-- Standing behind apodium. He speaks cooly:

"As most of you know, The Resi Corporation has surrendered to the Imperium, under the stipulation that Chronos inspectors will be allowed to oversee the future production of this weaponry. These inspectors will reamin in the country long enough to get production rolling again. In the long run, this isn't expected to damage Resi's performance, though it will mean a brief sales hiatus while we looks things over. The inspectors are preparing to leave presently and will arrive in Resi city in about 48 hours. Imperial gravFleets, though currently disengaged, will not hesitate to open fire on anyone who decides to attack this peaceful convoy."

We object to your imposing a sales freeze! As per the contract, we only must have a production freeze. Surely we can sell what we already have?

The sales freeze will only last unti the inspectors arrive. It should only set you back a couple days.

The sales freeze will only last unti the inspectors arrive. It should only set you back a couple days. But still, what you are doing exceeds the terms of the contract. I don't want to be a pain, but we need all the sales we can get if we're to pay you tribute.

Indeed. But if we arrive to empty warehouses, we won't be happy.

There's more than one way to clear goods from your warehouses, you don't have to sell them. We're just saying that you'd best not do anything fishy with them.

Aboard one of the transports:

"This is Chronos Gravtrans Vessel 22a. We're seeking cearance from Resi leadership as to where to land. Proposed vector is 15.5 miles East-Northeast of Resi City. ETA: fifteen minutes. Bearing: 300. Speed: 126 kph."

The pilot clicks the microphone off and hangs it in place, awaiting a response. They had nearly arrived.

"This is aircraft control to Chronos Gravtrans Vessel 22a, we are setting up a flare. Once you see it, land on the pad it's on."
A few seconds later, red smoke billows from a large helepad about two kilometers away.

The lumbering gravship swings it's aft end over the landing pad, and comes softly to a landing. It was a mid-sized shuttle--capable of holding about 100 men. A door opens and Alkanphel himself steps out. He clasps his hands behind his back as two of his guards step out of the craft behind him. His eyes keenly sweep the surroundings. He awaits a for a welcoming party of some sort to acknowledge them, standing on the beach patiently

The CoVar logo flashes on the black screen, rotating slowly. The words, "John Silver, Premier CEO President of the CoVar Corporation," appear at the bottom of the transmission below the symbol of CoVar.

The logo disappears and the screen fade to a utilitarian white-washed room, that almost seem to glow the white from the color of the walls. A man dressed in an extremely expensive black suit stands behind an ornate silver metal podium with the CoVar insignia on it. It looks as though he hasn't shaven in a while and his visage seem surprisingly similar to that of a story-book pirate, even with the suit.

The thought that the first words out of his mouth should be, "Arrr, me matey," is very powerful in the minds of those watching, but these are not his words. "The CoVar Corporation publicly protests this violation of capitalism, and ask that the inspectors be recalled. We also deny all allogations of terrorism."

There is a second of silence and then it dawns on the CoVar Corporate President what he just said. "Oh wait, there were no allogations of terrorism, oops. Did I say, terrorism? I meant..." More silence ensues as he tries to think of something. Finally, he just says, "Nevermind."

The tramission fades back to black and then cuts.

Really, OOC: I don't expect any real changes just protesting.

As an ally of Resi we also object, the Imperium obviously does not hold the tenant of capitalism as dear as most of the civilized world.

We can sell, but we can't produce. He isn't being ENTIRELY anti-capitalistic.

Idiot. My Private sector alone is larger than both of your nations put together. I may remind everyone, that Xaosis! originated in Angband.

The logo disappears and the screen fade to a utilitarian white-washed room, that almost seem to glow the white from the color of the walls. A man dressed in an extremely expensive black suit stands behind an ornate silver metal podium with the CoVar insignia on it. The man now recognizable, to all, as the CoVar President John Silver looks as though he hasn't shaven in a while and his visage seem surprisingly similar to that of a story-book pirate, even with the suit.

The thought that the first words out of his mouth should be, "Arrr, me matey," is very powerful in the minds of those watching, but again these are not his words. "There appears to be a misunderstanding as to our Public Statement of Protest. First, we deny any allogations of terrorism."

Someone leans in and whispers something in the President's ear. "Sorry, it appears there were no allogations. I ask you all to forget that last part. Anyway, we still protest the Melkorian oversight of Resi business as it is a violation of capitalism, free trade, and the very existance of the Corporate Islands region."

He pauses and a man steps or is more thrown on the stage. The face of the man appears to be drenched with sweet and a look of terror is clearly visible on his face. "Furthermore, due to an inadequacy in Intelligence on Melkor and Arda. I am replacing the Employee in charge of Intelligence on that region." The President turns pulls a gun from inside his suit and shoot the man dead.

He returns to face the camera, his smile again reminiscent of a pirate. The tramission again fades back to black and then cuts.
