The EM-80 Sturgeon is the latest in the extremely popular series of warships from the Elias Marine Corporation. It is officially listed as a ‘Combat Support Vessel’ due to its flexibility to perform a huge variety of roles including assault helicopter carrier, sea control ship, casualty evacuation/hospital ship, humanitarian relief platform, and as an underway replenishment ship.

The ship’s most important features are its four spot helicopter deck which includes two elevators, the hangar which is large enough to accommodate eight medium helicopters at any one time and the ships medical unit which includes a 150 bed hospital, two operating theatres and an advanced scanning and diagnostics unit. The ship an also be used as a flagship for amphibious operations with command and control facilities.

The EM-80 is equipped with the full set of navigation and communications equipment, powerful diesel power plants, air-conditioning and ventilation systems to provide efficient operation in any climatic conditions and NBC chemical protection systems as well as a radiation de-contamination facility. It can be operated in sea conditions up to Sea State 10.

Other key features include a comprehensive and lightning fast encrypted data transmission and receiving system that is optimized for operation in large battle groups where sensor information is instantly relayed to the flag ship and/or shore command centers.

Sorry for the delay, first of all its EM-80, If its confusing so be it...
Secondly the ships cannot be converted at sea as medical equipment, personnel and medical supplies etc must first be brought aboard as they would take up too much space otherwise. In Port the conversion can be made in a minimum of about 72hrs.

Your order of 5 is confirmed and it may interest you that due to a reduced order from the Elias Navy there are two vessels already built awaiting sale. Perhaps they would be useful in the Nimbatan conflict? If you want the ready ones there will be an extra 20 million surcharge for each.
