It's up now. But at the time you posted, it was down and had been for a while for me. I personally much prefer the old Jolt glitches like the timewarp putting posts way out of the correct order (it added an adventure/puzzle element to the action) rather than these new independent forum glitches when it just dies if too many people log on at once.

Maybe they were doing some work on the site. I didn't know it was down.

The Search Indexes in the NationStates forum have been at the centre of the issue. Every time a person posts, the index updates itself, which causes slowdowns. [Violet] has been trying out this new backbone for the new search system and I hope it will work.
