Chihuahuas

Why does "UN Watchdog" always seem to remind me of one of those skinny little rat-dogs yipping and shaking?

Chihuahuas crave attention, affection and petting. They can be hyper, but eager to please. They have a reputation as a "yippy" dog, which can be resolved with proper training.

Yep. Sounds like the UN to me.

OBJECTION!

Some chihuahuas are long haired and thus very cute indeed. See our new dog, Dolly.

You bought one of those ugly little things? Urgh.

We adopted one from the Humane Society shelter--where we get all of our pets--yes.

I'd show you a picture but we don't have a camera available at the moment. Suffice it to say she's very cute and you couldn't argue with such a cute little face!

I find small dogs creepy and annoying.

And I find you creepy and annoying, but I don't constantly whine about you.

I haven't been constantly whining about them... god I hate you.

Also how am I creepy?

You try and flirt with Sin and Nanatsu, but you're just a kid.

Can I not do that? Can a boy not dream? :p

Can a boy not dream? :p

The content of the dream would be illegal if enacted in real life, at least up until a few days ago.

Once you reach our age, two weeks are but a few days.

I still think that if a dog is smaller than a cat, something's definitely wrong with it!

Chihuahuas, like the UN, need to punted over a fence.

Someone after my own heart.

GN: You just haven't ever seen a proper cat, have you?

A friend of mine had a cat that killed and ate a chihuahua.

The cat. I mean how can it eat one of those.

I am not a fan of chihuahuas. If you want a dog, get a dog. If you want a rodent, get a rodent. Don't get a high-strung, snappy, yappy mutant hybrid.

Sorry, Kyronea. I've not had good experiences thus far. I'm sure Dolly's a sweetie, but I've got scars on both my ankles and my soul. ;)

The cat. I mean how can it eat one of those.
First, it kills it. Probably by grabbing it by the throat until it stops breathing, just as they do to mice and birds.

Then, it eats it, using the scissor-like action of its carnassials to cut through the hide.

Well, I know how I just don't see how anything could eat something so unasthetically pleasing.

I'm not talking lions or tigers, I'm talking house-hold cat.

And I stand by my opinion that a dog should always be bigger than a cat to be considered a dog.

Anyway, I'm sorry. But that just happens to be how I feel about it.

Never seen a Maine Coon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maine_Coon#Breed_description) have you?

Then again, having lived with my roommate's part 'Coon cat for nearly a year, I can say that the thing does act more like a dog than a cat sometimes. Sometimes because she's a needy little prig. If you're not petting her, she will pet herself against your hand, which I think is decidedly cat-like.

Nope, can't say I have. Just another good example of why dogs should always be bigger than a cat!

But I don't like cats all that much, especially because of their petting themselves against one even if they're not welcome to do so!
