The Newer England

The first 2 of many military platforms have been completed and are being towed into possition about 100 miles off The Newer England coast. Testing will than take place to insure they are worth the cost and perform as designed. These expensive naval defence platforms are the first of many R&D projects underway within TNE, and we are looking forward to future projects such as: the ultimate sonar and radar systems which will make any type of stelth systems obsolete, satellite based space to earth missles and anti ICBM systems, and many others.
Basic statistics of the military platforms that have been de-clasified are:
> Circular design is 6,525 feet in diameter
> Height to flight deck without stabilizer extended: 3,400 feet
} with stabalizer fully extended: 4,345 feet
} levels above flight deck: 16, 192 feet
> Extendable runways (one on both sides) allows for a runway with a total length of 8,985 feet
> Can hold over 1000 fighter aircraft, 60 bombers, and 350 helicopters
> Crew of 2,130, not including flight crews or crews for any naval vessels
> docking bays for 6 mini-subs
> hard docks for up to 6 regular submarines
> cargo space for thousands of missiles and/or other munitions
> Extensive defences including; missiles of all types, cannons, rockets, torpedoes and depth charges, anti-ICBM systems,
> Hard docks for up to 4 smaller naval vessels
This project has been completed. 12 of these now line the shores of The Newer England, all fully stocked!
