If you filled the Cargo version of RT-1707 with people, how many will it hold?
Yes, this question does have a point to it...

would Raysia be able to manufacture a modified version of the RF-12?with decreased rnage, increased rate of climb, better short field performance, and if possible armed with a missile with superior range and speed,or else furnished witha modification kit to adapt it to different ordinance?

would Raysia be able to manufacture a modified version of the RF-12?with decreased rnage, increased rate of climb, better short field performance, and if possible armed with a missile with superior range and speed,or else furnished witha modification kit to adapt it to different ordinance? It can fire sidewinders too. But for the other modifications... it's already got a very good range, and a good rate of climb. The stats rival most manned fighters... jsut remember what it lacks in speed and size, it makes up for in maneuverability, because it has no bilot to worry about

I would suggest using the carrier to increase range.
06-08-2003, 03:42
i believe u misunderstood us...we said DECREASED(i.e shortened )range,so that what it saves in fuel it could make up with the other modifications, while for the missiles we were thinking of something more along the range of Phoenix/AMRAAM/Meteor,whose speed and range are 3 to 4 times those of youre featured missile. This is to be a purely defensive aircraft, and as such needs to climb, achieve intercept and launch as fast as possible, while a rnage of 150 to 300 miles while be amply sufficient to cover our country.

06-08-2003, 04:34
we dont need it to bup in the air for 15 minutes at full speed...according to defense anlysts, average mission profile should leave an adequate fuel margin....

We would like to buy one RT-1707 Cargo Transport, but, we would like it tricked out into a luxury "flying yacht." a la Air Force One, you know, with all the toys. We want to use it as the personal plane of our Prime Minister. The Jesus-1. No, our Prime Minister isn't Jesus, but, we are a Christian Theocracy. We are willing to add as much as 100,000,000 over and above the base price for the improvements we require. Please TG me if you can accomadate usas I can't check this thread for awhile. Thanx.

Amen.Well, I refuse to let it be called the Jesus... to blasphemous... But we can do that... do you want an actual Yacht, or an Air-Foce-One thing, or a flying fortress command center? (Either way, we would recommend the Antonov 225 Mriya for that kind of thing.)

How do you think ParaTroopers would fare comin out of that thing. It would be excellent transport if you say it can hold what.... 1750 troops? the sheer size would probably allow me to have two jumpers at a time.

Of course, Paratroopers are obsolete with Raysia's Drop-Box (See our back-issue)

The Cargo version RT-1707 could very easily hold 30 drop boxes, and drop them out the back.

Can you describe this drop box.. it doesn't sound very good. Having 100 troops killed in a freak accident or a stray missle doesn't sound to good at the moment.

DB-118 "Drop-Box"

http://www.bateshome.com/jordan/dropbox.jpg

Want to have the ability to simply fly a cargo plane over the battlefield, and drop your troops, light tanks, trucks, howitzers, or anything else you might need, in an -easy-to-deploy, safe-to-use, DISPOSABLE drop craft? Then the Drop-Box is your dream come true! This wonderful creation from Raysia Aerospace basically looks like an armored cargo container (or you can get a flatbed with securing straps and chains) with a wall to wall airfoil on each side to guide it straight down. When it reaches a certain altitude and speed, depending on weight, the computer auto-pilot fires 6 vectored-thrust solid rocket pods (2 on the long sides, 1 on the short sides) to slow it down until it comes to a soft, cushioned landing on the ground (aim for clear ground or a meadow or a shore) using series of spring-loaded and pnumatic shock absorbers to make it calmer for troops. When it hits the ground, the shocks trigger the rockets to jettison off, and explosive bolts blow the walls apart, creating ramps. And then, you're off! Each drop box costs $75,000, and the area inside is 10 x 10 x 50-ft, enough to hold all types of high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles, light armored vehicles, eight standard loading pallets, 80-100 troops, or up to 40 tons of cargo.

These can easily fit 2 inside a C-130, 8 in a C-5 galaxy, 1 in a V-44, or 16 to 20 in an An-225.

With a good mathematician guiding the drop, this can also be a dream Siege Weapon! Drop one of these with a tank, some Artillery, and some marines, right onto the deck of a carrier, and you can prevent ANYONE from taking off! Or take this to a larger scale, and drop them all over a city, and you instantly have an invasion force deployed into the city without having to deal with getting past many defenses! These can drop from ANY altitude the plane can carry them to.

Price: $75,000 USD Each

Remember, this is a ONE-TIME-USE vehicle.

NOW AVAILABLE:
You can request any size bigger or smaller than this if you wish, just specify the size along with the amount, and the price will be the same to a certain point.

Let me know what the specs. on that are. But, why would that be blasphemous? I don't understand. Please TG me with your answer because this isn't the appropriate forum to discuss theology. I am just doing this to give glory to my Savior.

Nah, those drop pods aren't for us. Not cost effective, and not versatile enough. Thanks anways. For the Troop Transport, what kind of loading bays are there, I need to drop some M551 Light Tanks with my Paratroopers, would I be able to?
