Metal Gear REX Time Period
METAL GEAR REX
Standard Mech Defence Machine
Walking Battle tank [WGT] - REX0023b
The Rail Gun is the Metal Gear Rex's most important weapon. By using an inexpensive and lightweight new nuclear weapon made from recycling plutonium from dismantled warheads, a cheap nuclear missile can be launched from the Rail Gun mounted on the mobile walker unit (Rex). This is set to revolutionize warfare, both strategically and economically. Long distance low altitude nuclear attacks are now possible using Rex, and this is a major selling point of the machine itself. The Metal Gear Rex is the first self-mobile nuclear launching device. The Metal Gear Rex project is a Black Project (the government will disavow any knowledge of it), much more confidential than any other secret projects in the aerospace and military weapon industries. All further data is CLASSIFIED MOST SECRET.

it can be relatively modern, just expect to spend about 100 billion researching the technology and testing it, and another 50 billion to construct each one... which i seriously doubt you can afford.
and fyi, infer-red ain't a word :)
Infrared
On second thought, put it in future tech. The only reason it was built relatively modern in MGS2 was because the government (the Sons of liberty or whatever) had far more advanced tech than the worl would know. remember?

Couldn't the same situation possibly be present in his nation, where a certain group of people hold onto technical secrets thought to be far beyond the time? It's his nation; let him do what he wants with it.
Besides, his nation is almost two months older than yours. I've seen your storefront thread (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=70101&highlight=). Maybe you should check if that's reasonable?

Metal Gear REX wasn't in MGS2.
That was Metal Gear RAY and Arsenal Gear.
Well, they made reference to it, plus its design was apparently distributed far and wide by that point. I know I'm splitting hairs, but REX did exist in MGS2. It's just that no one saw it.

Yeah, I thought he was talking about the Metal Gear in the hold of the marine ship.

Oh, he might easily have been, but that version of Metal Gear didn't have the rail gun, and the photo link was REX, I'm pretty sure. Anyway, it's not really important.
of course the specifications listed at the top will not be finnal stats used for the unit. they will be modified and shaped around the feedback i get.

I'm sorry, but I can't allow you to sell these. I've had the copyright on them for months in Camdeans copyright page. Hold on, getting proof.
Ah, here it is.

This shows that you cannot create and sell the Rex unless you ask me first.
In case you overlook it.....
The company of Sigma Octavus General Productions has created a new weapons system to be used outside of battlefields to strike at opposition.

Oh, dear Ben, stil flogging this one to death. I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times;
YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET AWAY WITH ANY MORE THAN THREE OF THESE THINGS!!!!!
And I believe that anyone who says they have a secret organisation with techs so much beter than anyone else would widely be accepted as a Godmodder.
And I'm not sure if copyrighting a weapon is exactly legal either. But that aside, since you have been working with them, what time period do you use them in and how many?
i enjoy the bumps, but why cant people see that metal gears are just gundams?
