DMI Small Arms announces Massive Anti-material rifle

Daistallian Military Industries is proud to announce an all new very
heavy anti-material rifle - The AMR-21.

http://world.guns.ru/sniper/ntw20_1.jpg

The AMR-21 utilizes a 21mm cannon shell, giving the user cannon
capability in a rifle configuration. It is also available in 15mm. The AMR-21
is intended for issuance to quick reaction, peacekeeping, combat
engineer, and special operations forces, providing accurate long-range fire
against high value targets, while minimizing collateral damage.
The AMR-21 has been designed for maximum ease of use and low
maintenance. The bolt action with three-shot magazine provides an accurate,
efficient, and cost effective system for single shot fire. The time it takes
to re-acquire and accurately aim on target is much longer than it takes
to reload.
The key to making this weapon usable is it's recoil compensation and
dampaning system.
65% of the total weapon weight resides in the barrel and action. This
is able to recoil in a lightweight cradle chassis. Free recoil is
reduced by three separate devices that work in concert: a double acting
hydraulic damper, a double acting spring buffer located in the lower rear
chassis, and finally a double baffle muzzle brake. This system reduces
the hard, sharp kick to a firm shove. (Please note that, while recoil is
reduced, it is still quite significant.)
The system breaks down easily into a receiver section and an
ancillary/barrel section, each carried in separate backpacks, weighing 15 kg.
This allow the system to be carried into relatively inaccessible areas so
that it can be deployed from unlikely or unexpected areas.

http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/daistallia/ns/images/ar2.jpeg

The new DMI assault rifle series is built and tested in accordance with state-of-the-art manufacturing and quality assurance criteria. The design employs the proven combination of gas operation and rotating bolt, providing the weapons with utmost dependability, even under the most extreme field conditions. These assault rifles are available in two versions: the standard model AR-2 and the AR-2b short pattern. As such, they effectively form a weapon family, sharing a majority of common components. Consequently, handling, training and maintenance are identical for both models. The standard version is equipped with a bipod. Given the optimal weapon layout, accurate shooting in all positions is enhanced. The heavy barrel, hammer-forged in one operation to form chamber and bore, the long sight base and the carefully matched sighting elements provide superior inherent accuracy. The functionally mature and weight-saving design concept provides advantages such as increased combat readiness plus additional features such as 3-round burst, folding butt and bolt hold-open catch. In practical terms this represents: extreme precision, low weight factor and ruggedness. The AR-2/AR-2b is a simple and safe handling weapons that has been proven in troop trials to be functionally dependable. The AR-2 fires a propriatary 6.5x50 mm ammunition. Barrel rifling twist is matched to suit the ammunition. Standard, live ammunition is used to launch rifle grenades. The weapon cycles automatically and remains ready to fire at all times. The lightweight plastic magazines can be clipped together to form multipacks. This feature, in combination with the automatic bolt hold-open catch, permits very fast magazine change.
