The S2 AM is a gas-operated magazine-fed rifle. It comes standard with a smart-linked scope which has 2 levels of magnification. The scope also comes with a NOC function for use in very low-lit conditions. In addition to the night-vision ability, the S2 AM also comes standard with a flashlight mounted on the right side of the scope. A laser sight can be activated if need be, and is located on the right side of the scope. The rifle also comes standard with a bipod, though a tripod can be attached as well as the rifle being made free-standing. The S2 AM fires 14.5mm armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot rounds. The 14.5mm round is an anti-material round and is capable of penetrating several armored soldiers.
