Project F/TN-FB-124 (Future Fighter-Bomber 124, or FFB-124)
The "FFB-124" project is currently being developed as a testbed aircraft that will serve as the developmental type program for an actual production combat aircraft.
The goal is to develop a future-generation multirole combat aircraft that incorporates both new and emerging technologies into a platform capable of replacing several current Tilsitsinian weapons systems such as the Su-47 Berkhut, Tornado GR-1, and "Fox" Stealth fighterbomber with a single airframe. The main feature of the airframe design is the variable forward-swept wing (VFSW), which exploits the dual benefits of maneuverability at forward sweep, and substantially increased maximum speed at back sweep. Controlled thrust vectoring technology also ensures vastly superior handling and maneuver, and secondary scramjet engine technology allows the aircraft to fly at hypersonic speeds.
The resulting aircaft will be formidable indeed, able to maneuver with the most agile fighters in today's arsenal, while also able to fly at speeds that far exceed current conventional limitations.
Current Development Stage: [8-24] Initial Design 72% Complete.

Engine tests being conducted for the FFB-124 project.
