In accordance with the maxim, "De mortuis nil nisi bonum," I won't speak ill of the dead. At least not now.
I gave Sen. Kennedy respect for consistency at least. I opposed almost every policy he ever advocated (I can't think of an exception but there may be some here and there), but at least he was up-front about his positions and didn't sail under false colors, unlike some I could name. Better an open enemy than a pretended friend.
Your thoughts?
