So, India isn't going to jump off the no-carbon cliff with the other lemmings in the West, starting with Barack Obama and his henchmen in Congress.

Looks like the biggest Third World gas emitters are going to keep on doing what they do.

Since India, China, Brazil and others seem intent on not reducing carbon emissions, any reductions in emissions by the industrialized nations likely will have even less of a positive effect on the so-called problem. The only results in the West will be job losses and higher prices, along with increased government control of the economy. Which IMO is the real intention of the global warming types. Which point, among others, the following video makes clear:

Your thoughts?

My thoughts are man-made global warming is a lie propagated by money hungry politicians, eager to tax us for nothing.

I am not sure if global warming is real or not. Sure, the polar ice caps are melting, but Lewis County had a winter with below zero nights. I think there is an El Nino in the Pacific, as most of July we didn't hit 80 and have had a rainier than usual summer. Does global warming affect El Nino or La Nina in any way?

Do you believe in a New Ice Age, then? There are scientists who think that.

No, I do however think when the current sun cycle ends in 2012 things will cool down.

It's all in the sunspots, I guess. There is no climate change apart from that.

Well, some other things do contribute to Global Warming, but yeah, sunspots are the major force.

My thoughts? I don't care if man-made global climate change is a myth. Whatever happens, the market can take care of itself. *goes to worship at the altar of Ludwig von Mises*

What causes climate change then?

He just said he didn't care.

Natural processes such as changes in solar activity, changes in the tilt of the earth's axis, cosmic ray flux, etc.

A good discussion of the truth about "global warming" can be found here:

Most NSGers are Kyotophiles and Goreans and worship at the altar of "global warming." Few indeed have figured out it's a sham and a fraud.

India will rethink that strategy once rising sea levels destabilize Bangladesh enough for millions of Bangladeshi to come knocking on their door. (Or overrun India. You seem to like the word overrun.)

It's not a so-called problem, it's a true-to-life fucking problem. I'm glad Spain didn't fail to attend the Kyoto Protocol.

But seriously, India is falling into the religious deathtrap we know as "anti-global warming?" It will be a sad day...

Global warming is junk science. It is the creation of enviro-statists. Earth's temperature changes naturally. Greenhouse gases are needed to keep the earth livable and are only a fraction of the atmosphere. GRRRRRRRRR! RAOW!
