The New Blyclaaf
Blyclaaf

Around the above-ground airbase "Armadia", a new town sprung up from the ground. Although, made mostly of timbers and some metals and roads are only gravel, or in some places, still grass around the bush-like area, the place was still inhabitable. Many men, who took axes from the Airbase Emergency Box, began to fell trees, then attempted to slab them, mostly resulting in personnal injury. The women and children began to move their valubles from their old, underground mansions, to the wooden huts that were not properly made, with roofs having small holes and loose wall boards, but until more aid could be given and the economy was to be revived to what it used to be, it was to be home. A sign was raised on the four sides of the perfectly square town, saying, in very roughly carved out words,
"Welcome to the first city of the new Blyclaaf, Tobruq-grad."
A hundred military transport helicopters made a beeline for the island that hosted Blyclaaf. The choppers carried troops and supplies to help in the rebuilding and keeping order of the city. Those troops stationed at Eaglin were also expected to make their way to the surface and help out.
When they arrived at the Blyclaafian airbase they quickly and efficiently unloaded, though many were tempoarily blinded by the bright light of the surface world.
"Wonder who runs this joint?" asked the human commander Daron to no one in particular. Daron wasn't exactly a young man, nor exactly what you would call a tall man, yet he did have a certain magnetism to him that helped him greatly in diplomatic errands such as this.
Most of the Aranian soldiers were sent to look for a place where they could pitch their tents while a small guard followed Daron into the city to find an authority figure.

After he built his new hut, Jeremy Noakes sat in the corner of his very small home, still empty as he no longer had any possesions, apart from a semi-auto matic rifle, a bayonet for it, and a helmet, which was commisioned to him when he joined the army, near the end of the Arani-Blyclaaf conflict. Thoughts of his wife, who lived in Taograd, rushed through his mind, and pictures of his parents, who lived next door, filed him with sorrow, until he began to cry. As the tears ran down his face, he heard the sound of the massive engines of the Aranian helicopters. His mind filled with rage, he grabbed the rifle, and pushed the bayonet down through his belt, and went to see who he can rally up to get revenge for the innocent people that were killed.
General Thompson was standing out on the airstrip, waiting for the Aranian commander to see what he could do. His attention was drawn to a young man, in his mid-twenties, run out of a small hut, with a helmet on his head and a rifle in his hands. The General turned to a Captain, who was standing there with his squad standing behind him, and said, "Go see what in the hell that idiot's up to!"
"Sir, yes, Sir!" the Captain said as he raced off, with the other men trailling along behind him.

When the soldiers caught up to Noakes, about three or four hundred metres away in the bushland that inhabits the surface, he turned, with a crazy look on his face, as he longed for revenge. The Captain walked over to him, and put is hand on Noakes' shoulder. "What in the hell are you doing!?" he said. Noakes didn't reply with words. He made a swift movement and shoved the bayonet into the Captains chest and he dropped to the ground, already dead. Noakes looked up at the other men, and he said, "I am here to destroy the villians here, the Aranians. If you wish, you may join me, but, if you try to stop me, you shall be terminated." The Sergeant looked back at the bunch of men behind him and said, "If we stay here, those Aranians may turn on us and kill us all while we are vulnerable, we shall help you."
Although the rest of the squad joined up, a young twenty year old didn't want to, but he gave them all the extra ammunition he had, and told them that he would tell Thompson that they were KIA.
Daron walked up the airstrip with an escort of five, all armed in the traditional Arani way with swords hanging sheathed on their belts, as wel as holding guns in their hands. Daron halted when he was still ten metres away from the Blyclaafian general.
"General Thompson I presume? I'm Daron, Qu'el'saruk of Arani. My force has come to help you in holding order here and getting Blyclaaf back on its feet."
All through his opening speech Daron kept his hand on the hilt of his sword, ever distructful of those who were his enemies not so long ago.

"Ah yes, it's about time you got here. Ok, seeing how you are here to help, you can help build the place." With that General Thompson went off into his office in the airbase to try and see what other Generals were alive, and to get the men underneath to start coming up.
Noakes and his new force of Freedom Fighters moved to the cleared area of ground where the Aranian helicopters landed. There, the Aranians that were sent over were setting up tents and other things. Noakes aimed at the closest person that he could see, and fired. The other men followed his actions and bullets were sprayed into the new Aranian camp.
The bullet struck the man next to him in the chest, causing him to fall flat on his face in the mud.
"Alert! We are under attack," shouted a young and thoroughly unimportant soldier named Thiel as he dived for the relitive cover of a nearby helicopter.
The well trained warriors soon recovered from the surprise attack and raced to Thiel's call, firing their weapons with great accuracy at the Blyclaafians. Despite fighting in the light they were still an elite force, and fought as such.
Many were able to take some form of cover, whether it be behind a helicopter or a tent. The surprise attack had taken some toll on them however, with ten dead and several others wounded.

Noakes lay on the ground, with a bullet in his chest and two more in his right shoulder. Bleeding, he pulled the bayonet from the front of the rifle. He started to shake, and blood kept on pouring out of the massive hole in his chest. With thoughts of his wife, his parents, and his fallen comrades on the now blood-stricken area of bush around the Arani camp, he pushed the bayonet into his chest, peircing his heart. And with this, he whispered, "It was worth it."
After the firefight had stopped several Arani soldiers made their way over to where the bodies lay, poking and prodding them in search of any sign of life.
"Sir, these ones wear Blyclaafian army uniforms," reported Thiel to his superior.
"This'll put Thompson in the shitter," chortled the Velve. "We may even be able to call for the disbanding of the Blyclaafian military! Someone get the stupid rivvil over here and lets see how well he smooth talks," the Velve gave a cocky grin and marched off.
Over a loud speaker came the message, "General Thompson, report to the Arani landing zone immediatly! General Thompson, Thou art in deep shit!"
General Thompson, after arriving at the camp, asked a soldier where he could find who he was supposed to see.
The soldier grinned broadly, mockingly, "Methinks you'll be finding a mightilly pissed Qu'el'saruk Daron over in his tent over there," he said pointing and in a cheeky tone of voice
Thompson moved over to the tent, wondering what the hell it could all be about. He yelled into the tent, "Thompson here."
"Get the hell in here then y' stupid gol!" came a voice from the tent.
Thompson entered, looking confused, and said "What do you want?"
Daron glared at him icilly, "You may be interrested to know, General, that about twenty of your men have been killed..."
"What!" Thompson glared back at him in disbelief, which quickly turned into anger, "That is in complete violation of the conditional surrender!"
"Oh but it isn't... Not when your men are launching a raid on my mens camps!" Daron stood up, fury seemed to radiate from him.
Thompson looked back at him, almost as angry, "My men haven't done shit!"
"Oh... really?" he clapped his hands twice and three soldiers walked in. Two supported the body of an Arani soldier, the other one carries a Blyclaafian head on a pike
Thompson looked at the head on the pike "Holy shit, That's one of the men that were sent after that bloke," he said.
"That it is. Now why, may I ask, is his head here instead of firmly attached to his body and doing whatever pointless errand you sent him on?"
"I have no idea why he is here, or at least his head is here, but,, while waiting for you and your men, I saw a young looking fellow run of with a rifle and a helmet, and I sent a few men after him."
"I want you to get your men to identify the bodies we have recovered, and then I want you to tell me who their families are. And then we shall see whether your men shall disobey again."
"You will leave the people ALONE!!" Thompson yelled as he thumped his hands on the table.
Daron cracked his knuckles and leaned back in his seat, "Oh, you think so?" he said as if amused
"Yes, I do think so! Thompson said with a blank look on his face.
Daron smiled infuriatingly, "Well, you just keep on believing that."
"Okay, look, If you leave the Blyclaafian people alone, I will personally find out who is responsible and execute them, or give them to Arani" Thompson siad, almost sounding as if he were desperate.
"Oh, you can do that as well of course, but we must make... examples."
*"Look, you have already made a big F*CKING EXAMPLE OF WHY WE SHOULDN"T F*CK WITH ARANI!! These people were the stupid ones, and most probably the only stupid ones left. No one else will attack your forces. That is a promise!"
Daron's voice dropped to an icy whisper, "There are always stupid ones, the stubborn ones, the heroic ones. Those that attacked us were the stupid ones, but those who are intelligent may still thirst for revenge. Only stupid people would use 20 people to attack 1000. But intelligent people could do much more. Making this example will solve the problem."
"Okay, just because your country is now led by the most evil of beings left on this planet, doesn't mean you can act like him. It was HIM who ordered for the flooding. If you are making these orders to please him, get him down here and let him find them himself!" Thompson eyes stared straight into Daron's, the hatered of Annilon just beaming off of them.
Before Thompson could blink there was a dagger at his throat, "Fool. Traitorous fool. You have no idea of how stupid what you said just was."
"No, you are just saying that because you know it is true. If you wish to listen to him, that is your desision, but now, you are in my country, and if you kill anyone, It can be classified as a Terroist Attack!"
Daron's eyes bored into Thompson's, "Do you honestly think we care?"
"Well, at the moment, no, but don't forget, one day, Both Annilon and Arani will get stung badly by Blyclaaf."
Daron shook his head and lowered the blade, "Guards! Take this traitor away! Find a safe place to lock him up until he can face his trial and inevitable execution."
Two guards race in and attempt to grab Thompson, who just sits there and says, "Traitor, what the fuck are you on about me being a traitor? I have never been loyal to Arani, espesially since the war, now, you can take me away, as long as you don't call me a traitor!"
"Very well, wael. Now take him away."
Thompson doesn't struggle, and is led away to near the centre of the Arani camp. He is placed in a tent with several guards, one always having a dagger at his throat. Guards encircle the outside of the tent facing outwards.
In the centre of the town a crucifix is errected.

Upon hearing of the capture of their new leader, the military quickly planned an offensive, that if done correctly, may save Thompson and releive Blyclaaf of the Aranian legacy, which now holds it by the throat. It will call for a division of Blyclaafian soldiers, plus four thousand militia men, to sneak through the bushland around the Aranian camp and kill everyone there.
Fifty-five minutes later:
Crawling on their stomachs, with their weapons out infront of them, the militia men moved into position, and waited for the soldiers to move into place.
With their M16s and M60s in their hands, and Panzersheiks on their backs, the soldies moved into place. With them, came a sniper squad and a machine-gun squad. Moving slowly through the jungle, making no more sound than the various animals, the snipers lay down on a bank, where the bush ends and the Aranian LZ begins. They took aim at the men around the tent that Thompson was being held in. Sergeant Porter, of the 12th sniper division took aim at the man that had the dagger to Thompson's throat. He pulled the trigger and only a second afterwoods, so did everyone else.
The man holding the dagger collapsed, a bullet through his chest. As he fell to the ground the dagger he held slid across Thompson's throat, opening a large gash across it. All of those that had been guarding the tent were dead, some with several bullets put through them.
Cries of alarm sprang up and soon the well trained Arani soldiers were taking cover, taking shots into the bush as they went. Ancient Arani battlecries were sounded as they rallied around their leaders from behind whatever obsticles they could find.
Everything that they were doing had been practiced several times before and they accomplished it quickly and efficiently.
Machine guns blazed in the general direction of the Blyclaafian forces in an attempt to pin them down while the umberhulks began to form up.

As the Aranians drew closer, and the semi-automatic .50 cal sniper rifles cracked again, the main infantry stuck their heads and their weapons over the bank, and opened fire on the incoming men.
The militia also began to attack, form the opposite side of the LZ, only they ran into the middle of the area, with their Stens and BRENs blazing out bullets. Most of the untrained Blyclaafians were mowed down by stray bullets from the Blyclaafian soldiers. The ones that weren't killed instantly lay on the ground, muscles twitching, and screaming.
Thompson lay on the ground, suffocating. He saw the shadows of men, running, screaming and falling. Through the holes made in the tents canvas, he saw sunlight. It shone in his face, and he made one huge gasp for air, and the sounds of war came screaming into his head. Cracks of rifles, the bursts of machine-gun fire, the screams of dieing men. Thompson then realised that everything that he had tried so hard to get rid of, to completely stop it, was happening again. Only this time, it was over him.
The Arani soldiers fired and threw grenades into both the ranks of Blyclaafian militia and the snipers in an attempt to cause as much chaos as possible. Heavilly armoured umberhulk riders attacked in a wedge formation in an attempt to drive through the untrained soldiers. Every body their death lances touched fell lifeless to the ground, and those out of range were fired upon by small machine guns. Any that the umberhulks could reach were torn apart by their pincers.
Nevertheless, many Arani soldiers were killed as they fought off the surprise attack, but those that survived were thankful for the ineptness of the Blyclaafian troops.

The militia units that were torn apart by the umberhulks had peices missing, mostly important things, like heads or torsos. Those still left alive just jerked back and forward, as their muscle twitched, knowing they were going to die.
The soldiers stood up, most taking aim at the umberhulks, or very large groups of enemy soldiers, with their Panzershreiks and opening fire, the huge 6 inch shell hurtling towards the targets. The massive .50 cal machine guns tore holes through the helicopters. One of the machine gunners broke his arm when the machine gun jerked upwards whilst firing. The same man then had the broken arm blown of by an Aranian Grenade.
Thompson's body lay on the ground, surrounded by a puddle of blood. Although he was suffocating, it wasn't that that had killed him. A stray BREN round hit him in the back of the head, and ending his suffering.
High in the air above the battle a single figure floated. She laughed in joy and wonder, content as she floated among the clouds. Though she was drow and had lived in the Underdark all of her life, the bright sun had no affect on her at all.
She was, at that moment, content.
Frowning slightly as the sounds of battle reached her dark elven ears she floated lower. The death cries of human, elf, and umberhulk alike stirred darker emotions within her. Her mind went racing back to her time within Annilon's dungeons, the pain, the agony all came flooding back.
At that moment she became the perfect incarnation of Fury.
'These mortals,' she thought bitterly. 'Here they fight among themselves. Why?"
Enraged she scanned the battlefield, a shimmering sword appeared in her hand and burst into flame. Her mind expanded, her metapsychic powers enhanced by her rage.
With a terrific scream of frustration she hurled a mindbolt, fully intending to end the fighting in a single stroke. 'Surely,' she thought as the crackling rod of energy flew from her outstretched fingers, 'they shall stop their petty squabbles when the are beset from above."
The mindbolt flashed through the air at lightspeed, slamming into the ground in what was almost the centre of the battlefield. A blue mushroom shaped bubble appeared, seeming to hang there for a second before expanding with the sonic boom following it up. The earth was ploughed up in huge amounts and sent flying through the air. The heat wave incinerated all in its path, which consisted of both armies and all the equipment they had bought with them. The forest disappeared into a charred cinders and munitions exploded in miniature fireballs amongst the chaos.
Di'yerni watched, wide eyed and horrified. Never had she meant to cause such destruction, it was unthinkable that she would. These people had not stood in the way of her plans. How could she have let this happen?
But it was too late now. All that was left below her was a large, deep crater. All that was left of the forest directly around the blast was a few black stains of ash, though forest fires now raged in the distance.
Fury consumed her. 'Annilon,' she thought. "Annilon! Where are you!" her scream cut through the silence that had replaced the sounds of battle. "Annilon, this is what you have made me," her voice had dropped to a whisper full of contempt and loathing.
Then there was nothing as she transported herself back to Arani with a thought. Di'yerni wished for her revenge, the Fury would make it a reality.

With the war with Arani now gaining momentum once more, and the massive metapsychic mindbolt that wiped out everything on the surface of the island, a plan was formed by Field-Marshall Olster, General Hargel and General Blitz to evacuate everyone from the current position on the large island they are on, to three medium sized islands north of Blyclaaf. Using the three carrier fleets that they have on Lend-Lease, up to 40,000 men and women can be moved to the new islands at once.
A letter was sent to Annilon.
"Annilon,
We a proposing a truce between our countries, as we are going to move ourselves and we do not wish to have any Aranian interferance.
Field-Marshall Olster."
Seeing that Annilon was caught up in demon summoning the important comminication was passed onto his advisor Nazgar, who took one look and laughed.
'Field-Marshall Olster,
A truce we have had, a truce you have broken. Why should be believe you? Why should we even consent to you moving islands? Much less without our interferance. Every ship that leaves Blyclaaf will be inspected, those who we consider to be troublemakers or rebels will be detained. The majoritory of the Blyclaafian army must stay behind for the time being. Arani checkpoints will be established. This is our deal, take it or leave it.
Annilon.'
Blyclaaf
01-08-2003, 13:50
Another letter was sent to Nazgar.
"A truce, we never had. We had surrendered to you, and we had a minor uprising that the Aranian soldiers took care of. When Daron kidnapped General Thompson, we had to act, so that Annilon wouldn't torture, or do experiments, on him. That was a policing action, and can not be seen as another war. If you want to take prisoners, you surely must expect to have some people try to rescue them. And most of the casualties of that policing action, were from that mindbolt. If any Blyclaafian is taken prisoner, you and your people will have a high price to pay.
Field-Marshall Olster"
'Well, in that case you have violated the terms of surrender and we demand an appology for those that you killed. We reserve the right to arrest anyone we damn well please, as part of our policing of Blyclaaf and of the terms of surrender. General Thompson was a traitor and would have died a traitor's death.
Four thousand men is hardly a rogue force. It takes someone with a military brain in order to plan and stage such an attack. You should consider yourselves fortunate that we do not order the disbanding of the Blyclaafian military.
And as to that last threat, we hearby point the Mithril Finger at you. If you still wish to battle with one of the world's superpowers then please do try, but I warn you, you shall fare worse than us.'

The ramps from the carriers landed on the ground with a massive thump. Hundreds of men and women, carrying personal belongings and building tools. Army officers guided platoons to carry supply's onboard the frigates. Arms, in crates, were loaded into the rooms of the ships and many people chose to sit on the runway part of the ship.
After three and a half hours:
The first fleet sets sail for the closet of the three islands, Adau.

The massive carriers and the smaller ships swayed ontop of the ocean, towards the island of Adau. In the distance, they saw two trimarean warships that had Aranian symbols on them. Aranian soldiers boarded the massive ships, andafter a few hours of interrogation, took several men and women prisoner. Blyclaafian soldiers stoods in the backround, and watched as the people were taken into Aranian custody, deeply hury that there was nothing that they could do. As the last of the Aranians left the ship, the massive motors started up again, and the journey to the new home continued.
The ten people which had been branded as 'rebels' were dragged aboard the Arani ships. One or two struggled, but gave that up after the first round of beatings. They were taken below deck and thrown into small, cramped cabins. Every so often someone would come down to bash them or interrogate them extensivly.
The ship stayed in where it was, waiting for the next round of Blyclaafian ships to come by.

The ramps fell to the ground, and Soldiers and Marines ran down them, weapons at the ready. The ships were to stay at their current position until a basic camp was set up, then they would return and get another load. Claymore mines were used to fell trees, and some small animals were shot by jumpy soldiers. The Marines moved inland of the jungle covered island, marking out spots for building and bunkers. The Army, after the Claymore's felled most of the trees, about 100 metres inland from the LZ.
SIX HOURS LATER:
A fairly large camp was set up, to act as shelter for the 40,000 men and women for the night. The kanvas tents were cold and were rather crowded, but no one really complained that much. The ships had taken off back towards the old Blyclaaf.

ABOUT THREE WEEKS AFTER THE LAST POST:
A town was set up, capable of looking after the 40000 people on the island. Expeditions had been all around the island, finding nothing of great importance, except for an old, burnt out aircraft shell, and an anti-aircraft gun, welded together with rust. Supplies will be scarce, until the Aranian ships are destoryed.
OLD BLYCLAAF:
It was decided, that, instead of moving everything to the islands, to simply 'unflood' the flooded parts. Der Angst has special machines that can remove the water. A message was sent to Der Angst, explaining what Mr Gafety, the new Blyclaafian President, wanted.

"Well... do we send the stuff?"
"Yes. We are interested in Annilon loosing this conflict, we are interested in Arani becoming... less of a threat, and helping Blyclaaf can only be useful in achiving this goals."
Only hours later, the orders were out, and workers on different airports, in facilities and on the roads were busy transporting the giant pumps, the diving equipment, the materials to close the 'holes' between the former nation of Blyclaaf and the sea.
The divers prepared for their transport as well, it would be their first stake abroad.
"Don`t worry, Blyclaaf forces will protect you, so it should all go perfectly well."
"Ummm... they LOST that war..."
"Just in the case something happens, we will send guards with you. Light equipment, but better than nothing. [ooc: light equipment in a nation full of cyborgs is actually controversial...]. However, this is supposed to be humanitarian help, so they wont fuck around with Arani forces. Just do your job, and come back. Thats it."

Four Black Hawk helicopters took off, their rotors stirring up the leaves and dust that had placed themselves over the run way, and throwing them away. Men, armed with assault rifles, some with sniper rifles and others with explosives, climbed into the two chinooks that were warming up, ready to take off. The duel rotors made a sound nearly unbearable to the officers left on the ground, holding their hands over their ears, attempting to block out the noise. Fifteen minutes later, the chinooks left the ground, the roars of the engines disappearing in the distance. The four F1-11s were loaded with missiles and one with napalm, and were ready to take off. The order was given, and the first one took off down the runway, lifting off the ground as the jet engines carried it off into the distance. The other three followed shortly after, everyone of these vehicles were heading to a spot that the Der Angst epuiptment will land.

*decides to reply, as Arani seems to busy to care*

ic:
Finally, after a long and exhausting flight, the transporters, guarded by a few fightersquadrons (which immediately turned back), arrived.
They weren`t too many, ~ 100 civilians (technicans) for the actual work at the 'hole' to the ocean, a support staff of the same size, and ~ hundred Infantrists as defence purposes.
With them, they brought masses of pumps, and all neccessary equipemnt to make them work in an underground nation like Blyclaaf.
The chief engineer went to one of the higher ranked Blyclaafians that waited for him: "So... for today, we will need to unload, and to secure our position. Tomorrow, we can begin to close this damn hole from where the flood came. What we need is rather detailed data on where it is, how large, etc. Also, i sincerely hope you can provide us enough cover, afaik the hole is quite near to the Aranian border..."

The Captain, with his M1 Garand rifle strapped across his shoulder, looked around at the scrub that surrounded their current position, and turned back to the Der Angst Cheif-Engineer.
"The hole is about 200 metres from the beach in that direction" he said, and raised his right hand in the direction of south-west. "The size, we aren't to sure about that, but, mathematically wise, it should be about thirty feet wide, plus a few small collapsions along the way."
The Captain then proceeded to call out to a Sergeant-Major, who was breaking up a fight between two privates.
"Yessir?" The Sergeant-Major said, carrying his Thompson sub-machine gun in his hands.
"How capable are we of defending the divers that are looking for this hole?" the captain, who's face was scared from an old training accident said, his rough voice echoing through the area.
"Only just, sir. But I don't think Arani will attack us with Der Angst around." The young man said, gripping the handle on the gun.
"Good. We are adequately fit to defend your engineers." the captain said, turning back the the Cheif-Engineer, with a goofy grin on his face.

The next day:
They got up in early morning.
The equipment was all packed, adn quickly, they started driving to the beach.
It was a rather rainy day. "Damn, we aren`t even in the water but already wet!"
The Blyclaafian guards secured the area around them... not to long until they would reach the beach.

The guard sqinted under the hood of his coat, that was failing at protecting him from the rain. His face was soaking wet, his pack completely drenched. It was something that him, and the other Blyclaafians had never experienced before. There faces had changed over the last few minutes. The news of Blyclaaf standing firm against the Arani onslaught that was to follow spread quickly amongst high command, and only minutes later the lower ranks heard about it. These men were scarred. It showed strongly in their faces. They knew that if Arani were to attack, it would be them that would face them.
Der Angst

Fascinating enough, they weren`t attacked on their way to the coast. While the DA guards, together with the Blyclaafian resistance, set up a defence perimeter around the sector, the civilian underwater specialists, some of whom took part in building the underwater port 200km south of DA, prepared to 'go down'.
And hours later, they did.
The water was cold, and not very clear, but relatively quiet. Slowly, they dived down, deeper, deeper...
After a hundred meters, darkness encased them, and their light needed to do the search for them, although the build- in sonar some of them had worked quite efficient, too.
With them were a few guards with underwater- 'weaponery'... in case sharks would suddenly appear. Or the sharks of underdark, Annilons men, for that matter.
It took them quite some time, but in the end, they located the hole.
"If it just weren`t that near to Arani..." One of the divers grumbled, cursing. "I feel like i`m their next meal."
Above the surface, they got ready to lift down the equipment neccessary to close the hole...
Meanwhile the director of the operation had a few other questions for the Blyclaafians:
"Btw... between your nation, i mean, the part that is currently flooded... and Arani... any direct connections between them, connections Arani might have closed before they started the flooding?"
Blyclaaf
01-10-2003, 14:04
Captain Dale Arred took the question and tried to remember back to the days of the Arani-Blyclaaf conflict.
"If the reports that I read are correct, both of the two tunnells were destroyed. One is on Arani's side of the border, the other our side of Eaglin. The hole is only about 100 metres from the great big pile of dust at Eaglin, so there is no way for Aranian troops to move towards us. If you could, open up the tunnel at Eaglin, to let our forces liberate Eaglin back to us." He nodded slightly, then turned on his heel and walked away.
Hundreds of men were lined up on the edge of the water, watching the Der Angst men work. A conversation broke out between a Lance-Corporal and a Private.
"Bloody dumb mongrels, doing all of this for us." Lance-Corporal Fischer said.
"You take that back now!" Private Noate snapped back at him.
"No, fuck off you stupid little half wit."
20 MINUTES LATER:
Noates was drug off of Fischers half dead body. Blood was sprayed all over the place. Noates hand was red, and was obviously broken from the way he was handling it. Fischer was unconsious and Noates was taken in for medical treastment and Court Marshal.

"Well... your troops... ok, but... something else... We would like to enhance the unflooding process... you see, all the puimps, the masses of pipes to build to the coast... thats work that will keep you busy for months... of course, if you intend to enhance that process by flooding someone else... well, we have the equipment."

Hearing those words made Arred turn back around.
"You aren't saying that we should flood Arani, are you? Well, you can't do it at Eaglin. There's too many Blyclaafians there. We need to take that city as unharmed as possible." He said, as the wind picked up and the rain began to hammer on his face. He removed his slouch hat and squatted down on the ground thinking about this new problem that had been brought up. He then stood up and walked over to the Der Angst engineer.
"I will take full responsiblity over the following action if anything is to go wrong. Do it!"

ooc: I have Aranis permission to go ahead...

"Very well, then... i will inform my superiors, the equipment to stage such an operation should be here by tomorrow... of course, we have to fix that stuff, AND the hole down there, but i think... well, we WILL be successful." He gave a wild grin, obviously, he enjoyed the though.

"And there it comes..." They communicated telepathically, here, 600 feet below the surface, in the darkness of the sea. Here, the romantic blue of the sea was replaced by a darkness that made one fear... fear what is beyond it.
However, the equipment came down, and they begun their work. It wouldn`t be done in one day, that was for sure...
---
Meanwhile, in DA, a group of planes was loaded... smaller ones, fighters, as their escort, larger ones, 40 ton transporters, with the mini- subs they intended to use...
However, they wouldn´t arrive until tomorrow...

ooc: Love it when Arani AND Blyclaaf are practically dead <.<

While the work was going on, the director had some more questions for the Blyclaafians.
"Of course, we can`t do something like that for free... while it somewhat serves our interests, we need future guarantees... Well, to put it bluntly... as you`re an underground nation... well, you were... anyway: From what you remember: What kinds of... useful... ressources does Blyclaaf possess? Metals, etc, you know what i mean. Raw materials, not industry products."
---
While the discussion about what Blyclaaf would have to pay was going on, the planes arrived. It didn`t take long to unload them, and, while the planes were returning quickly, the equipment they brough with them could be visited: eleven mini- subs, and additional equipment.
---
"Ouch! Hey, pay some attention to what you`re doing!"
"Ah, come on, it didn`t hurt..."
"It DID!"
They communicated telepathically, of course. They still worked here, way below the surface, to close the hole...
Quite successful, 1/3 was already closed, although problems, like 50% of the materials being lost due to 'unfortunate circumstances', showed up... practiacally every minute.

Captain Arred and Sergeant-Major Chips looked back at the Der Angst person who asked the question with puzzled looks on their faces.
"How in the hell am I sposed to know. I'm military and most of our major resource centres are under there." Chips said, pointing down.
Arred stood up and said, "I know. We have a major source of iron that was discovered three days ago on New Blyclaaf, and we have a smallish source of Uranium in the east, where it isn't flooded. As soon as we're finished here, Mr Gafety said that he'll make a mine over there or something. And the Uranium, I think you can have it all. We won't use it. I'll just go check.
Arred disappeared and reappeared within about five minutes. "The Uranium is all yours, we just can't get it out and package it for you though. Your people will have to do that."
NEW BLYCLAAF:
"Jesus Christ!" The call came from the other side of the hill, currently named Hill 013.
The young soldier ran over the hill to see what happened. "What's wrong?" He called back.
"I've stepped on a f--kin' mine, Mike!" his voice was all croaky, and sweat poured down his face faster than a waterfall.
"Holy shit! What do we do? Any ideas?" Mike's voice was even croakier.
"You stupid idiot, go get some f--king help! Hurry, Moron!"
Mike took off over the hill, tripped and rolled down the rest off the way. As he reached the bottom, he heard an explosion, and sand and flesh flew over his head. His eyes began to water as he looked over the top of the hill, and saw half the beach blown away into the ocean. He cried all the way back to the town that had sprung up over the last few days.

"Well, i think we can talk about it after we`re done... with politicians..."
---
A few days later, surprisingly enough without Arani interfering, the hole was finally closed.
"Not to safe, one can blow it up, but it`s better than nothing... now they should be able to unflood without problems."
---
Meanwhile, a DA instructor explained the minisubs to the Blyclaafians...

Shortly after that, they leave Blyclaaf, which is now, once again, alone.
"Sir, what are we going to do about the Der Angst activity around Blyclaaf?" queried Nazgar to King Annilon.
"Precisly nothing. They shall do the task we have long been dreading for us. So long as they don't pull any stunts, we'll leave them be."
"Hmm, right. Everything is still in place sir, and we can launch an assult within minutes if we have to. There are still quite a few vodyanoi in the area."
"Excellent. We'll just have to wait and see then."

Judd sat in his room, pondering whether Arani was going to take any action to stop Der Angst and Blyclaaf doing what they are doing.
"Corporal!" He called through his door.
"Corporal Jenson's out for the rest of the day, sir." Colonel Gargh said as he entered.
"Oh, well, if you can, Colonel, send another hundred thousand troops to where the Der Angst people are. I suspect Arani might do something very soon."
"Yessir."

The Chinooks once again took off to the LZ. More men were packed inside, weapons lying everywhere, helmets and slouch hats sat on heads, as most of them tried to get some sleep before they got there. The remaining men left on the ground began figitting with what ever they could find. Many only cleaned their weapons, or threw stones at targets.
