East Turkestan government officials confirmed today that rebels had captured Fort Kalihl. The massive fort was the only one standing in the rebels way.
President and warlord Samad Al-Jahid said in a plea for help: "We are in urgent need for foreign help. If any nation can help us in one way or another we will repay you."

Although, we are not a strong or large nation we will send military aid. A small group of transports and naval escorts have been dispatch under the command of Colonel Richard Lippert. They should arrive shortly.

I am the dictator of Germarica, and I am willing to assist you in your war efforts. My military is willing to put forward an effort.

We are currently sailing toward East Turkestan and estimate arrival shortly. I would like to request permission to land. Currently are rapid deployed force consists of 2500 Ground Troops, 500 Commandos, 500 MPs, Along with light Mechanized Armor and Infantry Fighting Vehicles.

A small contingent of special forces has been droped by the DoW near Fort Kalihl they have engaged the rebels imediatly and mead firm resistance. The fight is still going on.

Drakonian Frigates bombarded Rebel forces near Talikh Naval Base. Drakonian Commando Units that were dispatch cleared the area of the surviving rebels and report that Talikh is secure.

MP units with Turkestan police support are sweeping Turkestan cities and towns for rebel forces current report suggest limited resistance.

Main line military troops have begun searching for rebel bases and operations centers with support from Turkestan military units. Currently they are asking civilians for information and have only rumors to help locate where the rebels are staging their attacks.

Recent fighting near Fort Kalihl has resulted in 7 dead Drakonian soldiers and 10 others wounded, along with one Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV), no other serious damage to Armor or IFVs. Estimates on rebel causalities are high, but unconfirmed.

2 MPs are dead and 1 other wounded after barging in on a small rebel gathering in an East Turkestani city. Rebel prisoners were reported to have been captured by Turkestani police supporting the MPs.

Rebels have been in hiding but have suddenly attacked and the entire city is in chaos. Our forces can win this fight but assistance could be needed.

Recent fighting has caused significant causalties to our forces in East Turkestan. Current causalty reports estimate 37 more soldiers killed in fighting and 14 more wounded, around Fort Kalihl (which is still in rebels hands). No report as to the status of DoW Special Forces and Drakonian commanders assume they are still alive due to what appears to be sporatic fighting inside and close to the Fort itself.

Rebel forces near a small Turkestani town launched a surprise attack on Drakonian troops. The fighting started with a sudden explosion that destroyed a Tank and IFV. Another Tank and IFV were damaged and 13 soldiers were killed; 4 wounded. In the following fighting Imperial Drakonian forces were forces back losing another tank and 7 soldiers to the rebels. 2 other were wounded.

Fighting in the Turkestani capital caused the deaths of 9 MPs and an unknown number of Turkestani police when the rebel counterattacked. Drakonian forces were pulled back from their bombardment of Fort Kalihl to suppress the rebels in the capital. 17 more soldiers were kill, 2 are Missing in Action, and another 23 are wounded. 3 IFVs and one tank were destroyed in the fighting. Current Reports state that 64% of the Turkestani capital are in Turkestani or Drakonian hands.

Due to an increase in fighting in the East Turkestan, the Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces central command has order the mobilization of all military forces and the activation of all reserve troops. The central command has also dispatched the 1st Air Cavalry Battalion, under the command of Major Michael York, consisting of 100 Attack Helicopters, 250 Combat Assualt Transport Helicopters, 50 Heavy Lift Transport Helicopters, 50 Light Tanks, 100 Infantry Fighting Vehicles, 1000 Soldiers, and 500 Commandos. Transport should arrive at Talikh Naval Base, with Imperial Drakonian Naval escort shortly.

The DIA would like more information involving the execution of Bakr Sidqi, Minister of Foreign Policies, who is assumed by the DIA to have been involved with the Rebels according to recent information transmitted to the Drakonian Imperium.

Public Polls in the Drakonian Imperium report that 73% of Drakonian citizen believe the war is going well. With only 11% believing it to be going badly, and another 16% are unsure. Other polls reported that 82% of Drakonian citizen support the war, with 12% opposed to the war, and 6% unsure.

A continent of Drakonian Armor and Infantry have been dispatched to support Turkestani forces at Talikh Naval Base. This is to ensure the safe arrival of the 1st Air Cavalry Battalion, under the command of Major Michael York. The Cavalry will operate under the command of the 1st Expeditionary Force and will be used to help quell the rebels.

A commando raid on a rebel cell in the Turkestani Capital served to seriously set back rebel effort in the city. While 11 Commandos were killed and another 3 wounded. The commandos are reported to have captured a lieutenant of the rebel commander in charge of the rebel forces fighting in the Turkestani Capital. Also a large stash of weapons, bombs, and several hidden rebel tanks were seized.

During a counterattack against rebels forces near a Turkestani town a group of Light Tanks and IFV came under artillery fire. With in a short time they reported back to headquarters in the Turkestani Capital that the enemy was using nerve gas. That was the last message they sent. The bodies of all 130 soldiers were recovered shortly thereafter. The soil around them showed sign of having been exposed to nerve gases, but analysis left the possibility of pesticide. All 10 Light Tanks and 15 IFVs were nowhere to be found and assumed captured by rebel forces. This atrocity must be avenged. Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces are currently regrouping the Turkestani Capital and at Talikh Naval Base.

The recent shocking developments of the War against the Turkestani rebels has convinced Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces' central command to commit General Maxwell Clark with the 2nd Armored Division to the feild in East Turkestan. The 2nd Armored Division consists of 5000 Soldiers, 500 Commandos, 500 MPs, 750 Heavy Tanks, 250 Light Tanks, 100 Mobile Artillery Vehicles, and 500 Infantry Fighting Vehicles and is preparing to launch from the soveriegn waters of the Drakonian Imperium, it is expect to be on its way in a day.

The 1st Air Cavalry, under the command of Major Michael York arrived safely at Talikh Naval Base and is preparing to join Colonel Richard Lippert in the Turkestani Capital.

The DoW mercenary army has fought several fierce battles with the rebels near and inside Fort Kalihl. Unfortunately they are well equipped and highly motivated. Until that very moment we have not been able to open a secure road into the town. We suggest to the government of East Turkestan that they consider hiring the Condotta mercenary army to help them cope with the problems. As we are providing this communiqué our men are trying to cut off the rebels main routes of supply for Fort Kalihl. Albeit the war is not going the way we want it to we have been successful binding all enemy forces at Fort Kalihl, thus preventing them from advancing. Inside Fort Kalihl we also managed to liberate one of Drakonia's Missing men, along with 12 captive loyalists. We can also confirm the stockpiling of nerve gas in the Fort. Unfortunately we where not able to neutralise this thread for we have not been expected to be in the need of disposing NBC devices. The warehouses can be laser designated if the Drakonian Air force is capable of bombing them with thermal plasma or similar to completely destroy the gas.

Imperial Drakonian troops regrouping in the Turkestani Capital have met stiff resistance. It currently appears that Turkestani and Drakonian forces have establish martial law in almost all of the city. Current report state that 42 soldiers, 13 MPs, and 2 Commandos are dead, while 29 soldiers, 4 MPs, and a Commando are wounded. They also state that 3 other soldiers are missing in action, while the one soldier reported missing in action was rescued from a rebel cell in the city. Intelligence suspects that the MIA soldiers are being held by rebels at Fort Kalihl. The wounded former MIA soldier that was rescued is safe in Turkestani Hospital. Also 6 Light Tanks and 3 IFVs were destroyed, and another 2 IFVs damaged.

The 1st Armored Division has arrived at Talikh Naval Base and is disembarking. Formal transfer of command of the Imperial Drakonian forces in East Turkestan will takes place shortly, with General Maxwell Clark taking command.

Early this morning, a Attack Helicopter group strafed Fort Kalihl. The helicopters fell back after taking Surface-to-Air Missile and small arms fire, no helicopters were damaged. The rebels still appear in high spirits and large organized numbers.

The Commando forces in the Turkestani capital captured the commander of the rebels forces trying to take over the Turkestani capital. After interogation the rebel commander revealed the location of a rebel facility that is being used as a weapon stockpile. The injured rebel commander was turned over to Turkestani officials for further interogation, and his forthcoming trial and execution.

Acting on intelligence from the imprisoned rebel commander Drakonian Commandos raided an Agricultural Complex in rural Turkestan, which revealed canisters of Nerve Gas. 2 Commandos were killed during the fighting. The captured Nerve Gas matched samples collected from the soil where the Drakonian troops were ambushed. There was also a stockpile of Artillery shells designed to deliver the Nerve Toxin. The facility is suspected to have serve as the refining and distribution point for the Nerve Gas. Drakonian commanders suspect that some of the Nerve Gas is still in the hands of the rebels, but they are sure the Agricultural Complex is the only production facility of the Nerve Gas. The Commandos demolished the facility as soon as the stock of Nerve Gas and production equipment was airlifted out by helicopter. It is currently being transported back to Drakonian for further investigation.

Currently, Imperial Drakonian forces are mobilization in the Turkestani Capital and at Talikh Naval Base for furthering the fighting against the rebels. The Turkestani Capital airport is being converted and added to, to support a military airbase so that the Imperial Drakonian Air Force can full access to the airport to better ferry supplies and troops to East Turkestan.

Late last night, a flight of Attack Helicopters acting on intelligence exstracted from the captured rebel commander attacked a building, in a city near the Turkestani Capital, operated by a rebel cell. They were reported to have taken small arms fire but no damage was inflicted on the helicopters. The building was severely damaged and rebel causalties are thought to be high.

Along with the capture of the rebel commander in the Turkestani Capital, DIA agents discovered the information granting them access to several bank accounts the rebels were using to purchase weapons on the black market was discovered. The bank accounts were seized by Turkestani officials and a reported $300 Million were turned over to the East Turkestan government.

Drakonian citizens are outraged at the rebels use of Nerve Gas. One citizen is reported as saying, "I am going to get myself a gun and rejoin the military to send those rebels back to their god."

Here's a status report:

We found a massgrave at An Baraf holding more than 300 bodies mostly civilians. But the rebels where still there and quickly isolated us in the town. After 23 hours of fighting the rebels where pushed back.

The dead Bakr Sidqi has been replaced by Nuri Sa'id.

There are fierce battles in the northern mountain ranges and there are reports of civilian militia and rebels clashing in the southwest.

We are sending reinforcements under General Achmed Mahmoud Barak to Fort Kalihl.

We are happy to hear all those good news from the other fronts. Here in Fort Kalihl things have changed from bad to worse. Despite the fact that the precise strikes of the Drakonian Gunships destroyed the rebels last stock of chemical weapons, their moral is still high. We have been able to destroy their command and control centre in the fort, but have now being forced to barricade our selves in the town. We are now completely encircled by rebel forces and are short on every thing. Everything but guns and ammo for most of our men are now using captured enemy weapons. We need immediate relief or else our situation will be…even worse.
During the raid of the C&C centre our men discovered several foreign passports which seemed to be genuine and a lot of money. We also managed to capture large amounts of encrypted data which will be send to the capital for decryption. We don’t have the experts here to do that.

Elements of the 1st Air Cavalry have been sent to relieve the DoW forces encircled by rebels. Their transport helicopters and Attack Helicopter support are expected to arrive shortly and before Turkestani troops. The Combat Assualt Transport Helicopters will transport soldiers and commandos, while Heavy Lift Helicopter will transport in IFV and Light Tanks support, all while the Attack Helicopter run air cover. We hope to rescue and support the DoW Special Forces in time.

Along with the elements 1st Air Cavalry, under the command of Major Michael York. I have sent a contingent of Armor and Infrantry, from the 1st Expeditionary Force, to back-up the 1st Air Cavalry and Turkestani forces enroute to Fort Kalihl. Colonel Richard Lippert is in command of the contingent and should arrive at the Fort shortly after the 1st Air Cavalry and Turkestani forces.

We have hit a rebel strongpoint blocking the way to Fort Kalihl so we'll be delayed. The rebels although doesn't seem to be organized here so our breakthrough will be quick.

As a counterstrike against the Rebels, a large element of the 2nd Armor Battalion was sent to cities nearby the Turkestani Capital. They are beginning to support the Turkestani military and militias in their fighting against the rebels. Current reports specify no causalty, but 3 soldiers have been wounded.

Also, the 1st Air Cav. have been able to bypass rebel forces around Fort Kalihl while attacking them from the air. They are deploying within attack range of Fort Kalihl and should be able to support the DoW Special Forces shortly.

We have received a message from our agent that have infiltrated the rebels here is the message:

"Rebel forces are preparing a massive offensive from the northern mouintain ranges. Their original plan was to move in from the southwest and encircle the capital.

This is dire news for us since the cave systems make it almost impossible to completely destroy rebel resistance in the northern ranges.

Rebel forces have launched a counterattack against the Turkestani Capital . Rebel tanks and soldiers faught their way into the city getting their artillery within range of the General Clark's headquarters. Only one shell hit the the build, before Drakonian Attack Helicopters and armor cut deep into the rebel force. Damage to the building was negligable and causalties were reported.

But the initial attack appears to have only been a diversion and not the actual massive encircledment of the Capital that is expected to take place shortly. While Drakonian forces were finally driving the rebels back a Long-Range Guided Missile struck and laid waste to the General's headquarters. The damage inflicted was serious, with most of the building collapsing. 53 soldiers, 9 MPs, and 14 Commandos were killed along with General Maxwell (some were killed during the artillery attack), another 84 soldiers and 6 MPs wounded along with a couple dozen Turkestani citizens. Attack Helicopters were able to track down the source of the attack. It was a small group of rebels that had used a missile-launch truck, disguised to look like a semi and trailer. The target was destroyed along with the bulk of the rebels defending it.

During the rebel attack which was driven back shortly thereafter, 20 Soldiers, 5 MPs, and 2 Commandos were all killed. 12 Soldiers and 5 Commandos were wounded, along with 1 Light Tank and 2 IFVs that were destroyed and another IFV that was damaged.

Shortly before, the attack on the Turkestani Capital, the Imperial Drakonian Navy Frigates patrolling off the East Turkestani Coast were fired upon by rebel artillery and tanks. One frigate was damaged, while another was able to repulse the rebels with by firing on their position. The rebels are reported to have suffered the loss of several armor units. The damaged frigate the IDS Sea Raven is currently sailing back to home water with another frigate as escort. The damage inflict on the frigate was not serious and a destroyer was launched to replace the frigate returning home to Drakonia.

The DIA is currently opening a full-scale investigation into where the rebels are purchasing their equipment (include the material and tools used to make Nerve Gas and the Long-Range Guide Missile used to destroy the Drakonian headquarters in East Turkestan). It is not expect to be complete for a while, although the information could possible be in the ecrypted data the DoW Special Forces obtained or extracted from imprisoned rebel officials.

Current reports, have establish that the Turkestani Capital is once again in Turkestani and Drakonian hands. Currently, Colonel Richard Lippert is being flow there by helicopter to resume command full command of Drakonian military forces in East Turkestan.

Drakonian citizen, military, and government official all mourned the death of renowned and decorated General Maxwell Clark. The Praetor stated, "He will be greatly missed, but we have full confidence in Colonel Richard Lippert to resolve the rebellion in East Turkestan." He would not comment on reported unconventional interogation techniques used on a captured rebel commander or if the Drakonian's first carrier and battleship (currently under construction and nearing completion) will be deployed to East Turkestani waters to assist in the quelling of the rebels.

The high causalty rate in the fight against the Turkestani rebels has prompt further troop deployments. The Drakonian Navy is reported to be escorting transports carrying the 6th Armored Battalion and 3rd Infrantry Battalion. The escorts include the two largest warships in the Imperial Drakonian Navy, which were recently complete and launched.

The Imperial Drakonian Navy is proud to announce that the newly completed battleship IDS Inexorable, and carrier IDS Dragon were launched successfully. Both ships have been fully crewed and equipped and our on their way to East Turkestan to support troops there. The Imperial Drakonian Navy is also glad to report that the advanced cruiser IDS Polaris will be complete in two days and ready for service at that time, fully crew and equipped.

The Drakonian counter strike against the Rebels came just in time for the cut off DoW mercenaries.
The rebels were caught by surprise due to the swift advance Major York's forces. The insurgents quickly retreated to better fortified positions and thus opened their own ring around our encircled men-
In a last desperate attack we managed to destroy several self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicles to ensure an (almost) 'cold' landing zone for the advancing Draconian choppers. Some of our scouts located one of the abandoned command posts of and secured several death lists with the names of quite a lot of
East Turkestani citizens on them. An other strike force has been successfully carried out an attack on the local power plant, leaving Kalihl without electricity.
The traitors have some improvised bunkers in the town and are preparing for urban battles. They still have a lot of heavy weapons and ammunition to keep on fighting for years. After analysing all aspects of the rebels and the loyalist capacities our specialists suggest that an open fight in the streets of Fort Kalihl we lead to immense losses on our side. They advise the President and Warlord of East Turkestan, Samad Al-Jahid, that a siege would be the more promising option. If we manage to hold the power plant and cut off the water supply for the town the rebels will certainly surrender.
Nevertheless we need instant evacuation of more than 120 men from Fort Kalihl, most of them are either wounded or to exhausted to keep on fighting. An other 80 or so bodies have to be taken to the capital to be shipped back to the Dogs of War headquarter.
As this communiqué is send we can already hear the operations of the 1st Air Cavalry in the distance. We will soon be able to leave our distressing position and return to our normal operations.

The 1st Air Cavalry is happy to report it is holding the rebel forces at bay in Kalihl. A portion of our helicopters have been turned over to DoW forces to transport their wounded and dead. We are still meeting stiff resistance and are working to hold back rebel forces until Turkestani and Drakonian relief forces can siege the Fort. We expect elements of the 1st Expeditionary to arrive shortly after General Achmed Mahmoud Barak's Turkestani troops.

During our initial landing and attack of the rebels we lost 1 Attack Helicopter and 1 Transport Helicopter. Also we have taken a total of 37 causalties and 5 wounded in all the fighting.

I commend the DoW Special Forces along with their commander Fabrizio Scalvini for their brilliant tactics and courageous resolve displayed in the fighting. I am personnally looking forward to meeting and shaking the hand of their daring commander.

Upon the invitation of East Turkistan, forces of The Condotta are in the process of being deployed.

The following forces shall arrive within the next two days -

- 4000 Infantry (including an unspecified number of Special Forces personnel.)

- 500 Armoured vehicles (primarily Challenger II tanks, and about 150 APCs).

- 250 Aircraft (Primarily Tornados and Typhoons, plus some transport Helicopters.)


We also wish to make it known that 4 submarines are being redirected to within strike distance of the region.

The latest news have been very exciting for our men. We where able to evacuate our dead and wounded with the help of the Drakonians. All other men will take a rest of about 48 before the return to battle, all but a group of 12 who will keep on operating inside Fort Kalihl.
Fabrizio Scalvini is on his way to the HQ of the 1st Air Cavalry and will hand all the confiscated items (the foreign passports, the computers and so on) over to the DIA.

Several continegents of Drakonian Imperium's 2nd Armored Battalion have been caught behind the advance of the massive rebel attack heading toward the Turkestani Capital. They are current preparing to strike the rebels from the rear, but have been ordered not to institute that attack until the rebel forces is about to reach the Turkestani Capital.

The Drakonian 6th Armored and 3rd Infantry Battalions have arrived at Talikh Naval Base and are currently moving to reinforce Drakonian Troops at the Turkestani Capital.

The Carrier IDS Dragon, having arrived with the Drakonian reinforcements, has launched several airstrikes against rebels still holding out in Fort Kalihl. The Drakonian High-Altitude Bombers are expected to launch thier laser-guided bomb within the hour.

Troops from the 1st Expeditionary Force arrive at the besieged Fort Kalihl just behind the Turkestani reinforcement under General Achmed Mahmoud Barak. The rebels are expected to hold out for a while, although airstrike could expedite the end of fighting for the Fort.

Drakonian military elements of the 1st Expeditionary Battalion and the 1st Armored Battalion have begun building extensive fortification in the Turkestani Capital with the intention of preparing for the rebel troops enroute there. The Troops expect the battle-ready and fresh troops of the 6th Armored and 3rd Infantry Battalion to do most of the offensive fighting against the rebels while they hold the Turkestani Capital safe.

Analysis of intelligence collected by DoW Special forces, East Turkestan, and DIA agents is currently being carried out. No final conclusion as to the nation (or nations or possibly underground organizations) that is supplying the rebels has been reached. Although, the DIA has suspicions.

Bits of the intelligence did reveal that the rebels still have a small ammount of the Nerve Gas Agent, specified as LX1, in an unknown location. They also appear to be attempting to purchase cruise missiles, anti-air weapons, large quantities of high explosives, and have bought some sort of aircraft or helicopter (possibly more than one). We have also discovered the locations of several small secret rebel facilities and turn the information over to all our allies in this fight.

As the rebels advance on the capital the loyal defenders are relieved to see the welcome sight of Condotta reinforcements fly overhead.

The sky fills with Hercules C5 transport planes, an escort of Tornados flying in close formation around them, as wave after wave pass the capital on their way to the International Airport currently being held by Drakonian forces.


Almost within minutes of each plane touching down it is emptied of troops and taxis of for refuelling. Before long the airport is swarming with 4000 Condotta infantry, and armoured vehicles are rolling off the final palnes to land.

After taking a short brake of 48 hours the special forces have now stopped wasting the patrons time. All units have been reorganized and are now returning to do what they have been paid for. Because of the heavy losses we have suffered our actual number is down to about 200 men capable of fighting. 50 of them will be send to the capital to carry out commando operations against the rebels. They will be accompanied by Fabrizio Scalvini who will convene with Colonel Richard Lippert, Warlord Samad Al-Jahid and of cause his mercenary colleague Colonel James Anderson. He will personally take care that all things regarding coffee will be handled by his own men (who are for the most part Italians) and not by those of the Condotta!

"They know how to win wars but they should stay away from coffee. This is dead serious, for some times a good coffee is more important than good rifles to win a war."

Ahh well I just realized that mr. Scalvini is going off topic again. He has that little problem with cappuccino for it is very difficult to…err…well…back to the war!

The rest of the DoW troops will remain with the 1st air cavalry.

The men inside Fort Kalihl have neutralized four enemy self-propelled guns and killed several rebel officers. The rebels have stopped wearing rank insignia some time ago but most enlisted men still salute the officers if they pass by…

They still advance south but has met pockets of resistance by civilian militias. We are sending troops to help them and keep them alive until the time of our counterattack as come.

The Drakonian defenders entrenching themselve in the East Turkestani capital rejoiced in the street with the arrival of the forces of the Condotta. I myself went out and shoot the hand of the commander of the Condrotta forces who had come to support us in this fighting.

The famed 1st Air Cavalry and 1st Expeditionary Force have dug themselve in at Fort Kalihl not allowing the few remain rebel forces the chance to gain any ground. Turkestani troops, under the command of Colonel Marak As-Saraid have made themselves essential to fighting the rebels at Fort Kalihl support the Drakonian troop with their every operation. Air raids have weakened the rebels and a continuing seige is beginning to take the fight out of those who now are trapped. Commandos have begun to also carry out hit-and-run attacks against the beleaguered rebels. They are expected to soon surrender.

As currently commanders of the DoW, East Turkestani government, the Condotta, and the Drakonian Imperium, coordinate plans to push out in one final blow against the rebels, the 6th Armored and 3rd Infantry Battalions have pushed out of the capital and our moving to reinforce Turkestani civilian militias and armed forces, fighting the rebel advance. The two Battalions are part of the coordinated plan for destroying the rebels. Troops of the Condotta and DoW are expected to move soon.

What we have been fighting for gentlemen for so long is now close at hand. The rebels will be destroyed and we will be victorious!

The investigation into the rebels supply of arms have uncovered a surprising lead the rebels are reportedly getting their weapons from the CoVar Corporation an unidentified multi-national organization, that is probably under the direct-controlled a unknown nation. The DIA is currently requesting all information available, from Turkestani official, on possible enemies that nation or select government officials could have. The DIA is also demanding that the respondible nation come forward, pay reparation to all nations involved in this conflict (East Turkestan, DoW, The Condotta, and the Drakonian Imperium), and stop immediately financing and supplying the rebels.

The Drakonian Frigate IDS Interdictor stopped a cargo ship off a rebel-controlled city seizing a large ammount of weapons, munitions, explosives, and Cruise Missiles. The vessel was independantly contracted by the CoVar Corporation and is currently being escorted to the Turkestani Capital. All crew were arrested as POWs in the war and our currently being interogated for information (specificly to learn their port of origin).

Two soldiers were killed today in a Turkestani town by rebel gunmen. They were part of the Drakonian forces caught behind rebel lines and preparing to join the allied counterattack. Before Drakonian troops could return fire though several Turkestani citizens took it upon themselve to enact justice. The three gunmen lost their guns and were beaten to death before they could even fire into the angry crowd. Drakonian troops were happy to learn, just how supportive the civilian population is of their struggled against the rebels. DIA intelligence estimates that now over 75% of the Turkestani population is supportive of the fight against the rebels.

We are 4 enemies in the Eastern Caspian Sea that there have never been any real peace between us. The 4 nations are: we, Sinkiang, Moldania and Mandrokia. We have been fighting each other about borders for centurys now, you can pick anyone of them.

The siege is going as planned says Colonel Marak As-Saraid. The rebel offensive have come to a halt at a few locations but the mainpush to the capitol is still proceeding.

It is indeed good news to here that over 75% of our population is supporting the war against the rebels. We thought that we had about 55% support from the population.

The CoVar Corporation is a multinational enterprise that specialized in the sharing of information, intelligence gathering, and professional security. The CoVar Corporation is also involved in other nefarious business, such as drug production and running, terrorism, gun running, and assasination. The Corporation appears to be independantly owned, but the DIA suspects it to be controlled by a powerful national government.

Two years ago, all CoVar assets in the Drakonian Imperium were seized, when it was suspected that CoVar was preparing to overthrow the government of fellow United Emirates member, Terra Laga. The intelligence was confirmed as well as that the Corporation was drawing up plans to overthrow the Drakonian government and replace it with one supportive of their corporation (which is what we suspect they are doing in East Turkestan). Our intelligence showed that the CoVar Corporation had been contracted to overthrow the Terra Lagan government. The Terra Lagan government was warned and all CoVar agents in that nation were arrested and executed for treason. All CoVar employees in the Drakonian Imperium were arrested and imprisoned.

Currently, those imprisoned CoVar employees are currently being re-interogated to try to reveal more information. All we know now about their methods are that they supply and contact their people or employers through hired mercenaries and usually not directly. It is suspected that the former treacherous Turkestani Minister of Foriegn Affairs was either one of these hired contacts, a CoVar employee, or a part of the Turkestani rebellion.

The immediate operations of the CoVar Corporation are unknown, but DIA agents are tracking CoVar assets internationally.

At 0900 hrs, forward units of the 6th Armored Battalion engaged the main rebel force pushing toward the capital. Within a short time the 6th Armored and 3rd Infantry Battalions joined Turkestani soldiers and civilian militiamen battling the rebels. The fighting continued fiercely for over 5 hrs. The fighting was the worst seen during the rebellion, the Drakonian Armed Forces lost 11 Light Tanks, 6 Heavy Tanks, 1 Mobile Artillery Vehicle, and 7 IFVs. Total causalty were 78 soldiers and 9 commandos and another 47 soldiers were wounded. After the three hours had elapsed Drakonian soldiers had inflicted heavy causalties but were forced to fall back. Fighter-Bombers were launched and were able to carry out several success airstrikes. The rebel advance continues but it is slowed and weakened.

The 6th Armored and 3rd Infantry Battalions are now regrouping with Turkestani troops and militia and preparing to reengage the advancing rebels. I am now enroute with a small detachment of the 1st Expeditionary Force that was stations in the Turkestani Capital.

Today the DoW fighter planes have inflicted heavy losses on the rebel forces. Our new X-39L struck Fort Kalihl several times with pinpoint accuracy, destroying several bunkers and other fortifications set up by the rebels. One plane was damaged douring a short dog fight with the outdated rebel fighters, but managed to return to the Talikh Naval Base. All enemy planes have been shot down. Ther manoeuvrability of the X-39L has proved to be almost unbeatable in air fights. Our long-range fighter bombers the X-39N have not been that successful, they hunted enemy armoured columns in the hinterland but where only able to destroy 5 APCs and a single IFV. The operation with the most on the overall campaign was carried out by the X-39H heavy fighter bombers. Capable of carrying a payload of up to 7,000 kg these planes where used to scatter minefields between the rebels engaged by the Drakoninan forces and their reinforcements. Preventing the first from falling back and the second from advancing.
Our special forces are doing what the always do.

Meanwhile the army of the Condotta under the command of the well known Colonel James Anderson began heavy shelling of enemy strongholds with artillery. Their fighters have carried out recon missions and have located and destroyed 2 rebel airfields. One plane was shot down and the pilots are MIA. Later that day Colonel Anderson announced that the loyalist forces have now the complete air superiority in East Turkestan.
The armoured units of the Condotta have not jet engaged rebel forces. They are on the move to attack the rebels trapped between the mines and the Drakonians from the flanks. If the East Turkestani regular forces manage to attack them from the rear or the western flak they will either be destroyed or forced to surrender.

East Turkestani regulars have moved into position to flank the rebel forces they await only the Condotta.

Earlier a rebel attack was repelled by combined militia, Turkestani and Drakonian troops near the city of An Jayilad. The rebel forces were superior in numbers but the combined effort made the rebels to retreat.

Our regular forces captured a rebel command post wich held a number of computers and battle plans. A few officers and soldiers where also captured. Everything and the POWs taken will be given to the DIA.

The CoVar Corporation denies any involvement in supplying or financing the rebellion. We didnot supply or finance the rebellion or encourage it in any way and will not pay reparations.

This is the last chance for the surrounded rebels to surrender. Today the DoW heavy x-39H fighter bombers have dropt tons of leaflets on the rebels which order them to surrender and kill their officers and which also guarantee them a safe passage through the frontline if the wish to rejoin the loyalist army or to surrender. They have been flanked by Condotta fighters who shot down one rebel aircraft.
There is still no singe from the two missed Condotta pilots.
If the rebels fail to surrender the Condotta will move to crush them.

The Drakonian Imperium has suffered heavy losses, earlier today, while engaging rebels forces. While fighting alongside Turkestani troops they engaged the advancing rebel forces near An Jayilad, and were nearly overwelmed, but due to the daring of the Turkestani army and the courage of the Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces the rebels were defeated and driven into retreat. Total killed soldiers numbered 98; total killed commandos were 17; total wounded soldiers numbered 54. There were 5 destroyed Heavy Tanks and 9 destroyed IFV, along with 7 destroyed Light Tanks and 3 damaged Light Tanks. During the fighting the Drakonian Imperium identified and destroyed 6 Light Tanks and 11 IFVs it had reported lost after the rebels used Nerve Gas on Drakonian troops (the status of those vehicles has been change as such).

Also today in a surprise attack a small detachment of the 3rd Infantry was bombarded by artillery. All were killed (20 Soldiers) by what was identified by DIA agents to be the Nerve Agent LX1. This is suspected by the DIA to be what little ammounts of the agent the rebels have left, although also today a 1st Air Cavalry Attack Helicopter shot down a cargo plane. The plane was entirely incinerated but the wreckage was analysized to reveal that the plane was carrying barrels of LX1 and large ammounts of high explosives.

Just moments ago, a building in a town near the Turkestani Capital was blown up by rebels. This appears to be a terrorist-style attack orcestrated by the rebels. 7 Drakonian soldiers were killed and another 10 wounded, along with dozens of reported Turkestani civilian and military causalties.

Around noon today, Commandos, operating on information from prisoners interogated by the DIA, were able to rescue 3 soldiers who were reported as Missing In Action (MIA), near Fort Kalihl. The prisoners were being held inside the fort and rescued by Commandos from the 1st Air Cavalry. They are in good health except for one who has been shot (once during his capture by rebels and another during interogation by the rebels). He is currently being given medical treatment and is expect to recover. (The DIA is expected to update their status in its next Intelligence Report.)

Drakonian Troops are currently holding the line with soldiers of The Condotta, DoW, and Turkestani civilian militias and army against the main rebel offensive toward the Turkestani capital. They are expected to either surrender or be destroyed shortly, but small pockets of resistance still hold out in the mountains, the south, at Fort Kalihl, in a few rebel occupide citiest, and DIA reports suggest the operation of small units in many free Turkestani cities (the DIA is worried these units are going to carry-out terrorist attacks). We are not sure how possible a surrender of the rebel main offensive is, but we suspect these pockets of resistance will likely continue fighting either way.

The Drakonian troops at Fort Kalihl, under the command of Major Michael York are preparing to crush the small remain resistance of the rebels still holding out in the Fort. Air strikes were recently launched on the rebels destroying several rebels control-buildings, among the bombs were a mass of leaflets ordering the sieged rebels to surrender or be destroyed. The final destructive blow is expected to be ready soon. Turkestani troops and DoW forces are expected to lend invaluable support.

DIA operatives and officials continue to investigate the CoVar Corporations involvement in the rebellion. The Drakonian government issued a statement today ordering the nation responsible for hiring the CoVar Corporation to come forward. That nation is demanded to pay reparations to the East Turkestan, the Drakonian Imperium, DoW, and The Condotta. They are also ordered to turn over all CoVar employee in their nation and hand over all information about the evil corporation they hired to do their dirty work and to cease all contact and payments to the CoVar Corporations.

Rebel forces have been encircled in the city of Miadh. Fierce house to house fighting is reported and casualties on both sides is rising. So far the rebels seem determined to fight on.

I am the dictator of Stekchin and I am willing to send 500 Infantry Enhanced Units(IEU) along with 5 sabre gunships. For every 100 troops I lose. Half of a million dollars must be sent to the families of the fallen soldiers. Every sabre gunship that is lost will be one million dollars in order to replace it.

A squadron of F-18s is also send. 100,000 dollars will be sent for each fallen f-18.

My infantry is very important to me. It is a very lmited group.

That is good news from Hassan! We should raise the pressure on the rebels near the capital through artillery shelling and air raids, many lives will be saved if we could arrange a surrender of the rebel forces there. We have not cut of the fresh water supply for Fort Kalihl. We also tried to assassinate the commander of the rebels in Miadh but unfortunately the whole squad was whipped out. The performance of our plans has been satisfactory and they will return to base unless you want to render their services for additional costs.

The Condotta's main army sill waits for the rebels to surrender or East Turkestan to attack them. They keep bombing them and conduct patrol flights over enemy territory.

The Drakonian Imperium has begun a massive reinforcement of the battalions operating in East Turkestan. Soldiers are being airlifted into the Turkestani capital's airport along with military vehicles to replace those that were destroyed. Also the Drakonian Imperium wired the government of DoW a large sum of money to continue their aid in the fighting. Specificly, to send extra troops to support the 1st Air Cavalry in their final thrust at rebels holding out in Fort Kalihl.

The carrier IDS Dragon, launched a series of air strikes against rebels at Miadh, near An Jayilad, in the south, and on their mountain fortifications. Continued air strikes are planned.

Colonel Richard Lippert has dispatched elements of the 6th Armored Battalion to Miadh to aid Turkestani troops and militia there, among these units are three Mobile Artillery Vehicle. These units are expected to be within artillery range shortly, bombarding enemy positions, and then shortly afterward attack with tanks and infantry.

During a brief engagement at the edge of An Jayilad, Drakonian armor units were attacked destroying one Mobile Artillery Vehicle and an IFV. Ten soldiers were killed and two wounded, before Drakonian Tanks could push the rebels into retreat.

Rebels have surrendered in Miadh. They shot their commander in front of the Turkestani troops. The former rebels have been offered to join the loyalist forces or return home to their families. Most of them chose to join us.

Colonel Marak As-Saraid has reported that civilian militia had some how sneaked by the forces surrounding Fort Kalihl and then returned from what they called a succesfull raid.

General Achmed Mahmoud Barak is planning for the counteroffensive and wishes that Drakonian, DoW and Condotta officers help planning it.

I am returning to the capital to join in the planning of the counteroffensive. It will be good to finally be back on the offensive. I was informed today that the 4th Infantry Battalion is also on its way from Drakonia to help with the counteroffensive.

Drakonian troops at Fort Kalihl are almost prepared to launch their final all-out assualt on the remaining seiged rebels their. They should be ready as soon as the battalion is fully reinforced. The rebels inside are reportedly very demoralized, though some are reported ready to fight to the death. These are not all of the seige rebels.

Enroute to Turkestani Capital

Two explosions rocked a small town near the Turkestani Capital as rebel commando groups launched a surprise attack against a Drakonian convoy carrying the commander of all Drakonian troops in East Turkestan, Colonel Richard Lippert. The battle started as a car loaded with explosives rammed a Heavy Tank in the convoy and then detonated. The Tank was totally destroyed. Following that rebels fired Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs) into an IFV they thought was carrying the Colonel. This vehicle, to was destroyed. Fortunately, the Colonel was not in that IFV. After that a firefight ensued, and the rebels were neutralized after wounding six more soldiers. Total killed soldiers were ten, with total wounded also ten. The convoy while set back was able to arrive safely in the Turkestani Capital and the Colonel is currently confering with allied commander as they prepare to counterattack against the rebels.

Fight has again urrupted in Fort Kalihl as after a day of airstrikes the 1st Air Cavalry attack rebel positions. The current fighting is reportedly fierce with most of it going house-to-house, rubblepile-to-rubblepile. Causalty report are up at around twenty soldiers wounded and fourteen soldiers killed.

Commandos operating under DIA Intelligence shot down two helicopters supplying rebel forces in the southern region of East Turkestan. The helicopters were identified as being part of the CoVar Corporation and were carrying small arms, RPG Launchers, and munitions. No survivors were found.

It's good know that Colonel Lippert survived the rebel ambush. We have sent out troops to scour the area.

In Fort Kalihl Turkestani snd Drakonian troops continue to clear out the rebels still inside. The POWs taken so far has been given to the DIA.

The DIA is still hunting down the nation financing the CoVar Corporation's support of the rebels and as such has order DIA commandos to raid CoVar facilities worldwide. Currently, the East Turkestan list of possibilities has not revealled any information. The nations of Moldania and Mandrokia have both issued denials, but the nation of Sinkiang claims to have information. The DIA is currently following that lead.

The DIA is interogating all prisoners handed over to it and has been able to learn valiable information about how the CoVar Corporation is supplying the rebels and as such commandos have been scoring serious hits against the rebels suppliers.

A convoy arriving in East Turkestani territory was stopped late today by Drakonian Commandos and found to be controlled by the CoVar Corporation. The convoy was carrying gasoline, RPG launchers, small arm, munitions, and one tank to rebel forces in East Turkestan. All the material was siezed and after a breif firefight several prisoners were taken. They are currently being transported back to the Turkestani capital for interogation.

The DoW express their happiness about the survival of Colonel Lippert. Our after having received more funds from several sources our troops have been reinforced by additional 500 special forces and the planes returned to action. After a combined effort of our men, the Condotta and of our air force we where able to destroy more than six rebel strong holds in Fort Kalihl. Our men are very experienced in close quarter fighting and those who have already been in the fort are winning ground every minute. It just takes a last offensive by the Drakonians and the Loyalists and the city is back under government control.

The Condotta forces have now launched an overwhelming attack on the trapped rebels flanks. They use Armour, artillery, planes and infantry. Now the loyalists must immediately move to crush the trapped army once and for all. The offensive will continue till all rebels are defeated or have surrendered.

The Drakonian forces fighting in Fort Kalihl reported that they the Loyalists and DoW special forces were able to finally bring the Fort back under East Turkestani control. This victory comes at a price though, during the fierce fighting 13 Drakonian soldiers and 7 Drakonian commandos were killed, along with 6 commandos and 3 soldiers wounded. Major Michael York is currently meeting with DoW and Turkestani Loyalist commanders on their victory and reportedly large quantities of champagne (Imperial Drako Vineyards - 1622; specificly for the commanders) and other alcoholic beverages are being passed out and consumed by the victorious forces there (for those soldiers that are off-duty of course). Airstrike have continued on all rebel positions near the Fort to ward off any counterattack rebels might plan.

A car bomb in the Turkestani capital kill 3 Drakonian troops and left 4 more wounded. The attack is reportedly a sign that the rebels will continue terrorist-style attacks even when it appears they are being defeated. Drakonian commandos were able to capture several rebels responsible for planning the attack and kill two other rebels preparing to launch another attack.

Drakonian troops are joining The Condotta in their attack of the trapped rebel counteroffensive (which the rebels planned to drive all the way to the Turkestani capital). 6 soldiers have been wounded so far and more causalties are expected to be inflicted during the fighting.

The Turkestani troops have engaged the rebels along with Condotta and Drakonian troops. The rebels seem tired and broken. They won't put up a large fight.

We recieved a message from a group of officers that wishes to defect and we want the DIA to handle the operation. One of the rebel officers in the south and his men have surrendered and wants to share important information with us. He will also be given to the DIA.

Now that Fort Kalihl is under government control again, Colonel Marak As-Saraid has been called to the capitol to help in planning the offensive.

I must say that the officers really liked the alcoholic beverages that the Drakonians brought with them.

Recent fighting has resulted in only limited causalties to our side. We report only 6 soldiers killed and 10 soldiers wounded. This appears due to ramant demoralization on the rebels side. While we feal that some rebel factions may hold out till their deaths, we expect most to surrender shortly. Drakonian troops report that they have begun to drive back the rebel offensive and that there are now small groups of rebels surrendering to Combined forces.

I am happy to announce that the Drakonian government has acquired several cases of Imperial Drako Vineyards Champagne of the year 1622 (a very good year) for allied commanders to be delivered upon the forthcoming victory over the Turkestani rebellion.

Under the guise of international aid packages, 40 Chinooks packed with elite troops have flown into Fort Kahili. Following them were 25 F-22 Raptors, 50 UH-60 Blackhawks and 50 AH-64 Apaches which attacked enemy forces and secured the newly won position. In addition, 20 well escorted C-130 Hercules have been flown in, with a number of infantry, tanks and artillery units held inside. We hope to halt the rout of the revoloutionary forces with our new support. 25,000 Regular Infantry are poised to move in soon with several hundred tanks.

NationStates is a big place. You might have a large army, but if it's all on one side of the world fighting in one war, it can't suddenly appear on the other side of the world fighting in another war. In other words, your battalions can only be in one place at once.

Those are quotes from the Godmodding thread. You might want to read it through (again no doubt). I know I probably should.

You can still have the element of surprise with your "international aid." No doubt, Drakonian Imperium forces will be surprised, but I want you I alone have an Air Cavalry Battalion deployed there fully equipped with anti-air weapons, attack helicopters, and various other helicopters and armor units (I dont know totally what East Turkestan or DoW have there). Also I have a naval battlegroup including a Carrier (fully loaded with aircraft), Battleship, Destroyers, Frigates, and Transport ships all capable of air defense and attacking air units (especially the carrier). So your C-130 may have problems, although there are other options open to you. I also forgot that I have some aircraft at the Turkestani capital's international airport. So I alone have forces spread across East Turkestan.

We should grant amnesty to the rebels unsure of surrender.

General Achmed Mahmoud Barak has reported that the planning of the offensive is going faster than expected due to Drakonian, DoW and Condotta expertise. The planning is thought to be done in a few days.

Several known terrorists have been captured and turned over to the DIA. There ranks are mere soldiers but they could be of use to the DIA. You will probably notice that they aren't very cooperative so some sort of persuaision must be used.

I would like to request that all rebels granted amnesty are required to turn in their weapons to the Turkestani officials and then allowed to return to their homes. This is probably what you are now doing I just wanted to make sure.

There have been much commando activity lately due to the mass of intelligence the DIA has been extracting from prisoners; their interogation techniques being the best to extract information. There are currently several operations in progress and I expect the DIA to fill us in shortly and upon their completion.

The 1st Air Cavalry is on the move again. Small units from that Battalion have been deployed in the region around Fort Kalihl. The main group of the 1st Air Cav. is preparing to deploy to the Turkestani mountains to establish a foothold for us to drive out and destroy the rebel hideouts in those mountains. Meanwhile, the small units of the 1st have engaged and destroyed several pockets of rebel resistance. Causalties were low and only one soldier was killed and 3 others wounded. Most of the rebels remaining in the area of Fort Kalihl have been destroyed the rest are thought to be hiding.

The Drakonian Diplomatic Corps. reports the completion of three new Embassies (specificly built and designed for the allied nations: East Turkestan, DoW, and The Condotta) the Praetorian Sector of Drako Throne (where the Praetor, himself, resides), near the new International Relations Complex (located in the Diplomatic Sector of Drako Throne) and the Grand Capital Building (located in the Senatorial Sector, where the Senate, Grand Parliament, and Imperial Supreme Court meet). The Drakonian government would be honored by future relations (both diplomatic and economic, after the end of the War) with the Combined countries and as such have built these three Embassies for them.

The Jet carrying the East Turkestani Diplomatic Team arrived safe and sound at Drako International Airport. The team was shown to thier Embassy for a nights rest and then given the full grand tour of the Drakonian Capital: Drako Throne. They were shown all major attractions of the Capital including the hand-in-hand Statues of Thomas Drake and Jolené Sutherland (founders of the Drakonian Imperium, centuries ago), the Grand Praetorian Palace (home of the Praetor, who they were introduced to along with his wife the Queen), the Grand Capital Building (housing the Drakonian Parliament and Senate), and Fort Mclean (oldest military installation in the Imperium). OOC: Before I made this post I had forgotten I had General Maxwell Clark's 2nd Armored Battalion in East Turkestan. LOL! Look out Rebels!

The DIA has uncovered new information involving the former treacherous Minister of Foriegn Policies, Bakr Sidqi. It appears he was being paid large sums of money by the CoVar Corporation to support the rebellion. But upon on discovery of this another anomaly appeared, according to bank deposit record a second party was transferring money to his account (not a CoVar front company). This anonymous donor appears to be a nation in the Eastern Caspian Sea region. We suspect this nation to be the same nation that is paying the CoVar Corporation to support the rebels. Currently, the DIA believe the mass grave at An Baraf to be part of Bakr Sidqi's orders for which he was being paid. It is believe he hired mercenaries (or possibly used his rebel contacts) to kill the civilians and a few Turkestani military personel there. What is not known is why. The DIA continues to look in that.

In other news, we continue our search for the nation responsible for hiring the CoVar Corporation. However the Dominion of Moldania has been ruled out as being a part of the hiring of CoVar. DIA agents are closing in on the suspect nation and should be able to establish some concrete evidence shortly.

The DIA seized $3 Billion from bank accounts discovered to be those of the Turkestani Rebels or CoVar Corporation. The information about those bank account was extracted from a lieutenant of the former commander of rebel force at Fort Kalihl. The Commander of Rebel force at Fort Kalihl is suspected to have been killed during the bombing of the Fort. The DIA has turned $2 Billion of the money to the East Turkestani government and has sent the rest to The Condotta and DoW to pay war debts.

The Drakonian government publicly condemned the Terrorist attack against the Turkestani President as "a last ditch attempt to save a dieing rebellion." The best Drakonian doctors stand by to fly to East Turkestan and render medical aid to the wounded President.

In a daring raid today, DIA agents attacked and killed thirteen rebel terrorists in the Turkestani capital. One man, a Abdul Hakeem was captured. He is currently being interogated by DIA officials and is suspected to be the Rebel Terrorist ringleader, although the DIA is still unsure of all intelligence involving Abdul Hakeem and his rebel terrorist activities. The DIA suspects he planned the attack on the Turkestani President and ran several other rebel terrorist cells in occupied cities.

Another Commando raid in An Jayilad seized a stash of weapons smuggled in by the CoVar Corporation. Several CoVar employees are reported to have been killed and MPs are searching the area to try and find several CoVar employees that escaped.

The rebel offensive has been broken and it appears most of the rebel forces involve has either been destroyed or fled to rebel-controlled territory in the southwest region and the northern mountains. Troops from the 2nd Armored Battalion recovered the remaining Drakonian IFVs and Light Tanks that had been captured by the rebels during their Nerve Gas attacks. The vehicles had been abandoned during the rebels' retreat.

It appears that the rebels, by either the blackmarket or their mystery financer, have managed to secure a nuke :shock:
Thus, we have ordered Captain Dyne to throw his forces at the main body of rebels immediatley, in an attempt to reach and destroy the nuke. Time is of the essence. Thus, we are sending extra troops to destroy the rebels as quickly as possible.

The DIA has made an amazing discovery the Nuke is currently being stored in the far Southwestern region of East Turkestan, near the border. A small group of Elite Commandos have been dispatched to that location of the country, actually they were already operating in that part of the country hunt CoVar smugglers. They are expected to make their insertion behind rebel lines shortly. They are some of the best Commandos from the 1st Air Cavalry (unit that helped liberate Fort Kalihl), and will be using a specially equipped Helicopter capable of flying silently (This is a Top Secret DIA Helicopter and all evidence that it exist is closely guarded). They should be able to get into behind the rebels and steal the weapons nuclear core leaving the rebels with an almost useless shell. What's worse if all goes well the Commandos should be able to complete their mission without the rebels knowing. They when they try to use the Nuke, the device will blow up, but not go nuclear.

The DIA requests that the forces of Vyse King of Rogues continue to attack to divert the rebels attention. If the mission is about to fail the Drakonain Commandos have been supplied with enough explosives to destroy the device (and to destroy a good portion of the rebel facilities; since the Nuclear Explosion has to be set off by perfectly timed and placed explosives this will render the device useless).

The DIA has even worse news, Mandrokia was responsible for the hiring of the CoVar Corporation. Even worse they now no longer have control of the Corporation. It seem that they paid most of the expenses for financing the rebels, possible more than $15 Billion, all in one lump some. They could pay the Corporation to stop, but CoVar appears to have a personal vendetta against the Drakonian Imperium and will do anything to topple or weaken our government, hence their invested interest in the War. To contain subility in the East Turkestan region the DIA suggest this news not be made public until the rebels are almost entirely destroyed and Combined forces can be redeployed to make Mandrokia give into our demands.

The Rebellion in East Turkestan has been a long a bloody one as of now the Drakonian government reports over a thousand Drakonian troops have been wounded or killed.

Currently, Fort Kalihl is in Combined hands (allied) and we are staging from the Fort against the rebels mountain positions. Yet, there are still a large numbers of rebel strongholds in the northern mountains and the southwest of East Turkestan.

Forces from Vyse King of Rogues are attempting to force their way into one of the southwestern strongholds that has a small nuclear device. Some of the best Drakonian Commandos have also been dispatched and are expected to make an intertion and disarm the device sometime later today.

Twice during the war the rebels have used the Nerve Gas agent LX1 against Drakonian troops. But the Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces were able to destroy almost their entire stock and their production facility for the gas.

The bulk of the central and western region of East Turkestan is held by Combined forces and the legitamet government of East Turkestan, but small pockets of rebellion are reported. As of now many of the Rebels are demoralized over recent victories by the Combined forces. The war may go on for a while but victory is in sight.

The Drakonian Intelligence Agency (DIA) has also discovered who is financing the rebels, the Mandrokia and the CoVar Corporation (who Mandrokia hired). But the DIA has requested that no action be taken against Mandrokia until the rebels are almost defeated and Combined forces are in position to encourage Mandrokia to meet their demands (in other words more troops near their border).

The Nuclear Bomb we provided to the Turkestani rebels is a Gun-Type Nuclear Weapon (think Hiroshima A-Bomb). It is about the size of a very large suitcase (think the type you that are so big you can't carry it on an airplane) and is powerful enough to level a small city.

I cannot tell you how we got it to the rebels, but I can say that we purchases the bomb from an unnamed nation (not Mandrokia) and smuggled it to the rebels after Drakonia and Dogs of War had begun to turn the tide of the war and the rebels had lost their LX1 plant and before we were discovered to be the rebels backers.

I would like to thank all nations that have offered their support in the fight against the East Turkestani rebels. It was not long ago that the Drakonian Imperium answered that same call for help and we are glad that others have responded also to this call. This war has been bloody for the Drakonians and Combined forces, and horrible and destructive at a grand scale to the Turkestanis. The more help we get at crushing this destructive rebellion the better. Soon, East Turkestan will be a peaceful nation and we are glad for the help we will be getting in making that future come sooner.

I look forward to fighting with Lavenrunzian forces against the rebels. The Lavenrunzian troops are in many ways superior to Drakonian troops. While Drakonian troops are extremely highly trained and regularly put through varying and challenging war games, the Lavenrunzian army's veterans will no doubt be much more skilled and prepared for actual combat than the bulk of our troops. For now our forces are learning the hard way what war is all about and how to become veterans.

As of now the East Turkestani commanders are coordinating a major allied offensive against the rebels (in the hope that this will crush almost all rebel opposition). So it is up to them to decide where Lavenrunzian reinforcement will be most needed, but I would like to offer my skill in giving the Lavenrunzians an idea where they are most needed.

First, to address Lavenrunzian air support. The Drakonian Imperium has deployed significant air power to the region and carried out many airstrike and scouting mission against the rebels forces. But, it appears that is not enough, as it appears a large ammount of rebel troops that launched the recent massive campaign against Turkestani Capital were able to retreat to the southwest (where they are causing Vyse King of Rogues' forces massive ammounts of causalties). Currently, Drakonian aircraft have been staging of the carrier IDS Dragon sitting off the Turkestani coast and out the Capital's International Airport, which near the beginning of this conflict was added on to and upgraded to accompidate increase military traffic.

The Turkestani Capital airport is being converted and added to, to support a military airbase so that the Imperial Drakonian Air Force can full access to the airport to better ferry supplies and troops to East Turkestan.

I offer the Lavenrunzian aircraft access to that airport and if necessary the IDS Dragon, to carry out their air raids. The DIA should also be able to provide Lavenrunz with intelligence to aid them in their attacks.

For military involvement the Turkestani's will have to decide as it appears to me that both proposed strategies are equally beneficial. Support the 1st Air Cavalry in the northern mountains and the leapfrog deployments would be able to throw back rebel forces.

I am glad to report that Major Michael York is also being recognized for his exemplory service to the Drakonian Imperium, the Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces, and our allies in this war (especially for his rescue and support of the DoW Special Forces). Henceforth, the Major is being promoted to the rank of Colonel, effective immediately. The Praetor apologizes since he would have prefered the Major's promotion to have taken place along with mine, but it slipped his mind. The Praetor would have liked to announce this himself, but pressing matters of state are keeping him busy. We would like the Lavenrunz airforce to bomb any rebel strongholds in the southwest or the north.

The nations joining our side can stage at any given location. General Achmed Mahmoud Barak congratulates Major York for his promotion to Colonel. But he also reports that some of the Turkestani soldiers are growing impatient. It seems as the attempted murder of the president have made them some of them a bit fanatic. But the greatest impact has gone to the militias. There are reports of large groups of armed civilians that demands to follow with the combined forces in the offensive. We're not sure if this have happened everywhere but in the capitol this have happened several times. But if this happen to any of the combined forces we advice to give in to their demands. (They look ready to kill the man who says no to them).

All Drakonian troop are in position or moving to attack northern strongholds in preporation for and support of the coming offensive. The bulk of Drakonian forces are at Fort Kalihl and are getting aggitated at the delay in the offensive. Maybe, we should proceed with the offensive as it appears the DoW and The Condotta forces are bogged down at Maidh and An Jayilad.

The 6th Armored Battalion is currently moving to rendezvous with the 1st Air Cavalry in the northern mountains, but will not be in position until later today. Meanwhile, the 1st Air Cavalry is taking causalties in their fighting in the mountains. Current reports state that 13 Soldiers and 5 Commandos are dead and that 23 Soldiers and 2 Commandos are wounded.

Drakonian troops will be glad to accept the support of Turkestani Civilian Militias in coming fighting. While it may be considered a minor insurrection the spirit of the Turkestani people is venerable and admired by our soldiers.

OOC: It summer so I have a lot of free time, but my pace is even causing me problems (I am not getting to sleep till late at night or actually early morning).

We have reached the rebel base in the southwest, and have made a discovery. Dyne and his troops were being held here, but they have escaped and are fighting the rebels. I ordered in all 10,000 of my ground troops, my 50 BH1 Humvees in to support them, and the 1st armored began blowing up enemy tanks and buildings. We advise the Drakonians to hurry up, get in here and diffuse the nuke.

The dead of night was peirced by far off gun fire. In the distance there were flashes of light. In the small hills in the background cave had been dug and building and fortification were scattered around a guarded compound. Among the buildings several old tanks were moving out toward the distant fighting at another nearby stronghold.

No one even heard the helicopter make it's way silently to above the guard base. The fighting in the distance and the movement of troops and armor covering the almost silent whoosh of the helicopter blades. It hovered over a building. A cord dropped to the empty roof and then one, then two, and then three, until six men had dropped down the cord to the roof.

One of the men moved to the edge and glanced around. Most of the guards surrounding the building were asleep. The three sat around a big crate and were drinking jovially. Hardly, the activity of a trained army, because they were not a trained army. They were rebels and somehow they had acquired an atomic bomb, capable of leveling a city.

The first commando on the roof signalled the rest and dropped out of sight of the drinking guards to the ground. Two more of the commandos moved to the edge of the roof. One crouched and aimed a Silenced Sub-Machine Gun at the drinking guard. Just in case. The other stretched out on the roof and started looking for targets with his sniper rifle. The last three commandos also moved silently to the end of the roof and in succession dropped to the ground and followed their leader.

A window on the side of the building had been left open a crack. The lead commando opened the window and in a second, slipped through. Seconds later he signal the others to follow. Two more commandos slipped through the window, leaving the last the watch the outside.

Inside the second commando through the window pulled a device from his belt and turned it on and glanced around. The building appeared to be a store room of some kind. Strewn around it were parts of rockets and other munitions. Crates were piled in places and on a table sat three rather large metal cases.

"This is it, alright," the second commando confirmed.

"Where," the leader asked.

The second commando waved his geiger counter around again and gestured to the cases. There was a nod from the leader and the third commando moved to the cases, then glanced up.

"Which one, sir," he asked.

A moment of indecision passed.

"Try them all we've got to make sure, the rebels don't have three nukes," the leader ordered.

The third commandos went to work, mumbling. "Electronic Key Pad Locks." He removed the outer casing from the keypad locks, on the cases; pulled some equipment from his pocket and for a second a spark was visible. Then there was click and the case opened, the third commando replaced the keypad's casing and moved on to the next case.

Now the second commando moved forward to look at the device inside. He ran his geiger counter over the case. "It's giving off radiation, but...." He leaned in to get a closer look at the device. "It's a fake," the second commando said obviously impressed. "Their using components from a microwave oven to trick the geiger counter."

He closed the case and moved on to the next case. "This one two," he confirmed and moved on to the final case.

"Bingo," he wispered, putting away the geiger counter and crouching to set down his combat back-pack. He pulled a small heavy lead case from the back-pack and opened it. Inside it he remove several things and replace some components in the atomic bomb. Those components he removed were placed carefully in the lead case. In a minute he was done and was putting his back-pack on.

The leader made a quick sweep of the room as the third commando climbed back out the window and then back onto the roof. "Sierra Delta Carlie 3 3 1, Confirmed," he spoke into his headset as the second commando too climb out of the building and then onto the building's roof.

As the leader climb out the window and joined the commando who waited outside. There was a noise from down the dirt track that led up to and then past the building. Both commandos crouched back against the wall and behind some more crates as three rebels (not part of the guards) walked along the dirt track and past the store room. All were heavily armed but didnot notice the silent black shadows along the wall. Within a few seconds they had disappeared down the track and behind some other buildings. With them gone, the leader and remaining commando climbed back onto the roof as the distinct almost inaudible whooshing sound appeared in the air again.

In front of the building one of the drunk guards fell out of his seat on a box, waking one of the sleeping guards. The guard stood and woke the rest of his sleeping friends as an old non-descript pickup truck pulled up to the store house.

Already, moving away the commandos now safe in the helicopter watched several rebels load the cases into the truck. They would never know until it was too late that they had been tricked. Their atomic bomb was now a dud and when they detonated the explosives in it, it would not go nuclear because there was nothing to start the atomic chain reaction, nothing now but one cleverly built Microwave Radiation Generator. The mission was accomplished and entirely successful.

General Achmed Mahmoud Barak can't hold back the Turkestani troops anymore and has agreed to start the offensive. They are currently marching towards the first mountain stronghold and requests that the Lavenrunz airforce begin bombings of the strongholds.

In the grey hours before dawn, thirty six ugly, awkward looking Krieghund ground attack fighters, escorted by much sleeker Feuerkatz fighter-bombers streaked towards their designated targets. Behind them, slower and heavier, came the C-130s carrying a brigade of Airborne troopers.

The Drakonian Imperium is also glad to welcome support and troops from The Volga. We will be glad to fight alongside their soldiers in the coming fighting.

Fighting in the north increase, yesterday, with the arrival of the 6th Armored Battalion. The 6th Armored is now supporting the 1st Air Cavalry. Currently causalties are 10 Soldiers and 2 Commandos killed and another 20 Soldiers wounded.

The 2nd Armored and 3rd Infantry Battalions have begun to move against rebel positions. The 3rd Infantry is heading to the northern mountains to support the 1st Air Cavalry and 6th Armored Battalions, while the 2nd Armored is moving the southeast of East Turkestan to crush CoVar supply lines and the small rebel resistance in the area.

The Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces is preparing to reorganize it's military structure. As of now the main Drakonian army elements are Battalions. This is expected to be changed to Legions or Divisions that will be much larger than the current Battalions. Drakonian ground troops are also expected to be referred to as Legionaires. This is planned to go into effect as soon as the rebellion in Turkestan has been crushed, but before any demands are made to Mandrokia. The change comes with increased need for military power in Drakonia and a recent increase in military spending.

The DIA reports the elite Commandos from the 1st Air Cavalry successfully completed all mission objectives for their mission to disarm the rebel atomic bombs. The Commandos were able to disarm the nuke without the rebels knowledge and they were also able to discover two decoys that the rebels (or more like CoVar had given the rebels) were in possession of. The DIA suspects that the rebels planned (an still plan, since they have no idea their nuke is a dud) to hide the bomb alongwith the two decoys in a major Turkestani city and then make some kind of demand (like surrender the country or else). We think they will still carry out this plan, but are currently unsure of the details.

Public Polls in the Drakonian Imperium report that 70% of Drakonian citizens believe the war is going well. With only 13% believing it to be going badly, and another 17% are unsure. Other polls reported that 76% of Drakonian citizen support the war, with 14% opposed to the war, and 10% unsure. Polls also showed that 80% of all Drakonian citizens welcomed new allies in the war, with only 5% opposed, and 15% unsure. This shows that while support for the war has declined (which is normal) since the last polling of citizens, the decline was very small and rather insignificant. The polls also show that Drakonians overwelmingly support the addition of new allies in this war.

DIA Intelligence show that the remaining rebel forces are consentrated on the outskirts of East Turkestan, while small pockets of resistance are skattered in the interior (many terrorist cells). We suspect that the rebels still possess come aircraft, mainly a few helicopters and a few jets. We suspect them to be positioned in the southeast and in several place in the far north of East Turkestan.

I have the honor to report that our Airborne brigade has captured one of the mountain fortresses, a bunker complex which was housing a tactical missile complex. Warheads of a conventional and chemical nature were found there.
Our casualties were 19 dead and 45 wounded in capturing the area. There are 92 enemy dead and 315 prisoners who surrendered. Among them are two officers of field grade rank who are being sent under guard to your headquarters for questioning.
Our Krieghund Squadron is prepared to support the 1st Air Cavalry and 6th Armoured in their next assault.
The rest of the Army Corps can be moved in at this time to follow up or join in any attack by your forces in the mountains, and at your word I will instruct that this should be done.

The 1st Air Cavalry Battalion is moving against a major rebel stronghold in the far northwest of East Turkestan. But, while the Battalion was moving into possition today and working on coordinating their attack with the offered Lavenrunzian support, the forces were suddenly attacked by rebels. During the fighting an unknown attack helicopter was launched into the friegh attacking Drakonian troops. It was shot down by shoulder-launched SAM, but not before many soldiers were killed and IFV was destroyed. The remaining rebel forces attacking the 1st Air Cavalry Battalion were driven off shortly thereafter and the 1st Air Cavalry is working on further preparing for the attack against the rebel stronghold. Lavenrunzian aircraft are request to gather intelligenc on rebel possition in the area and then bomb above ground facilities at the stronghold. Current causualty report say 23 soldiers are dead and another 12 wounded.

Other Drakonian military units (6th Armored and 3rd Infantry Battalions) and are currently in the central northern region attacking the rebels cave hideouts. The 2nd Armored Battalion is still enroute to the southeast of East Turkestan. Otherwise, the Drakonian army is staying at its current location to defend that territory.

We await the news from The Volga and the arrival of their troops to help us finish off the remaining rebels. Their help will be much appreciated.

Following recon sweeps of the rebel stronghold in NW Turkestan, the Krieghund Squadron was loaded up with 'bunkerbuster' bombs and escorted by the Feuerkatz Squadron headed into action.
The mission was reported as being generally successful; all targets hit, but with one Feuerkatz destroyed and one Krieghund damaged enough that the crew were forced to eject. A rescue mission by the Air Cavalry is requested.

The special group would be paradropped to SE of Turkestan during midnight then persue the operation at dawn.

The group would be equipped with high powered fire arms of J-23 and with scopes for sniping. They are also given with headset o communicate with its team leaders and frequencied on a special code.

The Volgan troops arrive in East Turkestan, and prepare to move against the rebels. 50 Apaches are sent to scout ahead of the force, with 10 F-22's making sure that their can be no danger from rebel fighters (if indeed, there are any).

If information of the whereabouts of rebel forces could be obtained, it could be helpful in allowing me to conduct an offensive against them.

The DIA is currently transporting Rebel prisoners held in the East Turkestan capital to facility build in Fort Kalihl where further and continueing interogations are to be held. As the rebellion appears to be about to end the DIA is currently investigation the option of reindoctrinating the lower level rebel prisoners so they can be reassimilated back into East Turkestani society.

Further fighting is reported in the north as Drakonian troops from the 1st Air Cavalry attacked today a rebel stronghold. The stronghold was in the north far northwest near the ocean and had just been bombed by Lavenrunzian aircraft. Soldiers of the 1st Air Cavalry were able to rescue Lavenrunzian pilots that had evade capture by rebel forces. All the pilots are being transported back to the Turkestani capital by helicopter. It appears that there are that 10 Drakonian soldiers have been killed and another 25 wounded in the fighting at the stronghold.

Current rebel troop locations are in the southeast and north of East Turkestan, while small pockets of resistance are scattered throughout the rest of the nation. Rebel terrorist cells are also reported to be spread across the nation's cities (except for the capital where all rebels are suspected to be imprisoned).

Elements of the 1st Expeditionary Force working together with Drakonian MPs and Turkestan military, civilian militia, and police, closed off the city of Miadh, today. In the hope that they would be able to erradicate Rebel resistance cell hiding out in the city. The rebels in the city claimed to have an atomic bomb, but the DIA is sure this is the device the 1st Air Cavalry's Commandos disarmed. Currently, Drakonian MPs and Turkestani civilian militia and police are combing the city for the rebels.

This Embassy is being built for the nation of Davao City to further diplomatic relations and as a gesture of good will for their support of the Drakonian Imperium during it's war alongside East Turkestan against their rebels. The offer of the embassy is added to the recent offers of Embassies to Vyse King of Rogues, Lavenrunz, and The Volga (see above). Our troops has landed last night and radioed that the place was peaceful and pushing to the capital to assist the government of east terkistan. They have met some resistance but they managed to infiltrate and slay the rebels. We are wounded with 3 elite troops.

They told us that the rebels are not that highly armed. the reason why we have been wounded because of the unfamiliarity of the place.

The buildup of forces against holdouts in Miadh and on the Mandro-East Turkestani border continues. In an earlier press conference with General von Baden, commanding Imperial Lavenrunz forces in East Turkestan, confidence and expectation of victory within the next month was projected.
Our Airborne troops, in concert with the Draconian 1st Air Cavalry are leapfrogging from mountain stronghold to mountain stronghold, and have generally encircled and cut off these forces from the remaining larger rebel forces.
With victory in sight, morale high (film shows armored units rolling by, Lavenrunzians waving at the camera, seeming cheerful, mechanized troops with heads out of hatches, tank commanders giving devil may care salutes) hopes are that East Turkestan will soon be restored to peace.

The 1st Air Cavalry and their Lavenrunzian allies have been bashing their way through north of East Turkestan, crushing what remains of the rebel resistance. There are still suspect to be a few pocket of rebel resistance in the north, but they should be easily dispatched.

The situation at Miadh is mainly a policing situation, but Lavenrunzian support is welcome. The city is under Turkestani control, but small elements of Turkestani rebel terrorist cells still operate within. Drakonian troops and MPs, along with Turkestani Police and Civilian Militiamen continue to comb the city for the rebels.

Today, thirteen rebels were killed by Drakonian MPs (two MPs are dead and another wounded), when the MPs discovered their hideout. The hideout did contain a fake atomic bomb which the rebel attempted to detonate, thinking it was the real thing. The device did explode as it appeared it had been built as a decoy and been back with several pounded of high explosive to simulate the weight of the nuclear material. This is not the device the Commandos disarmed however and is just one of the two rebel decoys.

There are reports that many rebel troops are surrendering in other parts of East Turkestan and even a few who have surrendered in the north. As per earlier agreed upon conditions of surrender, all low-ranking rebels are being disarmed and sent home, while all high-ranking rebels are being interrogated by the DIA.

The Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces has decided that the satisfactory advancement of the war is cause enough for the immediate rearrangement of Drakonian army units. More transports (with naval escorts) and transport aircraft are on thier way to East Turkestan to resupply and upgrade Drakonian soldiers there, but while this is expected to drasticly increase Drakonian troops forces in East Turkestan. It is also expected take quite a while. All Drakonian Battalions are to be upgraded to Legions (aka Divisions), as soon as possible. The Imperial Drakonian Armed Forces Command plans to merge the 6th and 2nd Armored Battalions, into one Armored Division (along with reinforcements from the Drakonian mainland), and also the 1st Expeditionary and 3rd Infantry into one Expeditionary Division (also with reinforcements). The 1st Air Cavalry will be reinforced and turned into a Airborne Division. This is expected to take day and will complicate our ability to combat the remaining rebels.

The build up of forces along the Mandro-Turkestani Border in the north is imperative to further our plans of forcing the Mandrokian government to follow our demands for reparations. The Drakonian troops will join other Combined troops along the northern border as soon the rearrangement of Drakonian forces is complete and the majority of rebels in the north and south have been neutralized.

I have talked to my contacts in the Drakonian Diplomatic Corps and they assured me that something beneficial to both our nation and Lavenrunz can and will be arranged shortly. I personally look forward to our continued relationship with as many of our allies as possible.

during a mission to bomb the rebels, a force of B-1B Lancers and B-52 Stratofortressess recieved strange orders. Along with their escort of 22 F-15's, they were ordered to immediately air strike all build ups of Turkestani and Drakonian forces. The pilots shrugged, and went on with their jobs, closing in on the Drakonian positions.

Meanwhile, the VEF (Volgan Expeditionary Force), started marching on the East Turkestani Capital of (insert name here). With extremely heavy air cover (A-10's, UH-60,s, AH-64's, F-22's, F-15's) they could hold off all but the most determined of attacks.

We had heard that our president is sending more troops to EAst Turkestan and finally get over the crisis of the country. They announced that they are actually waiting for the go signal of the elite team leader when to infiltrate the troubled country. The president is also waiting for the approval of the 3 nation alliance.

The president went live at around 6 PM and told the nation that we are going to help East Turkestan and eliminate any suspicious country tha would try to invade it.

So the president addressed to the Turkestan govt that if we are able to eliminate the enemies is it ok for our troops to stay on the country and both countries would become allies and we will be your protectorate.

The Chief general announced that if turkestan is willing to sign a treaty. The country of Davao City will immediately send 50 stealth bombers and 5 carriers with full support on the area and start its military movement as soon as ppossible.

Today Dictator Mandro held a pressconference about the government being accused for funding CoVar Corporation to keep the rebellion going. Dictator Mandro called the evidence incomplete and pointing in the wrong direction.

OOC: Actually you are right. We are small and don't really have much of a mercenary army. But. We do have a lot of money, especially because to do anything, we are hired to do, we require a large series of payments. Hence, we were paid to destroy the government of East Turkestan. And hence, we are buying the weaponry we are giving the rebels. It mainly old stuff and cheap, but a gun is a gun. We purchase most of the stuff we supply the rebels from unnamed sources and then hire people (using only a few operatives to watch over them) to transport the munitions, guns, etc. to the rebels. Making are activities hard to detect (using the third party system). {Evil Laugh} That is why we are successful (generally) and why business is good. {Yet Another Evil Laugh}

The situation in East Turkestan has escalated. And as such the increase in Imperial Drakonian troops is definitely neccesary and lucky to have been initiated before Combined forces were betrayed by The Volga. Currently, reinforcements are being sent to East Turkestan, while Drakonian troops around the capital are working with the soldiers of Vyse King of Rogues and East Turkestan to further entrench their positions.
I also recall the all Drakonian military battalions (except the 1st Air Cavalry which is moving toward Fort Kalihl and coordinate with Lavenrunzian forces) to the Turkestan Capital to prepare to fight the traitorous forces of The Volga.

The 2nd and 6th Armored Battalion are now the 2nd Armored Legion, which is currently at 30% strength. While, that appears to be weak they are actually comprised of the combined strength of both battalions and recently airlifted reinforments. They number now at about 30,000 Ground Troops and numerous armor.

It now appears we are in the eye of the storm as Combined and Allied troops regroup to prepare to fight the traitorous allies of the rebels. More support and troops from Davao City will be very much appreciated. I would advise that these troops be positioned to support allied forces in the central part of East Turkestan as we prepare for the attack of The Volga. The cities around the Capital will be the most vulnerable during the fighting and will need to be defended, Drakonian troops in that area are expected to be reinforced shortly.

We have now activated our military to hostile armies and anyone that fires on us will fire back at them with vengance. Our troops radioed us and they are now infiltrating the bounderies and has surrounded the country.

We are also paradropping elite groups on the turkestan capital to staion them on the high building and other secure territories. We as JAMS composed of 3 countries are now obliged to defend the turkestan nation.

Same with the troops we are supported by the Abram tanks and highly sophisicated F14-f16 and stealth bombers that can target enemies 100 miles away.

Now our troops are engaging into war with the rebels and we are bound to eliminate the hostilities.

The Imperial Drakonian Naval fleet off the East Turkestani coast went on full alert as soon as intelligence arrived signalling that reinforcements for The Volgan betrayers would be arriving by ship. The Battleship IDS Inexorable and the Carrier IDS Dragon were reported to be sail south along the East Turkestan coast along with three Drakonian Cruisers and other naval support. While, now the fleet is reportedly standing down, fleet support along with the reinforcements (part of the Drakonian army reorganization) are enroute to East Turkestani waters.

During the confusion of The Volgan bombings of Drakonian and Turkestani forces, there were reportedly many deaths. All in all, 123 Soldiers, 23 Commandos, and 45 MPs were killed. Another, 67 Soldiers, 7 Commandos, and 15 MPs were wounded. Fortunately, Drakonian military units at the Turkestani Capital, Fort Kalihl, and the surround cities were equipped with IFVs specially outfitted to function as mobile Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) Batteries. These IFVs were able to destroy some The Volgan munitions before they landed, saving countless lives. Damage to the cities around the Turkestani Capital was reported to be extensive in some concentrated areas. The Capital was reported to be hit a few bombs as was Fort Kalihl.

Meanwhile Drakonian troops continue to be reorganized and reinforced in preparation for the continued conflict and possible escalation by rebel allies.

I do have limited RP experience. This was my first RP on NationStates and I think it was for East Turkestan, but both Dogs of War and The Condotta have had numerous experience and I assume our new allies have lots too. I have had a good ammount of RPing outside this thread since it started so I no long consider myself a newbie, but I was when it started.

The Dominion of Drakonian Imperium hereby states that it will not stand for more underhanded and backstabbing methods from The Dictatorship of Mandrokia or it's allies. Because of the hiring of the CoVar Corporation to destroy the sovereignty of The Confederacy of East Turkestan by the means of open rebellion it was deemed that this action was necessary. Hence the following is a list of demands that, if not met, will be greeted with immediate and violent War with the Dominion of Drakonian Imperium.

And if you look at how the war is going: there are only a few rebel holdouts, Volga cancels his reinforcements, and the Drakonia is making some serious demands of Mandrokia. Looks very bad.

I doubt that the Mandro government will even consider to follow the Drakonian conditions. Mandrokia have lost many wars and have been forced to pay reperations and cede territory to the victourius nation.

I am happy to report that the Drakonian military reorganization (and reinforcement, in East Turkestan) is going remarkably well. A large group of transports escorted by a several Imperial Drakonian Naval vessels landed at Talikh Naval Base today. Drakonian troops and their vehicles and equipment from the new 1st Expeditionary, 2nd Armored, and 1st Airborne Legions were safely disembarked and are now on thier way to meet up with their positions at and near the East Turkestani Capital and in the north at and near Fort Kalihl. While these forces are still not at 100% strength and are now at about 50-60% they have almost doubled the ammount of troops the Drakonian Imperium has fighting in East Turkestan. It is hoped that these troops will be able to hold off the forces of The Volgans, the remaining rebels, and possible forces from Mandrokia. I hope (and guess) that the reorganization and reinforcement of Drakonian troops in East Turkestan will be done with in the next day or so.

Information was passed down to me by my Diplomatic contacts in the Imperium, that the government was willing to allow extremely limited negotiation of their demands of Mandrokia. Considering Mandrokia past and the current situation it is suggested that they concede (although, not expected). I was told that in exchange for reparations payments the Drakonian government would except the joint control of the Mandrokia government with it's allies and the current regime. We hope that the Mandrokians will give in Drakonian and Combined demands, but do not expect it.

Meanwhile, forces of the 1st Expeditionary Force on patrol near one of the major Turkestani cities did briefly engage Volgan troops. The firefight ended with no causalties on the Drakonian side and it is suspected that their were not on the Volgan side, either. With this encounter Drakonian troops are now awaiting further combat, as they have entrenched their positions. I have decided that if the Volgans do not press the attack that I will need to as soon as the next wave of reinforcement (for the reorganization) arrive. Which, should be shortly.

The Task Force 1 is patrolling the south in anticipation of intercepting any Volgan troop transports enroute to East Turkestan, while Task Force 2 is stationed along the central Turkestani coast patrolling the bulk of the coastline. The carrier IDS Dragon meanwhile is usually floating off Talikh Naval Base, while it launchs airstrikes against rebel (and shortly Volgan) positions. Task Force 3 will mainly support the current Task Forces and will be moving in to cut off the escape of any Volgan ships off the Turkestani coast as soon as it nears the area.

The rebels are carrying better weapons and strangers are being found among the corpses. We have not been able to identify their nationality other than that their not Mandro, CoVar employees or Volgan. The bodies are being sent to the DIA for identifacation.
We suspect that a fourth nation has involved itself in the rebellion.

something like half those guys AT LEAST should be support. plus 5% is a very large number. france in the napoleonic wars at its peak only used 3% of its population and that was ridiculously large. so i think reduce the numbers a little.

VEF
The VEF reinforcements have arrived finally making the VEF a more viable force in the region. It has pulled back a bit and is requesting a truce with Drakonian Imperium and its allies until information about the CoVar Corporation's answer to the request for more money is recieved.

Volgan Army HQ
The Volgan military HQ is proposing to send a carrier group into the region, and it looks likely. The VNS Nantucket, a Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier is preparing to sail with its complement of 42 F-14's, 30 F/A-18's, 12 E-2C's and 12 E-AB's. It will move with the majority of the Volgan fleet, 7 GM Frigates, 3 ASW Destroyeres, 2 Cruisers, 5 Attack Submarines and 24 Supply Vessels. With this force supremacy off shore should be reached.

The DIA has suspicions of CoVar hired mercenaries fighting being hired to susport the rebels. Although, it was thought that the Corporation would simply send out it's own Mercenaries and not hire a third party. Meanwhile, the Bodies are being identified by DIA specialist. The DIA does ask that East Turkestan provide any intelligence it might have on who these unknown individuals could be.

My nations is a very militaristic nation that believe in military power as extremely important. Although, It is rare for Drakonian Troops to leave their border. It takes threats to the nation or a cry of help from an ally. I am curious do you know what percent of the German population was in the army at the time of WWII? China (World's Largest Army) and Korea (World's Second Largest Army) have about 5% of their population in their army.

ooc: my main problem is that you have given no indication as to wether you have support units taking up a large proportion of those men or not.

IC: My carrier group has left port. It will arrive in about 1 rl day. It will use its F/A-18's to destroy your ships and its F-14's to destroy your fighters (it had an unusually large force of F-14's on board).

I call for a truce for the moment. If CoVar can pay, then I will keep fighting. But if he cant, and you still attack, then I will fight regardless. So stay back and its possible that I will withdraw.

Actually, all you see behind her is water and the Subpens are nowhere to be seen. She pause for a second listening and then continues, "I am sorry, you actually can't see the Subpens as they are hidden behind the hill to my right."

"Today, there was a report of Drakonian attack and missile sub launching and heading toward East Turkestan. These report are unconfirm though as the man who made them was detained for trespassing on Military Land. We are not sure as to whether this is due to the recent Volgan fleet reported to be heading toward East Turkestan. But, whether or not this is the reason we it is still likely that The Volga will withdraw if Mandrokia and CoVar don't pay the demanded $20 Million. This is Candace Locke reporting live."

The 5th Independant Armored Brigade, the Imperial Airborne Division, supported by the Krieghund Ground Attack Squadron and the Feuerkatz Squadron have begun their counterattack against Volgan forces. Beginning with air and artillery strikes, the Grendel III main battle tanks do their best to seize initiative. The Krieghunds swoop in for close in attacks with air to ground missiles and their gatling guns. From as far back as the airbase at Fort Riyadh, Landsknecht missiles are fired.

The Drakonian Imperium unit began to deploy after the 2nd Armored Legion recieved the final reinforcements from the Drakonian homeland. While the 1st Airborne and 1st Expeditionary Legions still await a final group of transports to bring them to full strength the latest batch of transports arrived today at Talikh Naval Base. The 2nd Armored Legion is now advancing on Volgan positions.

Scouting flyovers were launched today from the Turkestani Capital's Internation Airport by Drakonian aircraft position there. The High-Altitude Intelligence flights were successful and Cruise Missiles from the Battleship IDS Inexorable are being readied to be fired on Volgan troops.

Meanwhile, coastal patrols were stepped up and the Task Force commanded by Commodore Alexis Stone is arriving. We can only expect a sudden escalation of fight. Whether or not the Volgans will pull back waits to be seen.

If you fire on me, I will start launching exocets at your fleet. It was $20 billion, and I doubt CoVar can afford it so don't get too worried. Like I said, if you fire on me or make any overtly hostile moves, then I won't back out at all.

We are not withdrawing our forces near East turkestan. But we have made instructions on not proceeding with the invasion against the rebels until the hostility esclates into war.
As far we have observed the problem is internal not worldwide. We are here just to make sure nothing bad will really happen.Unless it becomes a war we will immediately go in with force and give all support to the ruling party.

I assume you were addressing me? My carrier air wing is made up of 16 air superiority fighters, 18 fighter bombers, 16 long range fighter-bombers, 10 anti-submarine planes, 4 AWACs, 6 Electronic Warfare planes, 10 VTOL multi-purpose planes, + 14 helicopters.
Air assets in East Turkestan include a transport group, a fighter-bomber squadron and a ground attack fighter squadron. The fighter-bombers are called Feuerkatz and are equivalent to F-18s. The ground attack fighters are called Krieghunds and are equivalent to Su-25s.

The Carrier IDS Dragon is the price of the Imperial Drakonian Navy and all the Drakonian Imperium. It holds an impressive 85+ Aircraft, which consist of Air Superiority Fighters, Fighter-Bombers, and other Specialized Aircraft (Detection Aircraft, High-Altitute Bombers, Helicopters, UAVs, etc.). These aircraft are some of the most advanced the Imperium has to offer and are under the control of the Imperial Drakonian Air Force.

OOC: The Carrier is slightly (barely) larger than the current American Nuclear-Powered Carriers and armed with several anti-air and anti-sea weapons besides it's complement of aircraft.

The aircraft are general equivalent to current American and Russian aircraft. My Air Superiority Fighters were designed to have the manueverability of the latest Sukhoi fighters and the agility of sweft forward wing aircraft like the American X-29. The Fighter-Bombers are similarly designed. I am thinking that one type of my Air Superiority Fighters and Fighter-Bombers, which would be the most advanced, are sweft-wing (like F-14 only it would sweep all the way forward like the X-29) aircraft. The High-Altitute Bombers are like a Russian Sukhoi Bomber prototype that was recently cancelled. The Drakonian Imperium does not employ a wide variety of aircraft (although it does have a variety), but it does focus exclusively on their design and as such they are built to be able destroy other aircraft or target from long distances (like American Aircraft) and dog fight impossibly well (like Russian Aircraft).

If you are interested further on my aircraft or my carrier, both of which I've put a lot (and I mean a lot) of thought into, or think their a Godmod telegraph me. I really don't have anything concrete yet (hope to sometime), but I am thinking about putting up either my Aircraft or my Ships in a thread (and actually making all the information concrete.

We are ready to pay half of the 20 billion dollars that the Volga requested but the money will stay with us until we have recieved word that CoVar will pay their half.

Davao City, the Drakonian Imperium would like to report that as of currently much of the fighting against the remain rebels has died down. Although, it is known that the small ammount of remaining rebels are recieving support from Mandrokian troops, a unknown other nation, possibly CoVar mercenaries, and being supplied by the CoVar smugglers. So it see they make a small revival, but is uncertain at the moment. The war fighting the rebels to their current has taken a while and cost a lot of lives.

Xanther, the Drakonian Imperium would welcome aid to the East Turkestani peoples as they have suffered under this War for some time, but the last word is of course East Turkestan in such issues. We await there response.

The Dominion of Drakonian Imperium hereby states that it will not stand for more underhanded and backstabbing methods from The Dictatorship of Mandrokia or it's allies. Because of the hiring of the CoVar Corporation to destroy the sovereignty of The Confederacy of East Turkestan by the means of open rebellion it was deemed that this action was necessary. Hence the following is a list of demands that, if not met, will be greeted with immediate and violent War with the Dominion of Drakonian Imperium.

1. The Dictatorship of Mandrokia and all it's allies (CoVar Corporation, The Confederacy of The Volga, and any other unnamed allies) must pay full reparation to all States that have been involved in fighting the East Turkestan Rebels (excluding those which now support the Rebels). I do not want to use my own money to pay for a campaign that is so obviously not mine. if he refuses to pay, he is making me look like a fool, so I will destroy him.

The Drakonian Imperium is willing to negotiate with Mandrokia if all troops and support is pulled back immediately. We expect our allies to support us in this, but if they do not we will reconsider.

The Drakonian Imperium also states that if the forces of The Volga do not withdraw shortly that the Imperium will be forced to end the unofficial cease fire. At which point the Imperium will attack the beach with all forces available. Also, if any ships other than transports are spotted within Turkestani Waters the Drakonian and Lavenrunzian Fleets in the area are ordered to sink them on sight and the cease fire will also be ended.

The Drakonian Imperium would also like to thank, the nations of Xanther and Davao City for their support. To Xanther the Imperium would like it to know that all money sent it's way is appreciated as the funds it has taken to operate our forces were significant. ENN Logo flashes while a Loud Booming Voice says, "Reporting live is Brian Logan in the capital of East Turkestan, on the latest with the Rebellion in East Turkestan."

A very young report appears designed in combat fatigues and wearing a UN Blue combat helmet with the word, "Press" on it. Building can be seen in the background and what appears to be a heavily defended office building with Drakonian troops and vehicle milling around is visible to his left. To his right what appears to be a runway which, dissappears behind the reporter and the building defended by the Drakonians. He smiles. "The East Turkestan coast is a hotbed of activity recently as Drakonian and Lavenrunzian ship patrol up and down the coast hunting for enemy ships and stopping all other vessels entering the area.

At this moment a jet fighter touches down behind the report. At what appears to be Turkestani capital's International Airport and the adjoining air force base. Far behind it building and hangers are visible. The reporter continues, "The general bockade stops all ships and searches them for weapons bound for the rebels. In fact, it is reported that the frigate IDS Loyal stopped a freighter carry weapons sent by CoVar for the rebels in the north. All the crew were detained the CoVar employees are expected to be transported to Fort Kalihl for interogation. The rest of the crew will be released back to Nanakaland from which the independant frieghter hailed, after a short interogation by DIA officials. The frieghter is to be turned over to the Turkestani government at Talikh Naval Base."

Another jet fighter touches down which, appears to also be returning from patrol. "In further news, there have been unconfirmed reports of Submarines sighted along the Turkestani coast. Whether these ships are the reported submarines dispatched from Drakonia or vessels of The Volga remains unclear."

A pair of jet fighters, which now appear to have Turkestani insignia take-off heading for a air patrol of the capital. "As well the build-up of military forces from the Drakonian Imperium is complete. Although, the 4th Armored Legion has been called up and is preparing to be transported by ship to an undisclosed locations. The 2nd Armored is reported to be holding position with Lavenrunzian forces preparing to run The Volgan forces into the sea as soon and if the cease fire ends. This is Brian Logan, reporting live from East Turkestan."

The CoVar Corporation is deeply disappointed with the Volga's action. We will not be demanded of like we have been demanded of by the Volga. Therefore, to meet the threats of the Volga, CoVar denies payment all together. We will not be threatened. The Volga has been added to the list of CoVar Corporate Threats and will be dealt with, in time, along with the Drakonian Imperium and Terra Laga. East Turkestan, were sorry you are just business, but in the meantime we will finish our business in East Turkestan, whether or not Mandrokia stops funding. Drakonian troops are advancing closer to Volgan positions in preparation to attack as the time is running out for Volgan retreat. It looks, almost as if the war will escalate, but the unofficial cease fire has not yet been violated.

In view of my disgraceful treatment by CoVar, I am switching sides. My entire army has embarked on transports, and is aimed at the nation of CoVar. With our troops joined together with the east turkestan. The commanding chief ALAN KING announced in his press conference that the rebels are being forced to move back while the allied troops are attacking. But He announced and was in grief to announced that 3 of the 30 elite forces were badly wounded and is undergoing series of operations. Also 5 members are wounded and out of action for the moment.

He also announced that we would not send any reinforcement for the war against the rebel but we are still not withdrawing the battleship stationed outside its territorial seas.

The Mandro forces are pulling out from East Turkestan and the army and government will cooperate with the Combine.

We have positioned our troops to form an 'iron' wall against rebel controlled territory.

The Incorportated States of Xanther would like to, now, formally announce it's backing of East Turkestan and the Drakonian Imperium by sending twelve pilots and their Anarchist1 mod C jets straight out of TopGun flight school and into the command of their allies. However, I would like a follow up of any reserves you can spare, if possible. With Mandro forces having pulled back, victory may be in sight. We have 32 dead, 96 wounded, 17 destroyed APCs, 8 helicopters down.
