The Navy Air Corps has decided that due to a surplus of floatplanes and flying boats, a percent of plane manufactors will be dedicated to building planes for export. These planes are perfect for new island nations that need an army fast or cheap alternatives for larger nations who need a patrol on their lakes, rivers, or seas. Remember these are WWII and before era type planes, so they are perfect for cheap scouts, patrol, and torpedo bombing!

Excellent: the BWO Coast Guard will take three Consolidated PB2Y Coronados. They will supplement our current wing of Catalina's very nicely.

Of course, as we so regrettably found out recently, the fact that the electronics in these old birds are entirely valve-based makes them almost 100% immune to the effects of electro-magnetic pulse, which is a pleasent bonus.
