How much are you making from Adsense or look a likes?

I started one month ago with a blog. No, I will not provide the link. I think it would be considered as spam here and I want to keep the blog clean (sorry guys :p).
It doesn't contain a lot of content right now, about 40 postings, but I am already able to gain some money via the Adsense system.
10$ in one month! :)
If you have a blog or a website and when you use Adsense (or similar), well how much money are you gaining? I'm just curious.

Say, I didn't know about this. Can I access it through Adsense.com or something? Additional income is not bad at all.

You earn money when they click the adds.
You can format these ones in a style you prefer.
The adds are usual related to the content of your blog, but sometimes it is resulting in weird adds. But you can alter these ones as well. You can remove companies from your add banners.
It doesn't help to click by yourself on these banners, Google sees all and will not allow it :)
I think when my blog is at cruise speed then it should be possible to earn something between $50 and $100 each month.

Thanks for the idea, HK.:)

I don't see why people like to do it. Why share your life with a bunch of strangers?

Hehe. Actually it was just about 10 minutes work to set it up, trying out a style etc.
So it's rather easy money. :)
I don't see that blog as a cash cow anyway.

Yeah, but it does seems to be an effortless way of getting some additional income. Write just a few lines each day, post and when people read it and click the ads, well, some cash flows. Albeit not much of course.

I'm not sharing my life. It's dealing about an aspect of my profession. So it's rather serious, technical and boring for outsiders :)
I don't think my life is interesting enough to show it to the world.

The world oldest blogger (it seems there's more than one) died last week. She had 1.5 million hits :)
She posted once a week. If she used Adsense, I assume it would be rather big money.

Some guy in Belgium, entered the Adsense money on his taxpaper forms. Now the government is sueing him for being a fake independent. He will have to pay more to the state then he ever earned from his Adsense. I like this country :)
It doesn't help to click by yourself on these banners, Google sees all and will not allow it :)Does it check IP or what? You can fake IPs with proxies, though I reckon, for 0.02$ or so per click you'd better not bother :)
When I'll release my projects I'll probably get some hits haha, thanks for this, I heard about it but never actually knew how to do it.
How do you actually place the ads? If anything, can you recommend a good layout that makes people less annoyed by ads AND at the same time makes them click on them? Thanks.

I don't think they are checking IP alone. That would be too easy, isn't? :) I know that they use pattern checkers. If software is clicking each hour on your banner, then they know after 1 week of monitoring that it's software.
I ordered my adds very discrete below at the bottom and I check regularly if the ads are connected with my content. I don't believe in 'pushing' ads, like the one here on this forum, yeah the ad in the right above corner :)
