Civil Disorder in Oregia
A room centered by a pedestal with the two flags of Oregia, one the white and red, the other blue with gold accents. In the background the fortress seal of the regime. A man steps up to the pedestal, dressed in a olive drab military uniform, he wear the ranking insignia of a officer. He is the Information Minister of Oregia.
“Today, due to some general changes in the regime structure of our government, we have had to close all Embassies, ENN Offices, and Consulates in our borders. All foreigners have been forced to be expelled, for the time being. We are sorry, for any inconvenience, and any treaty violation we have committed against our allies in the United Emirates. The situation should be resolved shortly and all closed borders and embassies will be reopened at that time.
“Also, all claim of any civil unrest, riot, or rebellion in Oregia are entirely denied and are not taking place, this information is being put out by our enemies and is not, in fact, true.”

Emirate News Network
ENN Logo flashes while a Loud Booming Voice says, "Reporting live is Candace Locke along the Drakonian/Oregian Border, on the latest with the Civil Disorder in Oregia."
A beautiful blond woman appears wearing khakis with a forest region behind her. “Welcome to border between the Dominion of Drakonian Imperium and the Holy Empire of Oregia. Where currently the Drakonian border patrols are on high alert.”
As if in response to her comment a massive heavy tank goes rolling by behind her. “With the recent closing of the border and the expulsion of foreigner from Oregia, it appears something deeper is happening in the nation than a simple government reorganization. It is suspect that there is some serious civil unrest and before ENN reporters were expelled some stated to have witnessed riots in several Oregon cities including the capital.”
A IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) drive by behind the twin-barreled machine gun on top being used to scan the forest by the Drakonian soldier sticking up and controlling it. “We suspect that there is a rebellion happening against the sometime corrupt government of Oregia. The recent and now alert United Emirates nations watch closely as more drastic circumstances develop. There were also reports of foreigner that were left in Oregia while the borders were close this remain mysterious and we are unsure as to why.”
The camera pans out over to Oregia where now off in the distance the expanse of forest can be seen and off in the mountains can be seen. “This is Candace Locke reporting live on the Drakonian/Oregian Border.” As she finish off in the distance a flash of light and then a fiery explosion can be seen.
The screen again changes to the ENN Logo and the Loud Booming Voice is heard again saying, "This was a ENN News Bulletin."

The Drakonian Imperium is concerned as to the current events in Oregia the closing of the border and the expulsion of foreigner deeply concerns us. There is also the matter of the face that Oregia has adopted the Drakonian currency. We are very deeply concerned and ask that Drakonian Diplomatic Inspectors can be allowed into the country to allay our concerns.

A man steps up to the pedestal, dressed in a olive drab military uniform, he wear the ranking insignia of a officer. He is again recognizable as the Information Minister of Oregia.
“I am here to again address you, to help our neighbors put aside there fears. As proof of the non-existence of any Civil Disorder whatsoever in Oregia, the Emperor-General Ivan Petrov himself will speak himself.”
The Information Minister gestures off to the side and in a second a massive man is visible he has a chiseled face and dirty blond hair. Wearing what also appears to be a military uniform the Emperor-General’s is much more ornate, trimmed with gold and purple and with a great purple cape with more gold trim the Emperor-General is an impressive sight, even though he seems slightly foreign to the other Oregians. His speak also comes slightly slurred as if English the national language of Oregia is not his first language, but these things are quickly put aside by the impressive figure he is and how immensely he towers over the Information Minister as he gets out of the Emperor-General’s way.
“Hello, members of the United Emirates and other international viewers. I am here to show you that there is no Civil Disorder, as you now. Oregia is a strong and proud nation and our people believe in their government to such an extend that Civil Disorder of any kind is unthinkable. As my…our Information Minister has said we are simply reorganizing some archaic bureaucratic office to better govern and help the Oregian people. I thank you for you patience and understanding.”
There was the sudden loud sound of an explosion as the room shakes and pieces of ceiling collapse. Oregia Imperial Guards rush around the Emperor-General and help him out of the room.
If the Emirate of Oregia is in need of assistance, we would gladly be of some help.
We could spare some help if you need it.

We can send a mobile oppression force, if you are okay with robotic soldiers.

A man steps up to the pedestal, dressed in a olive drab military uniform, he wear the ranking insignia of a officer. He is again recognizable as the Information Minister of Oregia.
“I am sorry for what appeared to be a sudden rebel attack, but it appears that one of our military tanks accidentally fired on this building. We would like to reassure all nations that it was not an act of Civil Disorder, but merely a simple accident. We also thank all nations for their offers of support, but none is needed as there are no Civil Problems in Oregia. We not-the-less thank you anyway for you support. If you still feel it necessary to help the Oregia government we would submit to Financial Assistance to calm International Concerns.”
The building is again suddenly shaken violently with a loud explosion. Then another. In the distance gunfire can be heard to be getting louder and more constant. Within seconds the Information Minister is rushed of the stage by soldiers. In a few more seconds several more soldiers go running through the room. One getting hit in the back with bullets and falling dead to the floor. More men go running through the room firing at the fleeing soldiers. They are a motly bunch some wearing military helmets and armed with various weapons. One stepped onto the stage and behind the bullet-ridden pedestal.
“We implore those nations watching to aid us in our fight for freedom. The Oregian government has become increasingly corrupt and oppressive lately and we the Oregian people will not stand for it any longer. We will be free and we ask for your help. For Oregia! For the Oregon Liberation Front!”
The people of Terra Laga would like to voice their concerns about what appears to be an escalating situation in Oregia. We have mobilized our troops along our borders and our preparing to stop any and all Oregia dissenters for questioning. However we will offer them asylum from persecution in Oregia. We ask that the Oregian government establish control of the situation before it expands to other nations in the United Emirates.

ENN Logo flashes while a Loud Booming Voice says, "Reporting live is Candace Locke along the Drakonian/Oregian Border, on the latest with the Civil Disorder in Oregia."
A beautiful blond woman again appears wearing khakis with a deeply forest region visible behind her. “Welcome to border between the Dominion of Drakonian Imperium and the Emirate of Oregia. Where currently the Drakonian border patrols are still on high alert. And now there are confirmed reports that an entity calling themselves the Oregon Liberation Front is attempting to overthrow the government of Oregia.”
A pair of light tanks go rolling by and stop in the background behind her. “It appears that whatever or whoever this group is that they have attempted to kill the leader of the Emirate of Oregia and that there fighting going on in the Oregian capital city of Salem. But still there is little that is known about the happenings in Oregia as almost all foreigner, but a possible select group, have been thrown out of the country.”
An IFV goes driving by away to right, away from the Oregian border, at high speeds. “And now both the government of the Drakonian Imperium and Terra Laga appear to be mobilizing to meet this unknown threat. With the movement of significant elements of the Drakonian Home Guard Fleet, including the newly completed Carrier IDS Wyvern, to off the coast of Oregia the situation seems increasingly tense.”
There is a loud explosion off in the distance and the camera pans over a valley in Oregian territory where smoke is rising from a village. Seconds later a loud flash and another explosion rock the town. The camera pans back to the reporter. "We just saw it appears that fighting between the Oregian government and rebels is happening all over that nation. What will happen next is uncertain, but it appear that war has engulfed Oregia. This is Candace Locke, reporting live." Drakonian soldier go running behind the reporter apparently reacting, if the fighting spills over the border.
The screen again changes to the ENN Logo and the Loud Booming Voice is heard again saying, "This was a ENN News Bulletin."
The Drakonian Imperium is ordered to withdraw all naval vessels from near are waters. Force will be met with Force if necessary. We do not want war, but we will fight for it. We also advise Terra Laga that any Lagan troops sited in the Oregian territory in the western Great Basin will be fire upon. If those nations that border us do not back down on their offensive stances Oregia will be forced to pull out of the United Emirates alliance. This warning is final, back down and allow us to deal with our government reorganization and nation stabilization in peace.

The Drakonian Imperium is acting to protect it assets (the official use of it's own currency) in Oregia and will not "back down" on it's defensive deployment of the Imperial Drakonian Military. We have suspected that geo-political instability (mainly centered in Oregia) was the cause for our semi-recent economic recession and our suspicians have been confirmed. Hence, we are acting to prevent further recessions or even depressions in the Greater Drakonian Economy (which includes the Drakonian Imperium, Baradossia, and Oregia). It is also important to note that a succession from the United Emirates by Oregia would force us to take military action, because it would further destabilize our economy and be an open thread to all members of the United Emirates. The instability in Oregia presents a great political and economic thread to the Imperium and can not be ignored. Consider yourself forwarned Drakonia will not tolorate further trouble from Oregia.

Baradossia, resquest permission to send Humanitarian Aid to help alleviate the suffering of the civillian citizens of Oregia. We also request that every diplomatic effort be made to stop Oregia's succession and the rebellion in Oregia. If necessary Baradossia will serve as the location of Diplomatic Talks between all parties.

"General, I think we can crush them if we strike soon." The young officer's point was correct, but the Lagan Army still had no idea of the distribution of Oregon army. With all the confusion and civil disorder, they had no idea what they would hit, if they invaded.
"You must be patient, Captain." The old general stood. "Old Ivan is a crafty man. Why do you think we lost the Great Basin in the first place." There was a long pause as General Peter Mitiv thought over everything. "He's a dangerous warrior. Just look at how he laid out his forces along the border of the Demilitarized Zone." The General thought again for a moment.
"Yes, General," the young officer replied. "That is true, but if the everything goes according to plan we should be able to forces them back. Make him have to fight three wars. One against his people and then we make him fight on two front against us. It will all be over shortly and the Great Basin Territory will once again be ours." The young captain waited for the his elder commander's reply staring down at the map that had taken General Mitiv's attention.
"The invasion plan should work," the General finally said. "But things seldom go as planned and we must wait for the diplomatics in any event, before we go." The General slumped back in his chair and glanced at the phone waiting for the call. When would it come, he asked himself. When would it come?
"Then we wait," the officer asked.
"Then we wait," General Mitiv repeated. "Then we wait."

Due to recent breakout conflict with the Manmen Kabal which took control of the Nation of Raem in a Coup (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=56713), the Drakonian Naval Forces sitting off the coast of Oregia have been either recalled or removed to a save distance from the Oregian Waters. For now, there will be no Drakonian Intervention in Oregia, but if the situation is not rectified then eventually, action will be taken.
