EM-120 Barracuda Corvette/Light Frigate/Offshore patrol Ship (FSG)

This ship is designed to engage a wide range of underwater, aerial and surface targets and is another example of the Elias engineering corporations designing a vessel that is cost effective, capable and reliable. One of the ships main advantages is its low radar signature due to the hull and superstructure design and a very low acoustic signature thanks to the pump jet propulsors.

The unique radar system has a range that covers the entire range of the missiles and beyond, tracking concurrently up to 30 targets. The gun fire control system detects air and surface targets, performs automatic tracking, and computes firing data. The radar which is used to detect surface targets provides fire control system with designation data for five targets at a time. The boat is also fitted with active radar jammers and IFF radar.

The EM-120 is equipped with the full set of navigation and communications equipment, powerful gas turbine power plants, air-conditioning and ventilation systems to provide efficient operation in any climatic conditions and NBC chemical protection systems. It can be operated in sea conditions up to Sea State 8.
