The video doesn't show anything, just tells some story. How do we know it's even true? I assume it is, but how do we know the cougar was going to "eat these dogs" (do they even eat dogs?), rather than just investigating the unusual creatures?
This would have been a better story if the cougar had won.

If you can startle a Black Bear it will turn and run, once it starts running any determined persuit will keep it running. Cats are territorial and over confident so they will pursue a bear.
