The 14 Special Ops forces moved quickly to take down as many of the emperors elite guards as possible

Mallice: "Target?"

Jones: "Got him - North wall, crouched down behind the parapet - can just see the top of his forehead under the helmet."

"Got it." Mallice dialed in his sniper rifle, and took aim - with a slight squeeze of the trigger, the bullet flew across the 120 metres to meet the enemy's head.

"Next?"

"Moving target - heading towards the breech."

"Got it."

Across the clearing, at the breech site, the group of five were preparing to get the forces first look inside the castle compound.

The JDAM had blown an entire section of wall down - destroying the menacing machine gun next that had stood atop.

The two DART launchers were ready to go as Chevez stuck his head around the corner.

"Okay - we've got a group of three trucks, and a couple lighter armour - look like Bradleys. Remember - aim for the vehicle door - biggest solid target....Ready? Okay - together now - 3, 2, 1, go!"

With that two soldiers moved into the breech, DART launchers at the ready - took quick aim and let loose the small, but deadly missiles.

The rocket motors kicked in - and took but seconds to impact the two vehicles.

The first was a supply truck parked near two others that had been bringing ammunition to the emperors troops - the other took off for the Bradley - but even as it did - the Bradleys Chain gun had turned and openned up on the pair of Special Ops troops.

The first soldier managed to dive out of the way, but the second - transfixed by the flying rocket - moved too late, and took three rounds in the chest - blood flew from his mouth as he went down.

*Rosport Cemetary*

Today, over 100 troops got buried in Rosport cemetary, and a war statue got constructed.

All their families were there, all brave and tall.

Prayers were read, people wept, as brave, loyal soldiers were lowered into their final resting place.

Another war memorial has been placed commemorating all those loyal, normal Jacerian men, who died under the foolish reign of their former Emperor.

Several other memorials have been placed commemorating all those who helped defend Freedom Country, and Medals of Honour have been handed to 5 troops who fought, 2 of which were the first to die.

All those that died at the hands of the rebels have been buried, and all have been given Medals of Perpetual Freedom

Our Second Army is en route with supplies to help with the rebuilding.

WEll now that the situation has resolved itself the Crookfur forces are withdrawing leaveing you with 2 fully functional airfields capable of handling any thing upto C5 size and numerous Smaller airstrips siutable for STOL fighters and hercules/C17 transports.

It is planned to be formerly declared once the emperor is brought to trial and his forces completely crushed. Mason Khord will be accompanied by the acting foreign secretary Dianna Sinn and her delegation in the capital of FC where a permanent peace treaty may be worked on and other affairs of state may be setteld.

In the woods near Rosport, a ceremony conducted by the Democratic Jacerian Army under General Quisis layed their fallen commander to rest.

The Ruling Council is planning on paying the government of FC the amount of money they deem sufficient to give to the families of their fallen soldiers. Additional money will be sent to repair Rosport Army Base and also for any other structural damages inflicted by Jacerian forces under the Emperor.

Civil War still rages on one last battle field in Jaceria...In the city of Mirith Tynen Jacerian Democratic forces are outnumbered and bunkered in as one fanatical general still loyal to the Emperor prepares to crush the opposition.

The Ruling Council has dispatched General Titus and his army to counter-attack the Imperial Forces and help relieve Democratic Forces.

Moments later, as darkness fell, the C-130 flew overhead. Its back hatch wide open as a large, orange bomb slid out the back.

The Special Ops troops from Wolfish new what was coming next, and took cover.

The bomb fell quickly to the centre of the compound, where vehicles still burned from the earlier attack.

"Cover your ears boys," said the Platonn commander.

The MOAB blew less than 100 feet off the ground - blowing winds and sucking all available air into a massive mushroom cloud.

The explosion seemed to last forever, but as the bright orange glow faded, the platoon was already rushing the castle - guns at the ready.

No one was left alive outside the keep - but inside, there was a chance the emperor and his elite guards would still be alive and able to fight.

The first door had been blown open by the MOAB blast - inside the darkened hallway lay debris.

"Okay - two by two - go-go-go."

The troops took off, clinging to the wall, heading deeper into the castle.

22-year-old Josh Hannigan stuck his head around the next corner, and quickly pulled back.

He signaled 4 men were waiting for them. He double checked his weapon, and sprung around the corner - low to the ground, he fired a quick burst from his M16. Two of the enemy fell quickly, but the third returned fire - blowing a full metal jacket through Hannigan's shoulder. He hit the ground as the two remaining enemy fled through a door.

"Go - they left - through the door," he cried out in pain.

The platoon moved forward - moving cautiously now - they reached the century old oak door - it was bolted solid.

"C-4 Mac" said the leader.

"Right." the C-4 was quickly attached to the door, and wired. It shattered into dust as the plastic blew it inward.

Automatic fire greeted the platoon from inside the room. They returned fire - then the commander called out, "MASKS" - as he pulled a purple grenade from his vest and tossed it into the room, quickly pulling on his own mask.

Inside the room the emperor and his elite guards were inhaling "Purple Haze" a non-lethal gas that causes massive, yet peaceful hallucinations.

The platoon moved in quickly - plastic cuffing each prisoner.

"Zulu 1 - this is Gardener. All the tools are in the shed. Request extraction."

"Copy tools in the shed. Osprey are two miles out."

"Roger that Zulu. Radio our new friends in Jaceria - tell them we got the man responsible for this mess."

"Affirmative. I'm sure they'll be pleased."

Jaceria, my peacekeepers would be 1,000 Spec Ops troops, some of which were in the battle for Rosport.

And can I have the pleasure of sending 60 A-10's and 30 F-15's to smoke out 'em tanks.

And I think 85,800,000 USD should pay for the destroyed fighters, tanks, structure damage and loss of life suffered.

Hehehe.

This is excellent news. We would greatly appreciate if Wolfish operatives could bring the subject back to the capital where he may stand trial for his crimes. Also we greatly appreciate what everyone is doing to help bring peace back to Freedom Country and Jaceria and hopefully this will sow the seeds for a greater friendship between our nations in the future.

After the initial assault was repelled, an Imperial officer offers terms to the Democratic Forces hunkered in via loudspeaker...

"You in the barricade listen to this! No one is coming to help you! You are on your own...give up or all will suffer and perish!"

The Democratic Commander immediately shouted back his reply.

"Damn your lies and your Emperor who has already been taken! We would rather face death than surrender our liberty to the Emperor, no less than one of his slaves!"

And with that...the second assault began...

Kymil Talax, Acting President of the Ruling Council, agrees to the arrival of Freedom Country peacekeeping forces in Jaceria on one condition...they are to leave as soon as the civil war is declared over and the Republic is declared.

Jacerian Forces in Freedom Country are now preparing to assist in the reconstruction of any damage done to the nation. It is only just that those sent to wreck havoc shall now mend their errors by rebuilding what they sought to destroy.

25 miles east of Mirith Tynen...

"General Titus, scouts have reported that Imperial forces have been spotted in the southern and eastern parts of the city. Our other men in Mirith Tynen are entrenched in the northern edge of the city and won't survive much longer."

"How many have they lost on both sides?"
"About 1,000 or so men have fallen and I am not sure on their armor."
"This is ill news...and what of the enemy?"
"They have lost double the amount of our guys, but they can afford it."
"Not if we get there in time."

In Mirith Tynen:

Democratic Forces have fallen back behind the walls of the Army barracks in the northern part of the city. The civilians quick enough to flee their homes before the Imperial onslaught are now being protected in the barracks by approximately 2,000 men and 30 some spec forces and 150 tanks. The Imperials have been eeirly silent for the past half hour until a deafening explosion rocked the foundations of the barracks.
"They've breached the outer wall!"
"Get the women and children out of here! We must defend them! Send our reseves to block the enemy's way in! We make a final stand!"
Every man able to carry a gun and fight rushed towards the breached wall in order to halt the enemy advance. Imperial tanks rolled forward but were met with returning fire. Explosions and gunfire rattled in the ears of all in and near the city, for the battle that followed was terrible to behold.
Despite the heroism of the Democratic Forces and no matter how many Imperial troops they cut down, the wave of the enemy troops seemed endless and after several hours of fighting it seemed that doom was close at hand...

Would it be too late for me to paradrop say, 100 troops via C-17 to help?

I could also issue 20 Ground Attack A-10's to help bomb and rocket them to hell.

It is not too late...it will definiely aid the Republican cause in Jaceria and possibly win the battle and end the war. Go right ahead!

1 C-17's carrying 100 Elite troops with FC-57's to fight scene.

The C-17 is escorted by 2 F-22's with AMRAAM's and JDAM's, and 10 A-10's with Mavericks, rockets and cluster bombs.

The Democratic Forces have held the breach, but their reserves are wearing thin and the Imperials have preparred to launch the last assault with everything they have left. Tanks and men storm toward the breached wall and it's defenders.

"If we die...we die with honor."

It was then that a flash of light temporarily blinded the defenders as explosions erupted from the enemy lines as countless troops and equipment was destroyed by Freedom Country and Cirdanistan aircraft. Then from the sky heading towards Democratic troops were not bombs, but men from FC. The FC elite team leader hurried over to the Democratic Commander.

"As we flew in we some friends of yours that should be arriving any minute."

And sure enough, General Titus' army had arrived, piercing the Imperial ranks from behind. Caught unprepared and by surprise, the Imperials suffered mass casulaties numbering close to 5,000 men. It would only be a matter of time before the Imperial Forces would be destroyed...

A couple of B-52's with Anti-Personnel Cluster Bombs and precision Bunker Busters are being sent imminently.

And we greatly appreciate that service. We eagerly await the arrival of those B-52s...

The B-52's, fully laden with cluster bombs, dived towards the panicking crowds.

20 Bombs dropped from each, and the MA-10 escorts dived in to strafe.

The 1,000 commandos charged, using the chaos as cover, and got within 20 metres of the Imperials before laying down Automatic fire and Grenade fire on the troops and tanks.

Post imperial losses.

By dawn, the Imperials had suffered the loss of over half of their troops and their commanding officer. The next in the Imperial chain of command surrendered his forces to General Titus.

Thus with the rise of the sun, the victory of the Battle of Mirith Tynen marked the end of the short but violent war that rocked the two nations of Freedom Country and Jaceria. Soon the Emperor will be tried before the people and the Republic will return...

We wish to send one of our lawyers to prosecute the emperor.

And we feel proud to have crushed this menace to the peace of our world.

We greatly appreciate the offer and request that they come immediately. The Trial shall be starting very soon. Peace Talks shall commence immediately and all countries involved in the conflict (and not just bribing countries on this thread) are welcome to attend.

The trial will be held in the Chamber of Justice located in the Halls of Matthias, the seat of the new Judicial Branch of the Jacerian government in the capital.
