultra titanium neutronium composit or some varient. But we know they use cardboard.

If you really are the real sniper country (which somehow I doubt), please please please be more realistic! Let the nation grow with time instead of just claiming to have all this tech at once! Even starting as a space nation, this is far beyond your nations capibilities.

EDIT: Okay, I have nothing else to do, as I have decided against going to sleep at my regular time for school tonight. Stated a while back, I wanted to be in space, but didn't want Sniper Country to be a space-nation. So I then came up with an idea. I decided to have Sniper Country stay totally current tech, and have a space-based 'colony', which I just made a separate nation. We had the SCSA research all the things needed, and we then found the planet of Arbra to inhabit. We rounded up 5,000,000 volunteer citizens, got them on ships, and sent them to colonize the planet, which is pretty much just like earth, except there is one part dense jungle, one part ocean, and one part frozen tundra. Anyways, Arbra is Sniper Country's space nation, and there isn't really anything else to tell. You want proof of this being Sniper Country? Just ask. Send Arbra a telegram saying something like a secret word or something, and then I will log on to Sniper Country to send you the secret word back. Whatever. This is it, and no one has complained except you. I don't RP with you anyways, so why am I so worried about it? Why am I even typing this?
Wazzu, he's spent weeks saying how Arbra is SC, and for a while he even put all the Arbra posts as SC. Arbar get's a lot of funding and materials from SC.
OOC: Hmm, making something like that outta LEGO (There is no S in LEGO) would be quite expensive - 15 cents per piece right now I believe. Say a couple billion pieces...

Interesting design - you do realize that it is essentially a big target though? Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Smaller ships mean you have a more flexible and mobile force - flexibility and mobility win wars.

OOC: You and others misunderstand. I have two points to make, lets see if I can make them clear this time.
1: I don't question that the person who controls SC also controls Arbra. I question if that person is the origional SC. Giving a note to one to see it come back from the other simply does not prove this is the case. I have no way of knowing, it just seems that the origional SC was much more reasonable.
2: I don't question that Arbra is a space nation. I don't oppose it. That is OK by me. I question the power of Arbra at such a young age...even with SC supporting it.
Keep in mind, if SC is a completely conventional nation, then it does not have the technology or industry to make such huge ships...and at its young age, neither does Arbra. I think this points to a rising need in NS, the need to differentiate space nations from FTL nations.
Most (but not all) space nations are not capible of FTL. They exist in this solar system only (or almost exclusively). They occupy small portions of planets, produce relatively few space ships (with the Titan SPACE nations likely producing the best/most), and have a strong background in NS.
Most FTL nations have control one or multiple star systems (the few remaining typically own entire planets in other star systems, but not the systems themselves). These nations are almost always younger...in fact, the vast majority are june/july nations. They typically produce thousands upon thousands of giagantic spacecraft with ubertech they never took the time to develop.
Maybe our problem is a miscommunication then. Maybe the problem is that when you say space nation, I imediately think Menelmacar, Scolopendra, SLAGLands, Sunset, and even Wazzu. But when you describe your ubertech as being that of a "space nation", I imediately think "godmoding."
Is this a fair assessment? Arbra is meant as an FTL nation? To RP with the others who claim multiple star systems, the vast majority of which are June/July nations (older then Arbra but younger then SC) with ubertech?

It has been announced today that Arbran officials on Mythos have commisioned the first Delta Class Command Ship in the Arbran Military. This brings the total of Capital/Command ships to five, including two Albatross Capital Ships (one of them being the Flagship).
Congratulations, it's always good to have a quality command ship.
