AMS-10 Oppressor Aircraft Carrier

http://agnosticium.20megsfree.com/images/oppressor1.gif

The AMS-10 is the newest aircraft carrier line in the AGNOS Arms inventory. Boasting more aircraft, a larger flight deck and improvements and modernizations, the AMS-10 brings significant firepower to bear for any naval commander. The port elevators were designed specifically with the intention of raising medium bombers to the flight deck, making the AMS-10 capable of launching much larger aircraft than most other carriers. The catapults are rated to propel fully loaded AMB-1 Halo bombers from the decks although such a task is impossible due to the wingspan of the aircraft. However, AMB-3 Havocs CAN be launched and two flights are routinely kept aboard Agnostican vessels. One other improvement is the addition of a fifth catapult, decreasing the amount of time needed to put all aircraft into the air.

With five nuclear reactors powering the ship, the range is unlimited and the near-unlimited power source also allows for innovation to abound with the vessel. Heat from the reactors is collected and dispersed throughout the ship during the colder months and is also used to heat the water for showers, the swimming pool and three hot-tubs. Also, the power is used in flight operations as the four aircraft catapults are all magnetically accelerated instead of the older steam powered systems. By using electromagnetic acceleration, there are fewer maintenance issues and the reliability of the mechanism is increased by over 500%.

When not used for the movement of bombers to the deck, the rear elevator can either be used as two separate lifts, separating about 1/3 of the way, or as one larger lift, supporting up to three fighter aircraft. The deck of the AMS-10 is even larger than that of the AMS-6 Repressor being another 100 feet in overall length and almost 60 more feet wide. Once again we see the use of the FABS (foam anti-breach system) device throughout the composite hull as well as the same hydroponic farms and retractable armor plating that enable those on lower decks to enjoy the sunlight in times of peace. The library of each vessel is delivered to the buyer complete with classical, modern and popular literature as well as “stress relief” sections. This is optional and may be removed per each purchasers request. Further amenities include a mini-mall, a full-sized Olympic pool, three hot tubs and four gyms. The central facility, largest by far also has a 50 foot climbing wall.

Although an increase in size, the improvement of numerous shipboard systems make the Oppressor a more efficient vessel, giving it the ability to support the same overall crew numbers, with only an increase in flight crew.

Defensive armaments are doubled with the Oppressor and each system has an independent targeting computer that is in constant communication with the other systems to prevent system lock-ups and targeting of the same inbound threat.

Constructed of composite materials and plated with chobham-style armor instead of the usual steel and titanium belts, the Oppressor is actually lighter than most other capital ships of similar size and purpose. The hull is separated into 200 different watertight compartments to minimize the damage of anti-ship missiles and the composite materials make for effective heat sinks in the event of a fire.

One stand-out system aboard AGNOS Manufacturing vessels is the FABS (Foam Anti-Breach System) breach-management system that lines all portions of the vessel where water might breach the hull in the event of attack or collision. When activated or after the compartment has been filled halfway with water, the auto-reactive foam particles are ejected into the water and instantly swell and harden, plugging the breach and filling the afflicted compartment with a light composite foam with excellent buoyancy capabilities. In the event that the breach damages the FABS console in a compartment, the foam automatically fires and fills the area.

The Oppressor also has an extremely advanced electronics suite designed to maximize survivability and information flow, as well as disrupt enemy detection efforts. The Goliath II SATDATA imaging system is the primary system for the Oppressor warships, linking in high-speed, multi-spectrum, encrypted data bursts to global satellites to provide an accurate worldwide picture with a zoom enabling the tracking and viewing of objects up to .5m in size. The David IIIS tracking computer works alongside the Goliath and uses the incoming data to create an accurate targeting display and reduces the strain upon the Goliath system. With one simply providing the picture and the other using the data to identify, track and co-ordinate targets, this array is compositely known as the Hercules IV. Each vessel has three Hercules IV tracking systems.

AMG-91 Valiant Infantry Fighting Vehicle

http://agnosticium.20megsfree.com/images/amg-91_valiant.gif

The AMG-91 is the descendant of the AMG-98 by way of mating with a tank. The Valiant is a true infantry fighting vehicle, able to deliver accurate anti-tank and anti-personnel weapons fire in support of the twelve troops held within the hull. Based upon the highly successful Bradley Chassis, the Valiant has upgraded the power plant, armor and survivability of the troops inside to prevent fatalities from RPG and light anti-tank weapon attacks. The main weapon is a 60mm cannon or 132mm barrel for firing AM-16 Scream missiles.

The AE-91D Mind’s Eye targeting and anti-targeting system enables the AMG-91 to achieve maximum potential by enhancing the targeting of enemy forces as well as providing an enhanced defensive atmosphere. When combined with the thick, spaced chobham armor, the AMG-91 can withstand hits of most light anti-tank weaponry to include a direct hit from the SMAW and Javelin systems. TOW and Spandrel munitions have only a 15% success rate against these vehicles on the first shot and only from a rear targeting view.

The Mind’s Eye array is a complex computer system locked within a liquid free-fall chamber to prevent impact damage and is triple redundant. The system co-ordinates IR spotters that redirect their energy at inbound munitions in order to confuse IR target locks while the super-cooled plates themselves help mask the heat signature. The heat from the engine is further run through re-absorbent sinks which divert the thermal energy to the steam wells. These wells are used for close-in defense where they emit a billowing cloud of steam around the vehicle and can be laced with highly reflective mylar particles. This cloud serves two purposes. One is to severely impair the ability of assaulting infantry to close with the vehicle by making it extremely hazardous. Two is to provide protection against laser targeting devices and also provide a large margin of error with optically guided weapons.

The last system used by the Mind’s Eye is the AE-91D2-A GPS scrambler. This emits a band-spanning clutter of electronic noise, effectively jamming GPS co-ordination within a mile radius of the emitting vehicle. This system can be programmed to avoid certain frequencies used by friendly forces and then added into the routine in a Jive-Mark III (derived from Have-Quick) operating mode to prevent ECM from being used against friendly forces and masking the ability to use a single clear channel in imitative radio comms and spoofing.

AMG-102 Eradicator Main Battle Tank

The AMG-102 as designed in direct competition to the AMG-101 Excelsior and AMG-101 Relegator MBTs. Incorporating the advanced drive-train/suspension of the AMG-101(based on LeClerc but improved significantly), the AMG-102 is a more agile MBT than the Excelsior and heavier hitter than the Relegator.

While this makes it a more mobile platform, it also changes the role slightly. Although all three are MBTs, the AMG-100 was designed to get into a slugfest with enemy tanks. It’s large main gun and superheavy armor make it ideal for a straight-ahead advance, enabling troops to use it more effectively as a cover vehicle. The smaller main gun on the Relegator make it slightly less able to deliver the same intensity of firepower but it’s more agile approach to combat make it an excellent flanking vehicle. Where the Excelsior will devastate the center of the enemy, the Relegator will extend the outside lines and crush the flanks. The Eradicator is designed to do both as it incorporates advanced armor technology, a large-bore main gun and superior/more efficient engine than the gas-turbine of the AMG-100 and AMG-101.

The Eradicator has a gyroscopic free-fall stabilizer for the turret enabling the gunner to remain on target even as the driver is juking and jiving in an attempt to avoid enemy fire. Two back-up sighting devices are linked to the gunner’s eye reticle on his helmet’s LCD in case the primary sighting system goes down. One of the systems is located coaxially to the barrel while the other is on a sympathetically moving side mount on each side of the turret. Calibration ensures that the eyes are pointed at the same target as the barrel.

NBC capable, the AMG-102 is also able to submerge up to 5 meters in emergencies. The exhaust system prevents the inflow of water into the engine while internal air stores kep the engine running until the snorkel can be raised. Unfortunately, it has been found that staying at depth for extended periods of time usually result in a tank mired in the bed of the liquid in which it is resting.

Crew escape hatches are located above each of the four positions and when fired, detonate, sending the hatches flying and the seats ejection boosters ignite, burning out at 1000ft at which time a parachute deploys. This is, of course, an optional upgrade to the tank and stock models are not fitted with the ejection seats.

The GodsEye targeting system is the primary means of detection and system used for engagement of the enemy. Using three separate GPS systems to ensure accurate positional data of the tank and working in concert with the laser-rangefinders for accurate target positioning, the Eradicator is extremely accurate. The gyroscopic free-fall stabilizer is computer compensated and the redundant CPUs locked within a gel-based matrix to prevent concussion damage and have proven to be 98% successful after direct hits to the outer armor. The unit is a combination GPS/FLIR/Thermal/Digital Signature array.

The GodsEye targeting array is also capable of basic fire control procedures, taking over in the event of a crew disabling blow to the tank from enemy fire. As the tank will not engage without two of the four crew maintaining pressure upon designated action switches, when three of the four are released, the tank (if the software is included) assumes the auto-engagement role. If designated through the targeting process, the GodsEye system will continue through its progression of targets. Able to designate up to 8 targets, the system queues them and engages them automatically. In this instance, the location of a forward magazine is extremely useful as the optional autoloader selects ammunition from forward stores, preventing the injury of crew members. This feauture of the GodsEye can be disabled, even not included within the delivered software package.

The armor package of the Eradicator consists of an external Chobham layer. In areas in need of increased protection such as the rear of the turret, ERA has been layered on top of the chobham layer, creating a super-protective surface in an area largely targeted by enemy vehicles. reinforced surfaces prevent the ERA from severely compromising the Chobham layer, in essence giving the Eradicator two lives instead of one. beneath this outer armor layer is the CFL, composite fragment layer, composed of high temperature dissipating composite materials and a hardened ceramic lining, designed to improve the usual CERMET armor found as the under layer of Chobham. This is followed by the titanium/depleted uranium/titanium and aluminium shell to further insulate the crew.

By using a thinner layer of DU, the tank is marginally lighter than the Abrams and the incorporation of a higher HP diesel engine give the Eradicator an advantage in speed.

AMS-12 Heroic Class Escort Carrier

The AMS-12 class of vessels were designed with the intent of providing the Navy a suitable aircraft carrier designed mostly for fleet defense and limited offense. The escort carrier’s role is simply to provide a platform from which aircraft can base in their roles as fleet defenders. Smaller by half than the AMS-6 Repressor class, the Courageous class is a fraction of the 4.4 billion dollar cost of the full-sized carrier. Able to carry up to four full squadrons of V/STOL aircraft or three-plus squadron of conventional ground-based fighters, the Heroic and her sister ships give a commander the flexibility of air coverage without the cost of a major carrier.

Following the success of the AMS-8 class escort carriers, the AMS-12 design was lengthened and the capacity increased to provide an even better presence on the naval battlefield. One notable feature is the rear-deck of the vessel which may act as an entire elevator, lowering at the stern to simultaneously raise eight aircraft to the flight deck as well as the two other lifts, allowing for ten aircraft to be readied on the flight deck at once in a matter of minutes where before the multiple lifts on other carriers had to ferry one plane at a time up to the deck.

The AMS-12 has both a ski-ramp and catapults to assist in the launch of conventional aircraft at the expense of being unable to both launch and recover fighters at the same time. However, the Heroic is capable of catapult launching up to three aircraft at once. In the V/STOL launch procedures, up to eight aircraft may lift-off simultaneously for immediate air presence. The presence of AMH-1 attack helicopters also gives the Heroic significant anti-ship and shore support loitering capabilities. Combined with the AMH-9 ASW/SAR helicopter, the AMS-12 has significant offensive firepower at its disposal, even if not equal to that of a major, full-length aircraft carrier.

Nuclear powered, the Heroic has indefinite cruising capability while also maintaining 2.8 million gallons of aviation fuel for air operations. Capable of transporting up to 400 troops in the barracks-style troop transport area, the AMS-12 is also capable of fielding a landing element for strike and/or beachhead protection.

The Heroic is akin to other capital ships in that it also has an extremely advanced electronics suite designed to maximize survivability and information flow, as well as disrupt enemy detection efforts. The Goliath II SATDATA imaging system is the primary system for the Heroic warships, linking in high-speed, multi-spectrum, encrypted data bursts to global satellites to provide an accurate worldwide picture with a zoom enabling the tracking and viewing of objects up to .5m in size.

BringerofPain, or sincerest apologies at such a tardy reply. Your order has been processed and is in the process of being filled even as I type this communique. Unfortunately, due to an increase in labor costs and the rise in market prices on various valuabel metals, the best discount I can offer is that of about 280 million. That will make your total 6.2 billion dollars

The Elsunak Motor facility is to be used for the construction of the MBTs with an estimated time of completion ten months (10 days irl). The ALRAIM missiles are already packaged and shall be delievered immediately. Please expect five AMC-1 Titan transports to arrive within 18 hours.
