The British stuntman, Steve Truglia, drove for television Fifth Gear on the UK station Channel Five with a car by a 12 meter high looping drove.

Call me back when The Stig does it on Top Gear.

I have nothing to do with Fifth Gear after they burned down Top Gears prop storage shed.

Ok, who on NSG wants to replicate the experiment with a loop twice the size and half the gradient? We might make 80-90mph on this one and then it will actually be a stunt.

Okay, you can be the driver, I'll be the camera man.

Done and done. Now we just need a physicist to calculate the speed.

That's as fast as those British cars can go. Pretty soon that's what we'll be driving. :p

Well not me, I'll be driving a truck that goes 37 mph, but still.

Nah, we'll do that, it'll be more exiting if there's a chance that you die.

If you're going that slow, I would say it's even more impressive. The slower you go, the harder it is to stay on the loop.

Yea, you can see by the second loop (or is it the same loop but at a different angle?) that the car almost did come off of the loop.

He had a head start .. I thought he was going to rock back and forth until he got up enough momentum to go all the way over .. lol

The faster he went, the more gees he'd pull. It'd suck to pass out at the top of the loop.

Granted, but in order to stay on the track at that low of speed, had to be one hell of a gradient, and therefore be a very small loop.

I would have liked a bigger loop with a shallower gradient, and a higher speed.
