Haven't read all the posts so I don't know if someone has said before, but MACTO is effectively defunct after the region of Armageddon fell away, though MACTO hasn't officially been disbanded and Armageddon does still exist.

A lot of Armageddon's members moved to the region of Conservatopia. Conservatopia is currently trying to form a new alliance similar to MACTO. We will keep you updated.

The NNA has finally voted on a new name, the winner: League of Hanseatic States (LHS), hopefully the list can be adjusted to reflect this.

Hmmm, the alliance I founded isnt really shortened at all, but here it is nevertheless:

Oh, and once again, I'm flattered by the calls for a sticky, but there is really no need; this thread is once again pseudo-sticked by being linked to from one of the stickies at the top of International Incidents.

Thus, it there really is no need for a sticky on this thread. Although I certainly wouldn't say no to one, there is also no reason for sticky clutter. Thanks for the encouragement though - it's nice to be appreciated. :) It does take a decent bit of time to maintain/update the list every few days, and I also plan on having some aesthetic improvements in the near future with some shiny new graphics to make the thread nice and pretty, so keep an eye out.

Also, I spent some time doing some much-needed list maintenance. Since it (finally) exceeded the 50,000 character limit with this last batch of new additions, I was forced to split the list into two separate posts. And of course, since I was just a NationStates youngling when I first made the list, I forgot how helpful it is to immediately reserve the second post for yourself when making lists like this. Thus, the second half of the list is not shown until post #9.

If there is a mod out there who is feeling especially friendly, perhaps I could you to delete (completely purge, not just remove all the text) posts 2-8. They are not at all necessary, and only constitute a rather significant annoyance when one is viewing the list. Therefore, if you wouldn't mind just removing those posts, I would greatly appreciate it!

(P.S. - if anyone is reading this and knows of a mod who would be willing to help me out here, I'd appreciate it if you'd pass the word along! Thanks!)

Kelanthia, if you are on IRC, it might be worth checking excalibur.esper.net and asking for a mod in #nationstates. I believe #themodcave is more to be used in cases of emergency, but there are often moderators lurking about #nationstates who might well answer a general call for help. The mods are a good lot.

It really is user friendly and easy to read. It should be stickied.

The Legion of Defense has been reactivated for some time. You can remove the "Soon to be resurrected" and "coming soon."
