The Valinon Windjammer sonic jet approaches Reich aerospace.
"Reich air control, this is Valinon Diplomatic Flight 37778 carrying Sir Gunther Westmarch to attend the funeral proceedings. We request permission to land."

******

In the rear of the craft, Westmarch, now dressed in the full finery due of the Imperial Court back on Proxima stands with the ESS adjutant.
"I will have my agents contact the Queen, I suspect things are not as they seem here, My Lord."
"Of course," Westmarch brushes some lint of his collar.
"We are awaiting clearance, Sir Westmarch," says a voice on the intercom.
"Continue with your probings, Lieutenant," Westmarch says, selecting an overcoat to wear from a small recessed closet.
"Of course, My Lord."

Sir Westmarch had finally managed to arranged suitable transportation to the suite of rooms reserved by the Foreign Ministry. The ESS lieutenant road across from him in the ground car.
"I trust that you have seen to the precautionary measures concerning my room and the reservations?" Westmarch says to the ESS man.
"All has been taken care of, My Lord."
"Is there anything else?"
"Yes, Lady Rolt has given us an AI to use on this diplomatic mission."
"Really."
"May I present Heath," the image of a man in a three-piece suit comes into view.
"My Lord, Lieutenant," nods the AI hologram.
"Activate a dampening field," Westmarch says in the harsh tones of the Argot, the secret language of the Empire, and a closely guarded state secret since the Imperial government was forced into hiding by Communists centuries earlier before House Alderman had resorted in the Empire.
The AI nods, Westmarch turns to the ESS man, "You have taken your steps regarding the probing and the Queen?" Westmarch continues in the Argot.
"It has been done, My Lord," replies the ESS man in the Argot.
"Good," Westmarch nods and Heath takes down the field. The bugs that may have been in the car were fooled by simulated conversations and sensor ghosts.

SchaderTek Incorporate wishes to send two delegates. Although we did not have contact with the Reichskamphen government, we often considered Reichskamphen to be a stable nation worth investment.

Please advise.

Mikhail and Jakob, newly arrived from Akilliam thanks to the suicide of their target, looked around the more enlightened landscape of Reichsburg with interest. They were seperate, of course. Mikhail was the official SchaderTek Incorporate mourner - and also the distraction. Jakob was a nobody, a refugee from the situation in Veii, come to make a living in Reichskamphen's more hospitable climes.

The fact that the two of them had been planning the liberation of the heir to King Will's throne ever since his death had been announced was not, of course, made public knowledge.

[OOC: waiting on the funeral, but also awaiting a response on whether the rescue can be done in this thread instead of assumed in the Death of King Will thread - if it can, can I assume the following can be purchased (tracelessly) within Reichskamphen:

2xwhite van
5xgallons of petrol
50xbars of soap
1xmetallic drainpipe
100xstrips of magnesium
50xcubes of iron oxide
1xdry ice machine
5xcrop spraying aeroplane licensed to operate over Reichsburg
5xhi-freq radar radar transmitters and receivers
10xflares
10xkitchen roll tubes
1xmicrowoofer [That's like a subwoofer, but small]
1xcomplete set of Radio-shack style components

IC: Thankyou for your interest in attending, your presence shall be appreciated.

The Parliament in Reichskamphen has voted to abolish the Crown, therefore it is only acceptable that I renounce my primary title and claim my secondary one of Lord High Protector of the Triune Kingdom. Only Jesus Christ can be King. Nobility who do not renounce their titles shall be shunned. In this new Republic, there is no place for Royalty.

Will shall be the last King of Reichskamphen! I shall assume full authority over the Triune Kingdom as Permanent Lord High Protector.

Joseph Thompson,
Lord High Protector of the Triune Kingdom

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Outside the Reichskamphian Parliament house.*

Lord John Irving, Prime Minister of Reichskamphen sat on a bench, his head in his hands. "The Second republic..." he thought to himself. "Same as the first...Manstein brutalized the citizens of the Kingdom...now Joseph will do the same."

Irving's son, now 25 walked up to his father and sat down on the bench beside him putting his arm around him. "Why did you do it Dad? You could have just declared the Bill treason the the Crown and killed it right there...Why...?"

"Did you watch the broadcasts of the session today?" the Prime Minister asked his son. He nodded affirmatively. "Perhaps you didn't notice that the Chamber Guards weren't the Royal Guard. They were Scottan Guards...Joseph's thugs...and I am sure you didn't notice...nor was I intended to notice the sniper sitting on the top of the glass dome on the ceiling, his sights set on my head." His son hugged him tightly as they both began to cry.

"If I had done anything...I would have been killed and someone else would have passed the Bill. It would have just been my life for nothing...There is no way to stop him!" Irving cried out disparingly.

"I know, Dad...It's ok...History will forgive you...you had no choice..." the son responded tenderly.

"You know I love you, son." Irving said softly.

"I know, and I love you Dad." his son replied.

"If you truly love me," Irving prodded, with a tear in his eye, "you will take this envelope to your mother and run now. Run far away. Get out of the country. But more importantly, run away from here as fast as you can."

The Son looked into his father's eyes, took the envelope, and gave him one last bear hug before running off. He ran hard. Listening to his own heart beat. His thoughts racing. People gawked at him as he ran at full speed down the sidewalk as they casually ambled by. Suddenly, he heard a gunshot...he knew it was his Dad. He stumbled a bit and fell to the ground bursting into tears, curling up in a small ball. People stared at him like a madman. "What are you looking at!!??" he lashed out at them.

He forced himself to his feet, his whole body feeling like lead and ran to his Mother's house.

Inside the Envelope was a withdrawal slip for 3 million Reichsmarks signed by his father and a suicide note advising them to leave the country..."Flee to Lavenrunz." he told them.

"Pack your bags, Mom." the son forced the words out through his tears. "We are going to do what Dad asked."

Welcome back to RNN continuing coverage of the debacle in Reichskamphen. Today, the Parliaments in Russapovia and in Scotta passed the Bill eliminating the Crown by a 3 to 1 ratio. It is a bit curious that those who voted to retain the crown either fled the country after the vote or mysteriously disappeared. Shots were fired in the Russapovian Parliament house as the Prime Minister of Russapovia attempted to strike down the Bill as High Treason to The Crown. Before he could finish his sentence he was shot dead by Scottan Guards.

Martial Law has been declared in Reichskamphen where Royalist Revolts have rocked the nation. Hundreds of thousands of Scottan Troops are now occupying Reichskamphen and Russapovia in an attempt to secure the power of our beloved Lord High Protector.

Also, Joseph Thompson today announced that there would be no state funeral for King Will Thompson II as he was a traitor to the Reich and deserved a pauper's grave instead of a state funeral. More details as they come.

Mystically sensing, somehow, that without telepathic powers and so on to back up their poor mundane plans there is completely no point in attempting to save the Heir and his mother, the two agents make their way out of Reichskamphen smartish. Before the Archduke decides to have condolence-offerers executed.

[OOC: well it seems pretty logical if people can do psychic communications, I doubt there's anything that will stop the two being rescued or any way to get involved in said rescue.]

Since hearing the news of Legion, Jonah had been renamed by God - he was now Raphael. Jebediah had assigned him to lead 9 other Knights Templar to rescue the Irving family.

They rushed through the city, oblivious to the chaos around them. Guards didn't even try to stop them - they didn't know if they should or not.

Upon reaching the house, he called up to the balcony.

"Lady Irving, we are here to take you away from the country."

The boy and the woman burst out of the front door. Raphael sighed with relief. And noticed the large group of soldiers heading towards them.

He drew his powergun, and called to them.

"What are you here for?"

"To arrest those two traitors!"

And Raphael fired, before drawing his sword, and charging.

Royal Guard stormed into the Queen's bedchambers where she sat with little Will on her lap. "Your Highness! Joseph has disbanded the Royal Guard and the Crown! Your safety is in danger. Our advance units in the city report a column of Scottan Infantry and Armour heading this way. We HAVE to get you out of here." one of the Leutnants yelled hurriedly.

Captain Mark Kesselring ran into the room a second later and yelled, "Change of plans! We are splitting you two up! If the Scottans get both of you then the crown is doomed! One of you has to survive! The most immediate exit is with Milantian units who have managed to sneak in here and are holding thier place in the garage. I reccomend his young Highness be brought that way. I shall guard him!" Kesselring said pointing to the young Prince, "You will follow these men to the office of a Valinian mole in the government. He will take you down to the labyrinths where you shall be safe until you can be extracted!" he hesitated for a moment and then hugged the Queen and held her tight to him, kissing her on the cheek. God Bless, your highness."

He and 15 Royal Guardsmen made their way to the secret tunnel out of the palace. There at the end waiting were 15 Milantian Knights Templar. The passage opened right next to the River where two River Boats were feuled and running.

The Queen and her Guardsmen ran to the Labyrinths where they met the Valinian and descended deep into the depths of the underground. Joseph Couldn't find her if he tried. Soon, she would break for the river.

Subject: Attendance for Funeral

We would be honoured if our delegation could be included among those in attendance for the funeral of King Will Thompson II. The Vrakian delegation will include Special Envoy Huri Retya. Please advise us on security protocols for the event.

Somewhere in Vrak…

A military cargo plane is hastily being arranged. Huri Retya looked on with a mix of concern yet curiousity. Not much was known about the nation of Reichskamphen so this moment was another opportunity to make Vrak’s presence known on the world stage. Besides thought Huri as he shook his massive head being careful not to scrap his tusks, the death of a monarch is truly tragic.

The soldiers started firing, but Raphael span among the bullets, as if he had slowed down time for himself to get out of the way. His sword cut across the stomach of one man, and powergun flashes from his man knocked down another couple. The other Triune soldiers fled.

Raphael turned to Lady Irving.

"Madame, we are leaving. Now."

They moved quickly to an entrance to the metro, one that had been long disused. An express carriage was waiting. Boarding it, they took the service rails, not used by regular metro-trains, and moved to maintenance station well outside of the city.

Getting off, Raphael looked around warily. He motioned for the rest to follow him. They walked cautiously for about half a mile, to a river. Several speedboats were waiting for them.

"Board them. We will meet up with the young King down at the sea."

Westmarch turns to the lieutenant, "Have you taken the necessary steps?"
"I have contacted our men, they are ready. However, we will have more guests than anticipated."
"The new orders from Count Leopold this morning said we are to welcome them all," Westmarch says. "I will not leave Reichskamphen until our charges have been secured."

The Knights Templar, the 5 year old heir to the throne, and Mark Kesselring sit in the bottom of the river boat, which appears to only be some sort of pleasure vessel.

Little Will sat in the floor playing with his toy soldiers. He had a line of Gray Confederate Soldiers and a line of Blue Union soldiers and was marching them down towards each other. "BOOM!" he yelled as he placed his hand infront of a piece of artillery and moved it from the mouth of the cannon striking down a row of Blue Coats, simulating an artillery shot. Kesselring leans over to him and asks in a voice that one would use with a child, "So what is THIS column doing." he noticed that there was a column off to the side that was not in the action.

"They are reserves!" the little Prince replied happily. "Daddy said you always have to keep reserves!"

Kesselring was surprised at this knowledge and looked on and saw another column of Confederate troops way out to the right of the main battle. "Ok...so what are THESE men doing?" he asked.

"That is Hood's division! He is moving wayyy" he exagerated 'way' by making a large arm motion, "out of sight of the Yankees! Then he's gunna hit them in their right flank! The Yankee's don't know its comin' and they are gunna run like whipped chickens!" the young King continued on describing the role of each group of men in the battle, excited that someone was taking an interest.

"Just like his father." Kesselring thought. "He is going to be a tactical genius...I can't let Joseph take his land away from him...I cant just watch this happen."

He walks up the King and says, "I am going to go for a while...you may not see me again, so I want you to have this..." he took off his Royal Legion of Merit for his heroic actions in the Oberhausen revolt, the highest honour in the King's army, and pinned it to the Prince's chest. The Prince beamed back at him with a childish innocence that he wished he could go back to. "Goodbye." he said, choking on his words, forcing down the tears as he hugged the Prince.

The Prince reached his arms up to Kesselring and yelled joyously, oblvious to the gravity of the situation at hand, "Upsies! Upsies!"

Mark smiled and let a teardrop fall as he picked the Prince up, held him at arms length and twirled him around in the air as the Prince yelled "Weeeee!!!"

He sat him down and kissed him on the cheek. "I have to go now, Will. Your mommy will meet you soon!" he said, once more choking on his words.

"Bye bye Uncle Mark!" the prince squeled childishly as Mark took one last look at him before walking up the stairs to the main deck of the boat. "I must save his Kingdom." he thought again. He Threw down his Royal Guard Sabre, his rifle, anything that would weigh him down and said to one of the Knight's Templar, "Keep this for the Prince." With that he dove into the river from the deck of the ship and swam to shore where he climed up the wall on the east bank of the River.

He ran to the nearest Comm Booth and dialed in his special Royal Guard code..."Thank God it still works!" he thought. Mark spent all night running from booth to booth so he wouldn't be tracked easily, calling his corps commanders and urging them to call their subordinates and get anyone who was in hiding out. They were going to retake Reichsburg.

A crowd of at least 45,000 men gathered in the main square, King Will Thompson I (Will's Father) Memorial Square, rechristened Joseph Thompson Square at the abolishing of the crown.

They were all in civilian clothes unassuming. Joseph had ordered this mob to be watched. He did not want Reichskamphen to rise up so no orders to fire were given.

An extremely attractive woman, dark brown hair with ample breasts and an unforgettable face sacheted over to one of the Scottan tanks. She was wearing almost nothing. One of the Scottans made a cat call at her. She moved her finger seductively to entice him to come over. The Scottan turned to his buddies and laughed, and approached. The woman fell into him and began kissing him passionately. Then things got a bit more "intense". The crew of the tank had climbed out to view this spectacle. The woman raised up and tore off her clothes, standing there stark naked atop the Scottan Guard. She said "Pardon me a moment, I left something in my jacket." she reached down and all of the men stared at her buttocks as she bent over, about 5 men in all.

Then, their heads literally fell to the floor. As they had craned their neck down, Some of the civilians had pulled out Royal Guard sabres and decapitated the men quietly. The men climbed into the tank quickly, apparantly still unnoticed as they were in an alleyway. The tank then lurched forward out of the alleyway, some of the crowd seemed a bit shocked. The tank barrel seemed to level with the crowd. Then it turned up and blasted a Scottan Tank accross the way, sending shrapnel and burnt flesh flying into the air.

Snipers accross the square who had taken their marks on the tank commanders whose heads were out of their tanks pulled the trigger dispatching most all of them.

The entire mob then pulled out rifles, sabres, pistols, anti tank weapons, grenades, whatever they had that would kill, and moved against the Scottan troops, most were taken by surprise and with few casualties to the mob which it turned out was the 3rd Division of the Royal Guard augmented by elements of other Royal Guard divisions that had not fled further to the south.

Royal Guard stormed the unguarded palace gates and used their codes to bring up the hidden weapons in the fortifications. The ground seemed to open up as 12 150mm howitzers were raised up on platforms from underneath and concrete slabs seemed to open revealing an array of machineguns, grenade lauchers, TOW rocket launchers and other items of importance.

The cannons were quickly manned by the elements of the Royal Artillery that were in the mob and shells were loosed on the scottan tanks, a few hitting near by buildings accidentally with disasterous results.

A huge column of 4,000 Scottan troops marched down Avenue de Grande Armee into the square but the Machineguns on the palace tore through their ranks as the men on the ground hurled grenades, rockets, and fired into them. The Artillery directed a few shells into their ranks, blowing gaping holes into the ancient streets.

The Mob managed to seize 5 of the Scottan tanks and used them to expell the last of the Scottans from the City. Reichsburg was under Royalist control, but for how long, no one knew. Over 5,000 men of the Royal Guard perished and 7,500 Scottans perished. The streets were filled with corpses as the Royal Guard moved to establish a perimeter.

A Panzer Division manned with Royal Guard troops managed to make its way from one of Reichsburg's suburbs into the heart of the city. Artillery was scavenged from all the fortifications outside the City walls and used to strengthen the Royalist's tenuous position.

Reports from Kamphstadt in the south, a Royalist Bastion, indicate that an uprising has taken place there. The Scottans regrouped in that instance, and are confining the Royalists to the Inner City. Army Group SATO, whose base was in Kamphstadt, was evacuated when first the unsettling events began. As it stands, 55,000 Scottans and an Armoured Division are trying to topple a Royalist bastion of 25,000 men, a Panzer Division, and 5 Squads of Royal Artillery which have taken places on the high ground to repell attacks. Reinforcements from nearby Scottan Garrisons are on the way to both cities as well as an influx of Scottans from Russapovia and Scotta itself.

The River boat with the heir to the throne and the Knights Templar upon it had made its way out of Reichsburg and past Several Scottan Patrols throughout the country. As the turned at a bend in the River, they saw a hideous sight, the 3rd Scottan Armoured Division crossing a series of pontoon bridges ahead of them. The boat would not make it through the bridges as they were floating on the water as well. A voice came over the tank's outboard speakers. "Unidentified River Craft! Halt in the name of the Lord High Protector! Identify your selves and prepare to be boarded!"

The little Prince was in the bottom of the boat, oblivious to what was occuring.

The Knights Templar prepared for a fight and hurried about as the prince watched in confusion.

*FUNT FUNT* *FUNT*

He fired twice into the High Lord's chest, before embedding a final one in his forehead.

Herman soon showed what a calm professional he was. He turned to the window on his right and put three bullets through it. He then reholstered the pistol and ran to the door.

"GUARDS!! GUARDS!! THE HIGH LORD HAS BEEN SHOT!! A SNIPER ON THE ROOFTOP!! GUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAARDS!!!!"

A group of Scottan guards ran through the door. "Oh my God!" Mumbled one of them.

One bent over and checked the Lord's pulse. He stood up and stared at the others, ashen faced. "He's dead." He whispered.

Herman once again showed his professionalism. He put his hand to his mouth in a classic sign of dismay, but subtley slipped a tiny white pill into his mouth and swallowed it even more subtly.

He then leaned forward and vomited violently. When his retching subsided, he stood up and mumbled, "Escuse me. Bodies make me nauseous." He dragged himself weakly from the room.

He reached the gate and identified himself and was allowed out. He pulled his hood over his face and walked away with an increasing speed. When he was safely out of view, he continued walking but removed a pair of transparent gloves that looked exactly like his real hands. 2 hours later, he was on a plane to Troon.

---

A messenger sprinted into Lord Dictator Hrrachen of Dregruk's office waving a piece of paper.

"Sir, did you authorize a Diplomat "Herman" to offer an alliance to a country called "Reichskamphen"?"

Hrrachen frowned and shook his head. When he saw the messenger's white face, understanding dawned over his face. "Oh dear God." Hrrachen stood up. "Messenger, get to the office of International Relations and send this message ASAP. Go. NOW!!" The messenger scurried out the room faster than he had entered it.

-- To: Reichskamphen
-- From: Lord Dictator Hrrachen of Dregruk

We have an urgent warning for you that we pray will have arrived on time: We authorised no diplomat to be sent to your country. There is, in fact, no diplomat in our employ named "Herman". The man that was sent we believe to be an assassin hired by someone else. He is in no way related to the Dregruk government. This man acts off his own will and kills simply for money. We hope, nay, pray that this message reaches you before something terrible happens.

Purely OOC, who hired you?

The knights attacked the foremost of the Scottans, hoping to shock the soldiers into retreat. Their swords weaved lanes of death. The Scottans, surprised, withdrew, thinking they were facing a large force.

The barge continued, eventually reaching the transports waiting for them.

Meeting up with Lady Irving, they went to Milantos, where Will joined the Frateris Militia, and the young Lord Irving became a diplomat.

After request from the Reichskamphen, I pledge my support for the royalist armies and for the Head Government. Therefore I am deploying an army from the Wehrmacht of 1 million men to push back the rebel scum. Along with the army, will come supplies of gas, armour, rifles, guns, pistols, submachine guns, food, medical supplies, food and clothing. Not for the Wehrmacht regional forces, but for the Royalists armies and only the royalists armies alone. Along with the 1 million men, are 24 thousand Waffen SS crack paratroopers. The SS will spearhead the push and make way for the rest of the armies.

Thankyou for your assistance, Jedi Revolutionaries. As of now, the Royal Army of Reichsburg has just withdrawn from the city that bears its name and it heading southwards. The Royal Navy is holding open a passageway for transports to get through and the Royal Airforce will occupy as many of Joseph's planes as they can. Hurry, for God's sake hurry!

OOC: Dreguk, I will stick with what you have done, but I don't want Joseph dead. Remember he is probably faster on the draw than many in his army and he was armed. He would have taken a hit maybe, but would have shot back. He would have drew his pistol the second he saw you reaching for yours and if he didnt beat you to the shot he would have gotten you anyway. So as it stands now, Joseph is alive but he is bedridden due to a bullet taken in the gut and herman is either wounded and escaped or dead. No one is supposed to know of Joseph's injury for that could look to be weakness. We shall see if it gets out.

The sound was nearly deafening. 2 bombergroups and 1 fighter group flew over Russapovia bombing bridges, intersections and roads to prevent a quick advance into the palace area of Russapovia. 60,000 paratroopers in 3 divisions jumped out of air transports and down towards the Capital. The goal was to block off all ground level entrances into the Palace's vicinity and hold off all enemy movements until reinforcements arrive.
The troopers on the ground hit the ground and quickly made their way to the buildings and fire on any one firing at them. Scottan troops quickly made their way to oppose the Jedi Nation, but were quick to retreat. Fighters flew low and straffed any scottans out in the open.
"Sir we have set a perimeter and booby trapped all roads leading in. All we have to do is watch out for the few that are still out and about in our area. We have nearly 2/3 in reserve, that is how much force we have as of right now. No one has gotten in so far."
"Good. Tell the High Command we are ready to take the palace, but we do require more munitions and possibly the airdropping of a couple armoured tanks," the Commander replied.
"Yes sir, right away." the sergeant ran quickly away and down a couple houses to the CP.

As day light set in, gun fire seemed to be more constant. Scottan troops would come in waves only to be fought back my heavy fire. Over head a dog fight seemed to be useless for the Scottans. They were simply out numbered. 10 helicopter transports swooped in and dropped light artillery onto the ground and cargo aircraft dropped nearly 10 Tiger Specialized Tanks consisting of 2 tank barrels and top speed of nearly 90 mph by parachute.
"Lt! Deploy your company along this road here!" the Colonel said pointing at the map and then towards the street. We are expanding our perimeter just passed the river so that the Waffen SS casulties are minimized coming in. Once you capture the road, set up a base of fire stay put and wait for further directions."
"Yes Sir"
Another Lt. reported into the Colonel.
"Sir, scouts report that a regiment of Scottan troops are heading our way. They have armour and artillery support!" The Colonel thought to him self quickly and said,
"Lt. Find Colonel Eichman. Tell him he has orders to move from a reserve position and to reinforce the south perimeter."
"Yes sir."

Waffen SS crack troops ran ducked down as they were fired upon. They didn't fall to the ground or take cover, but ran as far forward as possible and then behind a wall. Panzer divisions rolled forward into the suburbs of Reichsburg and engaged in urban warfare just as the Germans did in WW2. SS men would go through every building and clear it, blast a hole into the wall and right into the next building. Bodies were strewn over the streets and sniper fire was slowing down the advance of the Heer.

"Last night and throughout today Wehrmacht forces have engaged non-royalists military units in the Reichskamphen and as we speak they are fighting along side of the Royalist armies of what was once King Will II. Our ally is in desperate need and we have come to help him as he has come to help us many times. Joseph Thompson must listen to our order. Thompson must leave or he and his evil regime will be destroyed. This is not a war of hate or moral values, but one of propaganda towards Josephs people, to the world, and to Joseph. The Wehrmacht and the nations fighting along with the royalists will prevail inorder to prove to everyone that Joseph does not hold the thrown, but only is temporarily sitting in it. We will prove that Joseph's regime of terror, killing, and treason will not stand!"

OOC: Like most of it Jedi, however there are a couple of improbable/impossible things. It is going to be very hard to drop in THAT many troops in Russapovia. I would say perhaps drop in a few platoons of Waffen SS for Spec Ops or something to that extent and send the bulk of your forces to Kamphstadt to assist the Royal Army of Kamphstadt.

Where did the troops come from in Reichsburg? You would have to make a huge fly over which would be intercepted by Joseph's men or you would have to sail up the River to Reichsburg. There is a map on the Reich site of the Triune Kingdom. Again, maybe just a few to assist, but where you are needed most is in Kamphstadt. A strong front in the South needs to be established. We will just assume the situation is as I have described it.

IC: Royal Guard troops make a feigned charge into Scottan lines at 0800 hours preceded by an artillery assault on the Scottan lines. Scottan batteries pour shell and shot down on the Royal Guard who turn and run after crossing only a fourth of the field. The appearance of a massive retreat is given. The Scottans respond and give chase.

Nine Divisions of Scottan Infantry Cross the field in pursuit of the fleeing guard. As the rest of the Royal Army, unbeknownst to the Scottans is digging in on a hill only 5 miles away. Panzer IX's, the main Scottan Battle tank predating Scotta's entrance into the triune Kingdom, roll accross the fields on the right and left flanks of the fleeing army. Within the hour, the remnants of the Division of Royal Guard have joined up safely with their commrades on the Hill and the overeager Scottans have moved out of the range of their artillery cover. Like a scene from ancient times, over 100,000 Scottans charge into the valley along with 2 Panzer divisions. They appear bewildered as they see no sign of the Royal Guard. Then, the Royal Artillery opens up assisted by fire from the Reichsfuhrer tanks. The overlapping artillery fire slices through Scottan infantry like they were toothpicks and takes out tank after tank after tank. Panic sets in amongst the Scottans and they begin to turn and run. As they do so, the Royal Panzer Division cuts accross from the left flank cutting off their retreat and tearing into them hard. The Machineguns cut down the Scottans like hey before the scythe and the nearly semi automatic main guns lob their vollies of 8 shells a piece almost simultaeneously. Royal Guard Units close the noose and completely surround the Scottans. The shell shocked troops begin surrendering by the thousands. Tanks were being captured by the douzains. Food, ammunition, Water, everything they needed they took from the Scottans.

All told, the Scottans suffered 30,000 dead and 70,000 wounded and captured. The Scottans in the rear began to fall back rapidly leaving what they had to behind. The tanks pursued the Scottans just far enough to gain access to new artillery pieces and feul and supply depots. They made off with thousands of tons of new supplies and dealt the Scottans a horrific defeat.

While the Scottans continued reeling from their clobbering, the Royalists took little time savouring their victory and instead marched south where they picked up tens of thousands of volunteers and new supplies. Their ultimate destination was Kamphstadt where they intended to merge the two Royal Armies into one great force.

The Scottans re-entered Reichsburg in a sad procession. They gazed upon unmanned Royalist positions and the bodies of other Scottans who had fallen before them along with the occasional Royalist. It was a slaughter. Half of the City had fled with the Royalists and therefore the army was not hard to track as it had a huge wake. But this meant that for all intents and purposes Reichsburg was dead. Activity simply halted as Scottan troops renewed their vigil on the streets.

*Centreville, Russapovia. Centreville Fortress Prison*

His blindfold was taken off and he blinked rapidly, readjusting himself to the light. He couldn't remember much. Rubbing his head he muttered aloud, "My head..." He tasted salt in his mouth. He spit out a swig of blood and spit. It was then that he remembered one of the guards slamming him into a wall face first. "I will get that Scottan bastard one day." he thought aloud.

He raised up from his dank cott and smelled the air. It smelled like death. Death and old feet. Looking around at the Stonewalls around him he heard the methodical stamping of the Scottan guards' boots in the hall outside and occasionally saw one of their black hats pass by the small barred peephole on his iron door.

"No windows...no sun." he thought to himself as he stared at the bare lightbulb hanging from the ceiling on a string. "Joseph knows how to treat someone well."

A small flap opened up under his door and a plate of greul and slop was slid under with a glass of filthy looking water. "God Save the King!" the Scottan yelled through the door teasingly. "Eat your mess you bastard!" he finished.

He pulled the plate over to him and cautiously took a bite. It tasted like rotten curdled milk...maybe it was. He gagged and reached for his water. He looked at the yellow gobs floating in his water and quickly through the glass to the floor shattering it. The Scottan heard it and yelled sarcastically, "What do you want, Chateau Lafite Rothschilde? I'm sorry but we're all out of Bordeaux's! Eat your slop!"

"Get me out of here." he prayed silently.

Then the guard gasped, "Lord Jospeh!" he paused, obviously listenging to something that he was being told. The man in the cell craned his neck outward to hear what the guard was saying. "Of Course sir he's right in here!" He could hear the rapid clanking of keys as the guard fumbled about with them, searching for his cell key. He heard it go in the lock, a slight clank and then the door opened with a blood curdling creek. There in the doorway stood Joseph Thompson, Lord High Protector of the Triune Republic.

The prisoner slid the tray of slop away, tried to stand, but was unable.

"Pathetic old fool." Joseph gloated. "I win."

"Shut up!" Joseph yelled as he smacked the bound prisoner accross the face. "I didn't keep you alive to hear your fat mouth."

"What did you keep me alive for then?" the prisoner inquired.

"You are going to help me." Joseph replied.

OOC: SATO does not border the Reich. You will have to enter from the sea, Kamphstadt is the best place to enter as a Royalist presence is already established. Also, Will III can command perhaps a division but does not yet have the experiance for an army. Like his father he is a tactical genius and though his father commanded an army at 15, he is only 11 now. He can command as long as he is assisted by other Milantosians in an advising role.

Mark, you have been invaluable throughout the years. You are truly a blessed man. However, you mean much more to me than you know. Though I am likely dead at your reading of this, I wish you to know that you are not simply head of the Royal Guard, you are my son.

You were my first born, but I saw how Joseph my own brother was and how he was corrupted by power, therefore, I decided to shield you from that influence until you were ready to assume the throne. You are the heir apparant to the Royal Throne.

It is my wish that you take your place on the throne and drive the evil from my lands! God be with you!

3 squadrons flew over the country side that night in a very slow advance across the sky. They flew low, nearly touching the trees.
"There's Elbestadt," the flight leader said. They city lights could be seen a couple miles ahead.
"Affirmative," the wing man said. He flipped a switch on his right near the window and the steady hum of the bomb bay doors opening could be heard.
"Wait for my mark," the flight leader said.
"We have 3 bogies inbound, 12 o clock low, 5 miles."
"Lock and Load," the flight leader ordered,"do not fire. Drop the leaflets and evade."
"Understood." The planes flew lower a about a hundred feet over the city.
"Drop now!" the flight leader ordered. Just then, tracers came flying from in front and across his left wing. A couple hit, but no immediate damage was done.
"Break now!!!!" The planes distanced themselves and flew lower. More tracer rounds came flying at the flight leaders plane and went right through the cockpit into the pilot. The plane went into a barrel roll into the mountain side. The second plane was hit in the right elevator and the pilot looked for a road or field to land on. Hit plane hit the ground and came to a screeching halt. The pilot fell out of his cockpit onto the wing and then fell onto the ground. He heard the sounds of yelling and a couple shots in the distance and he ran into the woods

"General!" the SS man came up to the Royalist General. " I am Karl Schruburg, Oberstgruppenfuhrer of the II SS Armee. I am the head general of this expeditionary force from the Wehrmacht. Right now, nearly 200,000 men are being unloaded and are east of Kampstadt, there are about 800,000 more being deployed, but nearly about 20% of that is navy and airforce. Now the rest can be held in reserve, but from the looks of it, the right flank in Russapovia is not secure as the middle or left flank."
"Yes that is correct."
"My plan is to push up through Russapovia, while Royal troops cut them off on the left flank, inflicting heavy casulties and hopefully taking the major intersection just south west of Elbestadt. It opens up 2 optimistic option for either marching to Elbestadt or Reichsburg. If we take Elbestadt, it cuts off half of Russapovia off from the Capital of New Braunau and major portion of their army. If we goto Reichsburg, then we can use the river to encircle the troops south of Reichsburg."
"Yes, but you have to remember, Scotta has numerous resources."
"We have to act quickly then. We have to get some momentum in order to get there quickly and create a position along the Scottan border before Iesus gets here!"

This is RNN

As a result of the King's appearance, instead of the rebels laying down their arms, they are emboldened. They cry, "For Will!" as they charge into battle.

Further uprisings have occurred even in the less Royal friendly Oberhausen. All accross Reichskamphen and Russapovia, every majour city rises in revolt against Joseph. even parts of Southern Scotta rise up. There is no definitive front line in any of these situations as control over territory is patchy at best. The Scottans are struggling with their last ounce of energy just to contain the revolt. For now Scottan lines are holding.

Joseph seems to be in a tough position. An aide in his office admitted earlier today that King Will was infact among the living. This caused the rebels to rejoice as they fight even harder. Joseph himself later took this back and claimed the man who had spoken the words was a traitor and a liar.

Then, tonight, this video was released confirming that King Will WAS alive.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The same image as before, the black screen with the King in the centre. The King speaks. "Citizens of the Triune...Rep.." he then spits and says. "This is not a republic! Joseph is a usurper! Fight him! Give my son what is his!" The image of gun could then be seen coming from the right side of the screen. The King did not wince or grit his teeth but bravely stared forward. "I love you Sarah." he said just before the trigger was pulled. The entire left side of his head seemed to explode splattering grey matter onto the camera lens.
------------------------------------------------------------
Joseph has denied that the man murdered here was King Will and claims that it is a foul Royalist trick to remove him from his rightful place of power.
------------------------------------------------------------
*Centreville, Scotta; Centreville Fortress Prison, hours before Joseph's response to the video*

"Burn that tape!" Joseph yelled as he dropped the gun from his hand and wiped the blood off of his new suit. "And get rid of the body."

Joseph stormed out of the room with his entourage. The lone Scottan guard cleaning the mess took the tape from the photographer, vowing to burn it himself. He walked to the computers reserved for Scottan Guards and emailed the video to RNN.

As he took his gloves off to type the message, the crown and swords of the Royal Guard tattoed upon his wrist was evident.

"Fire" SS Standartenfuhrer Iesler orderd into his radio. His Waffen SS Panzer Regiment was advancing at 20 miles per hour against the Scottan lines heading South West from Kamphstadt down the road. Over head the sound of dive bombers and fighters could be heard roaring past. Iesler's regiment was the spearhead of the 1st Armee of 150,000. As a distraction to the Scottans made by the 1st Armee, the 2nd Infantry Division ran ashore in south Russapovia. Bullets came flying in at the infantry soldiers, but the numbers were too great to halt the Wehrmacht soldiers from making it onto the beach. Bombardament from the air and sea either took out bunkers or lessened enemy fire enough to keep Wehrmacht soldiers alive.
"Oberstgruppenfuhrer!" the Furhrer of the Wehrmacht said.
"Ja mein Fuhrer!" They exchanged salutes and ended the pleasentries.
"Breakout from Kamphstadt. Keep them surprised! I want Elbestadt as soon as possible!"
"Heil Hitler!" the Fuhrer left and the Oberstgruppenfuhrer sat down at his desk. He thought to himself and decided to most the 3rd SS Panzer Armee North.
"Oberfuhrer. Relay these orders. Blitzkrieg from Reichskamphen to Scotta borders. Flank their asses, air drop paratroopers, and hit them hard with everything we have. Resources are not an issue. After we take southern Russapovia, push north and use the 3rd SS Panzer Armee of another 150,000men and take the road to Elbestadt. Surround them with a pincer movement, somewhere East of Kamphstadt would probably work best in this situation." He pointed to map and Wehrmacht current positions and future positions if all goes well.

"Hold positions!!!!!!!!!!!" The armoured troop transports stopped behind the dikes on the south side of the road. As one transport would stopp, the one behind it would travel about 500 feet farther and every soldier would rush out under a hail of fire to secure the left and right flank of the road leading west from Kamphstadt. Tiger IV's of the 4th SS Panzer Division charged north over the road and towards the enemy lines while 45th Tank regiment protected the northern advance in the south, while 2 infantry regiments and 1 panzer division protect Kamphstadt in the south east. More troop tranports followed the 4th SS Panzer Division. The transports fired small cannon fire and machine guns unleashed at the defending enemy. The transports came with in 50 yards of the lines and hundreds of soldiers ran out from the transports under heavy fire. Artillery had already zeroed in at the lines and could be quickly adjusted.
"FIRE!" Hundreds of armed rockets shot upwards towards the sky of the back of the WX510's. The screamed upwards with the yell and the pitch of death.

Planes from the 3rd Luftwaffe Air Group swooped down and dropped Napalm bombs at the bulk of the lines in order to create gaps and holes in the line. They flew back around and straffed any remaining or exposed enemy. 3 Airgroups flew about 25 miles behind enemy lines and dropped 2 divisions of Heer Infantry. The infantry landed under the cover of darkness, and was not engaged except for small skirmishes. 150 ME 150's, the Wehrmachts newest fighter bomber, powered by 2 jet engines that could track and fire upon 20 targets at one time up to 2 hundred miles away.......according to weapon load, took off from recently built, rural, airfields. Every plane flew low at be a harder target for enemy air power and anti aircraft fire.

The sun was finally begining to rise.
